I needed this a while ago lol😂 btw for the second phase this is when Ms Chalice is very helpful. With her invisibility dash, she can dodge both the giant ball and gnomes at the same time. And when the second phase starts, when the first puppet comes up, I highly recommend using your super and I recommend super lll it’s very useful. And for the weapons, I don’t remember 1 of the 2 shots u used but I do remember using twist up surprisingly. It’s useful for part of the first and second phase. The other weapon is either crackshot or spread or roundabout but most likely crackshot

Great S-Rank video as usual! I personally use Miss. Chalice, crackshot, twist-up, and shield pal. Love having those 5 hit points when u get your super. I must say though after seeing you using Roundabout and flooding the screen with damage, I'm definitely going to try that next time! Because Twist-up is such a weird angle you need to shoot sometimes, but it was working decent for me with the puppets. Also I really liked your tip on using the crackshot planet to pick off gnomes that are flying around during the puppet phase! I also like using Chalice for those super high parrys that are sometimes too high for Cuphead/Mug during the first phase. She's also very useful on the last phase for her double jump when the landings are farther apart. Cant wait to try some of your techniques this weekend when I play!
I believe Ms. Chalice definitely shines during Glumstone's fight. Maybe even one of her best fights in my opinion! Twist Up works surprisingly well during the Puppet phase and there are many other weapons and combinations that work just as well. Glumstone is a pretty well designed fight for those reasons.

I had an easy time using the tornado gun. And no, I'm not being edge here, this weapon IS rubbish, but for this specific phase it's excellent, simply because it kills the gnomes that come from above, it's the perfect counter, so you only need to worry about the that comes from below and the ball.

I first tried A+ ranked glumstone
This took me SO long because the 2nd phase
Fun fact if you stand on the right edge of the fourth pillar and the beat attack happens then the bear won’t hit you and you don’t have to risk getting hit at the bottom. (You have to be really really close to falling or else it won’t work)
Yeah, I did mention that in the video actually. Stumbled across it by accident, but hey, when you go to S Rank a boss 30+ times just to get good footage, you tend to find some neat tricks 😁

In all of fiction I have only known gnomes to be either jerks or weirdos. Between the swarming and bodily presence I think cuphead gnomes check both boxes.

I am like 99% most shots do more damage with 5 ex moves then 1 super.
Depends on the EX and how many times you hit, but yeah you're right!
