- Your opinion about God whether He exists or not largely depends on the 9th house factors in your horoscope. This is based on extensive research in this field of Astrology. The 9th house is related to God, belief systems, religion, father, higher learning, fortune, good habits etc etc. However if the 9th house is afflicted the reverse of this happens. When we say affliction of 9th house what we mean is the 9th house is influenced by natural malefic, the 9th house lord is influenced by natural malefic grahas. The most challenging planet among the malefic planet is of course RAHU the opposite of Jupiter. Jupiter is the natural karaka of the 9th house of knowledge or wisdom and Rahu represents ignorance and most the negative qualities that lead us to sin. I have the sun moon and mars in the 9th house in the sign of cancer.. My father past a way when I was 10. Born in a muslim religious strict family in saudi of 11 siblings I was the youngest and rebilious with a lots of un answered questions about god and prayers. Always felt that people was preforming prayers with no feelings to it. That bothered my for years but was forced to perform along as I wasnt aware of my own feelings. Now that I'm 36 married with a daughter I grew certain and aware of the divine via many mirclious like experiences, internally and externally. Along our pilgrimage of life we might take turns, ups and downs to find god somewhere. Untill we grow astonished when one experience god. We in all form of religions share the same journey. And ones we get to see beyond the form. We start to see god everywhere.

Initially, when the horoscope was cast by an Astrologer according to Vakkiya panchangam, he said he has placed Jupiter in her 10th house because there was a Jupiter transit later in the same day she was born. However, she would pray with us at home, joins us on Fridays to go to the Temple. Ever since 2016 she gradually started losing faith in God & her Father. Now she has stopped going to the temple or praying at home. She said that she has lost faith in idol worshipping. The way you have explained about the 9th house is perfect. I have observed that if the ninth house is afflicted by Rahu Ketu or debilitated Kuja, they are atheist. I have a horoscope with Meena Lagna and 9th is occupied by Saturn having Sun's 7th aspect are very religious.

If ninth Lord is in 9th and afflicted by rahu, it makes person to believe in God but his belief is more driven by the sense of guilt or transactional. These are the people who make deals with God saying I will give you saree, fruit etc if you solve my problems
When there is no affliction on ninth house then the placement of ninth Lord and it's conjunction or dristi from other planets becomes important
If ninth Lord is very good, usually a person gets divine Grace or Guru
I am Cancer asc. Lagna lord moon in 9th house (pisces) aspected by 9th lord Jupiter (scorpio). I think the affliction to 9th house is due to saturn and sun aspecting the 9th lord (from taurus). Because of that I was non believer for many years until moon maha dasa - Jupiter antardasa. Now I truly understand what Spirituality is all about and have great respect for all the teachers helping me gain the spiritual knowledge. I also have ketu in lagna. May be it too contributed to me turning to Spirituality.

Most Honorable Sir, I thank you for these pointings. I had been taught I was Taurus. Never knew anything about Vedic Astrology and as Christians we were taught it is a sin to follow the stars. I have been on a long "Job" from the Bible spiritual journey which eventually lead me to Vedic Astrology as opposed to Western/Tropical. I find I am actually an Aries Sun, Moon, Rahu, Ascension and Mars in Sagittarius- the 9th House and Saturn in Libra. I am a Lawyer in the United States, however, I was tricked by unscrupulous people and my license is suspended. I got very angry at God and blamed God. I also blamed God for not bringing my father back to me.
I have always been a rebel and rebellious. My father/mother split up when I was 5. Both parents deeply religious both Pentecostal/Evangelicals ministers. I rejected their notion of a mean judgmental father/God.
My life went down the toilet 12 years ago. I lost everything I'd worked for. I do not believe in Jesus Christ. On Sunday, Easter 2020, the Evangelicals are so afraid of God, that they will risk their lives this weekend and attend church in spite of the Stay At home order. Their pastors, like my parents are scaring them about the Rapture/Apocalypse and if they don't come to church God will punish them or they will be left behind when Jesus returns.

It is time to prove that more important than God and religion is the fact that we have to take care of ourselves. As it is said, God helps those who help themselves. Jyotish is unclear science, far from accuracy, it toys between karma and dharma n fate. The universe exists and then it doesn't, between space n time. Hello sir, my 9th house has rahu, sun and mercury in Capricorn, always my marriage is interrupted(goes away by them or on them) by girls/women who lost fathers in early age. Including my mother who lost her father in early teens( ketu in her 9th house) dint do what needs to be done when I got my guy and when she need to talk to their family. Sir what is this this bad of mine karma sir? What remedy can I do? Also 8th house had Mars Saturn and Venus with aspecting Jupiter in 2nd.

