I remember having a character who was dual wielding a pickaxe and a woodcutter axe. That was actually pretty epic and made me think of Eragon's bro who wields a hammer
imagine you're a powerful soldier in some corrupt king's army and you get bodied by a guy with a hammer man, that book series is WILD, part of me wonders what Chris P. was smoking when he wrote them.
I like the 1H and 2H dragonbone axe, the designs are a nice blend of simple and savage, some of these fancier axes look like you're fighting with a precious antique more than a weapon made for combat
The dawnguard axe disrespect is unreal. It looks smooth, the colours are bright and have a nice contrast to them, the carving looks great. Top tier design
Idk I kinda hate it. I think the blade (?) part of the axe is far too small (it honestly kinda looks like a fancy woodcutters axe), and the shape is pretty strange to me. The carvings look great though.
It would be funny if you could have your character just carry around a hunk of wood with iron banding attached to it, enchant it to your liking, improve it at a blacksmith to Legendary condition and simply call it "Plank."
The goat uploaded !! So I busted out my old 360 about 4 months ago and started playing Skyrim for the first time ever ! And bro I’ve been hooked ! I’m lvl 30 now beat the main quest but still can’t get enough of the game it’s something to look forward too after practice 💯 keep up the great content my guy and happy I found your channel
Actually really like the dwarven battle axe, or whatever the big one is called. It's a bit blocky, but realistically, that's a perfect spot to grab if you need to no longer have your axe imbedded in someone's chest
Man I just love the Look of the Steel, Ebony and Nordic Axe, I know is simple but for me Is Effective, it look like and Axe and that Axe can Cut some Head and Kill some Monsters, I just like when something is minimalist but Effective.
Fun fact about Double Bladed Axes They were never used in real combat because the second blade adds literally nothing to the weapon, A Poleaxe has a hammerhead on the other end to be used as an anti-armour weapon, the Halberd has a spike on the other end that can be used in a different way than an axe head, meanwhile for double bladed axes, it's just another axe head, the only benefit you get out of using it is when the edge on the other blade is too damaged to be used, which would be rare considering the fact that because Axes are top heavy, they don't need an incredibly sharp blade in order to kill someone, unlike Swords which need to be razor sharp in order to be effective due to the mass being concentrated closer to the handle Also another fun fact, Axes aren't that much heavier than Swords in real life, in fact some can be lighter, the reason why Axes feel heavier than Swords is because the mass is concentrated at the Axe Head, it's easier to hold and manipulate an object when you're holding it close to it's center of mass, which is why Swords feel so much lighter than Axes when the weight difference isn't that large
Hey man I love your Skyrim content. Do you think you could do a unique weapons ranked based on appearance at some point? Thanks a bunch I hope you gain a bunch of subscribers you deserve it bro
I love how it looks, it's like a beautiful glass sceptre of death. The battle axe is one sided and it also looks amazing so I also kind of agree with you.
There is that special version of a woodcutters axe that can be found at the bandit hideout "Halted Stream Camp" near Whiterun, one of them always has it with him. I dual-wielded this "Poachers Axe" with the "Ancient Nordic Pickaxe" from the Dawnguard DLC; that was a fun playthrough :D
I was gonna say something about the steel axes being over the dragonbone battle axe, but then I saw that you put my absolute favorite weapon in Skyrim at number one so I literally cannot argue with you now because you’re objectively correct.
Falmer Axe are my favorite exactly because it's so Cathulu themed! :) It looks alien, dirty, exotic and wild, just how I like it! My favorite designes are mixing orcish and falmer stuff: falmer gauntlets, orcish boots, falmer one-handed weapons and bow, orcish two-handed stuff... It looks great on my Argonian spellsword. XD
7:54 I could never take glass war ax seriously. It looks like an Orlesian escaped Dragon Age: Inquisition to fight the dragon born with his/her mask. Good vid
2:02 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 “It looks like what Cthulhu would use to tend to his Garden”🤣 Idk how long it took for him to think of that joke but that’s freaking hilarious. And true
The dragonbone war axe is my favorite axe in the entire game. The simplicity is incredible, the color is clean, I think it's exquisite. But I can understand why you don't like it, it does kinda look funky. Awesome video, all of your videos are always amazing, please, keep it up!
Yeah, daedric axes look stupid and would make horrible weapons that would get stuck in people with all the saw teeth, and then you accidentally spear yourself with the backend when when you pull too hard trying to get it unstuck. Personally I like the ones that look like real useable weapons, like the dawnguard, steel, and ebony. The Nordic Battle axe would look awesome iiiif…. They turned the blade upside down (or right side up, because the actual axe looks like the blade was made upside down just to be different). If that was done it would be the slickest axe in the game. Unfortunately the Nordic war axe is just dumb.
Because he just screams at everyone near him and never shuts up, it's even worse when you realize you can hear him from both dragonsreach and jorrvaskr, which are both places people visit frequently
Ngtl, at the beginning of my playthrough, I used a spell to enrage him and let the guards take care of him. I did it on a whim because people always talk about how they dislike him. I was pleasantly surprised by how okay with it I am and how much more calm I am in Whiterun now.
Just wondering if you will revisit the rankings since the Creation Club Gold, Dark and Madness armour sets and weapons habe been introduced in a free update to Skyrim Special Edition?
I would watch these rankings even if I didn't play Skyrim, you are so charismatic and your voice is amazing. That said that comment about axes being the best weopon type was unacceptable and I think you should be taken off of UA-cam. Keep it up!
Woodcutting axe is good for off hand if you just want to duel wield axes and swing at dagger speeds. More specifically it's the only option and also not good. But it does let you do it.
The ebony swords is a simple half-blade, dont really have edge at all, especially one-handed. He made a ranked video with swords too, and ebony is way down the list.
Axes looking bulky at the end is not bad, It is actually the point. Axes job is not cutting like swords but chopping and for that the heavier the blade the better. That is the point. Center of the mass should be at the blade for stronger chop.
The bottom of the blades of the Daedric axe/battleaxe where they curve back past the hilt look really cool, in my opinion--but now that you point it out, the pointy bits look like they're meant to be useful, but their location makes it so they aren't. Having something useful in a place you can't use it for its purpose is kind of dumb. If you care about that kind of thing. Which I don't. So, whatevs.

Deadric battle axe: edgy guitar without the strings
Really? I thought the ebony battle axe fell for the guitar category. I mean have you seen how big that axe is

Fun fact bout the headsmans axe, is that it actually has a longer reach than other battleaxes
The headsman's axe being so low is an absolute crime
The dawnguard axe disrespect is unreal. It looks smooth, the colours are bright and have a nice contrast to them, the carving looks great. Top tier design

Woodcutter's axe deserves more respect, pair it with a town guard shield and you become a viking.
Axes always have the most brutal vibe to them. I wish this game had a lot more unique war - and battle axes
Yes. And Bethesda could also have done better animations and impact reactions, more specific to axes, and other killmoves as well.
@@El_Gomes Oh yes

If the glass ba was double sided I think I’d like it more
