You should sell those straps,. I need some, two of my bolts popped and I have to take it off to fix it... not looking forward to it. The thought of doing singlehandedly kinda makes me wish I weren't single.
It seems for my Dakota it just isn't that simple. I've looked up everything online and just can't find a clear answer on how to take it off. Mine had some weird clamps on it that are just completely rusted together. I think those are what are holding it down.
Well done! Every other video I’ve watched people have made things over complicated. One guy drilled a hole in the roof of his shell and connected it to a winch and it spins around and around. What an idiot
Thinking of taking my hard shell off and buying a trifold style cover.
exactly
Straps are about 5 foot, but depending on your ceiling height you could need something different
that's neat and gives me hope on removing....I just need to figure out how to get it unfastened from my truck first
Now I just need to get a house and a huge shed/garage like that
Thats awesome. I thought the brand name kit was WAY too pricey for rope and pulleys.
Great Idea👍🏼

ARE recommends holding it by
supporting under the middle and not on the edges they said don't even lay it on the floor on the edges..

Do you leave it suspended by straps?
How long are the straps?
