    Thanks for your video, you made it look so easy especially explaining and doing it at the same time. After 2 years hesitant because of you I got the courage and did it. I used ratchet wrench and I slid it pulled it back to tail gate and put it on top of some stacked old tires temporarily, later finding a better spot.

    So why not just put tail gate back up and slide it straight back

      Jason phillips With 2 people you may be able to do it. One person it’s way too heavy.

    I took my cover off because it was eating the paint that off the sides of my truck..

    I prefer not to mess up my truck or the cap that look like you were trying to take it off while you were drunk why you put that on UA-cam is beyond me

      Where is your video showing how to do it better Terry? I'd love to see it as descriptive videos on how to remove it are rare.
