Hi Papp. Love the Mozzy sonata. If it looks like a stroganoff and smells like a stroganoff, then most likely it is a stroganoff.... with a splash of brandy. You could make that one yourself @ $24.00 kg and go heavy on the brandy and have more of it for what you paid. But this one was for the review. It does look pretty good and as a once in a while meal, it's a nice treat. Did you check the UBD of the others there. Might be worth keeping an eye on for YSA. I made a veggie Strogan-Hoff last night. I used a can of butter beans instead of the usual beef. It's very nice, but not as filling as the beef or chicken. A few good loud farts later on. Gotta love those beans 😜 Nice review. Take care now John 👍🤤😀
Chuckling away here mate. I will keep an eye on the UBDs, never seen these things on YSA though. Also I love the term 'Mozzy Sonata', like a composer had written a sonata about a mosquito!
That's more like it 👍.Looked absolutely delicious and if it was plated up with some fresh vegetables and a chunk of decent, crusty bread it would be a perfect meal after a hard day's fishing.Well done, another great review 😋.
I never knew the "call to lick" played by the ice-cream man on our estate was sonata in c by Mozart! Good old Mr Sanella....his son took over when I was about 12 though and was a complete dick, rude and a real let down to his dad. He once got a potato shoved up his exhaust pipe while his van was stood serving the last few customers he had. When he tried to set off and revved the engine furiously, after a short while the spud flew out and a load of black smoke....oh how us kids stood watching from across the road laughed! I digress.......
Hello there Papaaroni, loved the Mozart's twiddly bits n all x I bought chestnut mushrooms, and forgot all about them yet again. Making food a bit of a challenge lately x want quick easy tasty, hope you are well x God bless x
I think the key with these higher end products is not to look at them as a ready meal but more like a restaurant quality product that you've taken home.
Will be interested in this. This is available in my local "posh" farm shop, so assumed these were amazing? But perhaps not? / Well let me find out. Ahh sweet playing :) / Ok - well looks nice cooked. Phew, not too bad, I might try that. But at 4.95, I still that that makes my M&S curry in a tin choices pretty good value for "mass produced". / Cheers as always mate. / Mark
Two things come to mind here Papps. I'd like to know if they do a two person version, which from experience they often do because that isn't enough for me and the Mrs. Otherwise, and my second point, that's £11.90 for a main meal for two without the rice and veg,or mash and veg. We shop and grow some of our own and usually come in around £10 for two for two days meals for about £15 and we eat well, mixed mostly healthy.
Not sure regarding the two person action Chris as I don't look in that freezer for just me, but there's a fair chance I'd say :) Also as far as home grown, I do the same, can't beat the stuff for value and taste.
Ah yes looked mighty good that did Paps and i'm glad that this brand has finally come out with something that's really good, also is this the brand that you can get in Home Bargains? Pretty sure it may well be 🤔
I haven't seen these in Home Bargains Mr Atkinson, but I haven't been in one for a while. I found the first ones I had in Hardy's Farm Shop, and they seem to be spreading out to other shops rather speedily :)
All their stuff is expensive. I tried a lasagne once, it was ok but nothing special. The one from Walter Smiths is the nicest (after homemade of course). Jack's did an excellent beef in brandy [nicer than the Tesco version]. Nice bit of Wolfie!
Sadly this ones not for me Papp... It might taste pretty good... But as it was stated in another comment on here... Almost £6.00 for a 270g ready meal... Is absolutely ridiculous pal... I would need a huge pile of Mashed Potato to go with this tiny portion... As it's such a small amount of food... I can think of much cheaper and tastier food options to buy my friend... So even if i could find this product in-store... I certainly wouldn't be tempted into buying it... As i would much prefer something like a Ready Cooked Roast Chicken for that kind of money... But i still appreciate the review Papp... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺

Call to lick! That made me laugh John. The exhaust pipe thing reminds me of Beverly Hills Cop :)
You have inspired me to make mushroom stroganoff tomorrow night, I can taste it now, plenty of basmati rice with it!
I can taste yours now Louise :)

Can't beat a challenging twiddly bit Miss Dream, hope you find something quick, easy and tasty :)
@@Papparoniyou're the best x
Lovely sonata well played. It's a shame the stroganoff didn't match up...
Thank you Phil, I doubt any dish would match that sonata..

Good way of looking at them Frankie.
The Aldi Rigatoni...../ Mozart Bliss / is a 2 meal delight frozen bag of godliness.
Its a tubular pasta with cheese and pork bits in it!
Ok cheers Phuket, I'll look out for it..
I have been looking at 'educate yourself'. Many, many thanks my friend.
Mozart might like some Brandy and a dish of that lol.
He'd certainly take the brandy on!

Indeed they are well branded mate, but nothing special at all :)
They are a lovely quick alternative to ordinary micro meals. The pies in particular are superb
Ah ok, thanks for letting me know about the pies Sam, I may well get involved with one..
@@Papparoni hopefully they have all-butter pastry

I am glad that it was nice paps but no way i would spend that much for just 270G. A good mash with it would make it more substantial.
It really is up there with the Bighams etc eh Uncle. I have some Finest mash in my freezer, got it on yellow for 29p ;)

@Papparoni ah its the Chef's Cuisine brand from which you can get from Home Bargains that I got it confused with 😄
We're all human Mr Atkinson :)
All their stuff is expensive.

Nice bit of Wolfie!
Thanks for alerting me to the finer versions of this Val, and that sonata gives me goosebumps!
Very nice dear brother, we have similarities here in Africa. However fresh at market and not packaged. Kindest Regards.
I really like the sound of your market version my friend.

I get that mate, it is all the money, might as well chuck £5.95 at M&S and get more for your till :)
Where's Ludwig gone..!?
He kindly told Wolfie that he could have all of the stage today, as it was his composition :)
Nah it looked nice but I'd not buy it it's to expensive thanks paps great review 😊❤
Cheers M, you'd make a far better one for way less I'm sure :)
It needs to be good at nearly £6 a meal.
Indeed so Peter, and for just 270g.
I thought it said romp steak instead of rump steak lol 😆
Sarah!
@@Papparoni lol 😂
My son works for Cook, I'll let him know what you thought
Nice one mate, best not show him the Cook spaghetti bolognese one though!
@@PapparoniI can't promise that mate! 😁
:D
Rump is hit and miss imo
Same here Carl