I have Rahu in the 9th house and I have an very unorthodox approach to spirituality which could be considered somewhat rebellious, but I feel it’s taken me closer to god as previously I was atheist. namaste dilip ji. in my case 9th lord venus is exalted, vargottam and yogakaraka. conjunct sun and debilitated mercury. rahu sits alone in 9th house libra. i lost my mother when i was 14 and have never got along with my father either. yes i did lose my faith in organised religion but it led to me finding spirituality. how do i interpret rahu in my chart? rahu ketu are also vargottam.
I'm a staunch beliver in God. I have rahu in 9th house in meena aspected by moon. I have ego problems with my father even though I love him. I think God loves me more than I do. In rahu dasa I was in search of God desperately and tried to understand other religions . I'm a Hindu but I say christian prayers and pray 5 times like muslims. When guru dada came I got a guru with deep knowledge in Vedas and it gives me happiness in listening to him. My turning point in my life was that. I LOVE GOD. I totally depend on Him and He has done miracles in my life. Even in sati sate 7 1/2 years of saturn period He looked after me as His child.

Lone mercury was even better. But still it's good to have one planet in same houses in rasi and navamsa chart. It's called vargothamam. It means mercury is strong. If your lagna lord is Mercury, venus or shani then it's very good to you. Also, if mercury is positioned in its own sign, exaltation sign or friendly sign, it's even more good. Also, if mercury is looked by Jupiter, it's even more good. You should stack up like this.

Krishna never said accept me or do as say or else I will throw you in hell. Even at the end of Gita he humbly says all this is my opinion and you can do whatever you want.
It says in Bible that god of Bible is a jealous god.
Krishna in Gita says neither is he envious and jealous of any one nor does he expect anything.
Finally I would like end with this. Not all religions are equal or spiritual. Looking at a religion and considering it sacred without fully understanding it is not humility or humbleness. Its pure ignorance/agyana.

I am agree with you to some extent. Actually I don't have much knowledge about religion. You used the word empathy with dharma, I think that should be all.
We should never insult any religion without fully knowing it. Allah n Jesus Christ are merciful n forgiving also. They can never say to kill anyone or convert anyone.
It's we, the people misinterpret everything. Even in Hinduism we kill goat in the name of godess Durga n Kali. Cast system is the worst scar of Hinduism. Though it was not there in Vedas. In Vedas the division of people were according to the professional ability. We do idol worship without understanding or knowing why. We Offer gold money food to the God himself who is the creator of the universe. Human beings need those, not the idol of God. God is within us n everywhere.
Even in Islam, qurbani is done on the basis of a dream. Allah said to sacrifice but for what, not for killing necessary. Sacrificing may also mean Allah ke sharan me rahna, know more about Allah n educate people like a Moulana does.
So we need to be changed, rethink n understand what is humanity. That should be enough.
Pride can never be a satvik Guna. Pride actually produces anger in the long run n kills intelligence.
Regarding invaders, we should think of peace n can discuss why they want to invade. We should understand the reason behind it from the base. A more humanitarian approach can solve any problem n will carry a good message for rest of the world. Cause an eye for an eye makes the whole nation blind.
After you told about Bhagwat Gita, I just bought a popular best selling Bhagwat Gita version.
While reading the book I found somehow the book is not real one n it is designed to misguide people n to convert the people of other religion into Hinduism. This is absolutely wrong n should be stopped somehow.
No one is above law of karma and this book is just telling the opposite. Thus sins will be more in the society unless n until people understand the law of karma n the karma n bhagya cycle of life.
Also in that Bhagwat Gita Krishna is encouraging Arjuna to kill people. How to justify this, I don't really understand.
Krishna is asking Arjuna to do your duty,as war is dharma of Kshatriya,he asks everybody to follow dharma,one should not follow para dharma,ie another's dharma,if you read Bhagavadgeeta u understand clearly the concept of god ,he is omni present in everything,vibhuti pada,in every living and non living thing god is present.Infact hinduism encourages to idol worship because everybody can't visualise god in everything we see,so hindus worship every thing ie.a tree,bird,animal,snake etc,if we develop this u will see god in everything,ie advaita bhavana ,unity in diversity,the caste system which developed in later part of vedic period,according to work they do
