That last number on you scale is ounces. So the Helo is reading 9lb 8oz, making it 9.5lbs.
Good review guys , I just purchased the Helo hunt ready system . To me it's the way to go for the more mobile style of hunting, it will probably be much easier than transporting a climber , and can fit on just about any tree . Gone are the days of finding the perfect tree where you're seeing the best deer sign , just hang it and hunt.

Was looking for a made in USA public land legal stand I could afford
Decided a LW Assault II was best bang for my $$$ but unfortunately LW stopped making them and I was having difficulty finding one to buy
Stumbled onto a guy selling two LNIB LW Assault II stands at a hunting forum I belonged to and bought both they came complete with two hanging hook straps and the new bat wing bracket.
Great stands very very happy with them
lift weights and it wont matter. lol i install my muddy boss and its 19 lb., i do it w one hand no problem but i can also bench 400 lb. if i had any of these stands i would be walking in high cotton. great vid by the way, i plan on getting the Novix Helo.
Once I get to my top stick. My right leg is on the 2nd step. I rest the stand on my knee, then tighten it to the tree. Works great for me. That way you’re not fighting the weight of the stand holding it up against the tree

Great review guys. One thing I noticed in my research, all 3 stands on their websites say seat height is 21", but watching your video that XOP seat height is noticeably higher. Not just a thicker pad. That explains why I can't get comfortable in mine. One question I have about the Novix, with the width being 16.5" vs 19 on the LW Assault, is that noticeable for comfort and moving around vs the Assault?
Thanks for the feedback! And it’s noticeable yes but I personally like a smaller/lighter platform. Honestly the extra size isn’t even worth it unless you move around a lot. The smaller platform is better for staying mobile and hanging in certain trees with cover!

Great video guys. I just picked up the XOP. They are saying it’s a new 2021 model. Is this the same as the one you compared?

I’ve got a novix helo on the way but I’d probably been ok with the xop especially for the price but I’ve heard the xop seat is so high u try to sit on it and it puts your legs and feet to sleep judging by the video you can tell it’s quite a bit higher then the other 2 and I’m not just talking about the cushions
I dont know if im considered "tall" but im 6'2" with long legs and the extra seat height is better for my back, feet and legs.
I think, and i could be wrong here, that xop takes their weight without the seat pad OR the offset tree bracket.
Personally i think that's a little disingenuous but i am not looking to shave ounces and the price is nice
XOP makes a great stand!
First number is pounds, second number is ounces. 10 lbs 9 oz is actually 10.56 lbs. 9lbs 8 oz is 9.5 lbs.

Ive always used the hook strap for the LW.
Hang sticks put strap up first then grab stand and attach bow rope climb up hang on hook then put second strap around done. that way never have to hold stand and do strap!!!
3.5 wider is not close to the same 20 feet plus up!!!!
