Thanks man I appreciate it... thanks for wathing!
So basically CapCut does not have a multicam feature! :-0 Well anyway, very nice video and cool to see how you worked around this limitation. Great video, thanks.
Thanks Jason… I suspect they will have a true multicam feature at some point… they are adding features all the time.
Great explanation! Thank you ✌️
Thanks for watching Joe!

That’s awesome! Thanks for watching.
nice video, helpful
Thanks for watching @colorsofbokeh!
Awesome video bro. Explained a lot and concepts not just how to do it with capcut desktop. Might try it again. On desktop been using wondershare and DaVinci resolve
Thanks man I appreciate it. I’ve never used Wondershare… I’ve used Davinci, Final Cut and Premiere. I feel like CapCut desktop is the best option for beginners and people who just want to pump out short form content… it’s so user friendly.
Thank you so much! new subscriber
Awesome… thanks for watching!
Good stuff, brother!
Thanks man... I appreciate it.
Great stuff man! I am working on an interview edit right now, I REALLY wish that this was out before I filmed. I only had one camera going, but will try and use multiple in the future
Also Adobe Premiere Pro makes editing interviews insanely easy. Working on a video for that right now. I think it’s quicker to edit a 45 min podcast in Premiere than it is a 8 minute UA-cam video haha.
ua-cam.com/video/s3VZ4Wx6K4w/v-deo.html 👈 @OKCrealtor... this is how I edit my interviews.
thanks. great explanation. question: when i edit, i might try by trail and error, transitions to different angels that eventually don't work. how do you recommened going back, by pressing "undo" or maybe it's possible to expand and shorten a track when editing instead of deleting it like you did?
What I typically do if I know Im going to be playing around with a project I will get the footage on the timeline, sync everything, maybe to a few color or audio adjustments and then save. Once saved go out out to your projects and duplicate the project. This way if you don't like the way the edit is going you can go back to your duplicate, duplicate it again of course and start where you left off initially instead of having to start over. Another thing you can do is slide cut sections of your clip up to another track and then make that track invisible, that way you can always slide them back down to a visible track which is quicker than extending and recutting clips. Hope that wasn't too confusing of an explanation.
Awesome tutorial, have yet to play with multiple camera angles, but this is going to be so helpful! Does it work better to fully mute audio on 2nd camera? (DLSR) or is it fine to let that mic pic up audio, too? I guess i'm just trying to avoid echo or tinny sound.
You have to record audio on both cameras. CapCut uses the audio from each cameras to sync the clips… then you remove the audio from the 2nd camera in CapCut. If you don’t record audio on the 2nd camera then you will have to visually try to sync the audio manually and this can be a pain.
@@realestateagentdevelopment Ah yes! Was also trying to avoid needing pinpoint accuracy on editing in that case lol. Thanks so much for the response! Cheers!
Nice video new sub
Awesome… thanks for watching!
Beautiful content quick question how many clap is required in beginning of the video to sync that audio
exactly what I needed. Nice feature with the b/w b-roll. 🥳 Don't worry about the attention span: I watched the whole video. Can you tell me: you shoot with a 2nd cell phone and then, transfer it to Mac or the 1st cell? How do you cope with the lots of content material?
I airdrop or move everything to my laptop (Mac) and then edit on CapCut. I batch record everything… this is a good video idea actually I think I will show my workflow 🤔 😆
Well, this is something I didn't need to know I needed. I only use my cell, but clearly need to up my game. I have a nice camera and it does have a video option. Never thought to set it up to get another angle. Its not blue tooth but I guess I could use the SD card and load. Can I use my IPAD which is easier to set up? Thanks for the tutorial.
The thing I hate about iPad is that it uses Capcut Mobile version instead of desktop… I believe you can still use your iPad to access the web version of CapCut though. I use a camera that does have blue tooth and I still use the SD card to transfer footage because it’s just faster haha.
Thanks for watching
love from PAKISTAN
Exactly what i been looking for!
Is it possible to do this in the mobile version for Android??
Im not sure if it is available on the mobile version but the desktop app is for Mac and PC. I typically like to edit on my laptop. Thanks for watching!
@@realestateagentdevelopment I agree. But you never know when you might want to get a quickie in while on the move.
Is there no multicam edit as in Final Cut or in Resolve?
Playing them side by side and then live switching seems easier than having to cut and delete.
There isn’t one in CapCut yet.
Whenever I search for multicam edits this seems to be the video that keeps popping up. But does anyone know how to do an actualy multi cam edit? Where you can see all camera angles at the same time and make cuts? Instead of having to go back and from on the timelline? Is it even possible in capcut?
I have another video explaining this in Premiere Pro. You cannot at this time do it in CapCut. Here is a link to my other video 👉🏽 ua-cam.com/video/s3VZ4Wx6K4w/v-deo.htmlsi=rGzg1vrFmtWsv6ny
not now😂😂😂
I need to know too! I have a method but it’s gotta be easier
Where do you find the audio you use for the background?
They have trending Audio built in to CapCut which is free… I use royalty free music from EpidemicSound.com so I can post the video anywhere without issues.
I am not finding how to have the two playheads. How did you get that?
If you don't see the yellow line then you can go right above the timeline on the right side and turn on "preview axis" or up arrow + P to turn that on. Thanks for watching.
@@realestateagentdevelopment Thank you SO much!!
Can you do this on the app as well?
I don’t think you can sync video using audio in the app. I’ve tried this before and there wasn’t a way to automatically do it but you can clap and manually do it.
But what if you cut the A roll? then everything scews up
Maybe just turned down the volume on your payroll instead of deleting the audio that way you can always re-sync the audio
I keep getting a message saying couldnt sync video to audio. I also dont know why i only have 1 cursor. I dont have the yellow cursor on my timeline like you. Just the white timeline marker.
For the yellow cursor go to the upper right of your timeline (so the middle of the screen on the right) and make sure you click "Turn on Preview Axis" mine was on by default but this is how you get this yellow line. As for as the syncing goes, did you record audio from both videos? If not it will not be able to sync... if you did and its still not working I recommend starting over with a new project and trying again.
@@realestateagentdevelopment Thank you so so much for your help!
But how would you actually edit? Which would mean both clips need a clip deleted and the gap removed while staying in sync. You would need to do that before you even get to deciding which cam should be shown at any given time yes???
Yes do a rough cut first… cut though both layers and take pieces out where you maybe made a mistake or you didn’t like and then on each cut is where you want to switch over to your B cam by keeping the top layer and deleting the rest to hide the jump cuts.
@@realestateagentdevelopment does it snap snap each clip together when you do that so it stays in sync?
Yes as long as you have the magnetic timeline active.
Bro you are so fucking clutch. I was doing the clap but syncing it manually EVERY time.
Haha thanks for watching!!!
Why me couldn't sync video to audio capcut ?
As long as you have audio on both clips you can sync. It uses the audio waveform to sync so if you don’t have audio on a clip then it won’t work.
@@realestateagentdevelopment Of course there is, I'm not that stupid, sir, I use multiple cameras, but the audio sources from my two cameras are different, camera 1 is Saramonic clip on, camera 2 uses the camera's internal audio, when synchronizing audio a notification appears in Capcut, can't synchronize video to audio, is it is there a solution?
How to do it on phone(capcut)
Phone CapCut does not offer an audio sync feature at this time.😔
So i tried those and my audio cuts out every time it transitions. What am I doing wrong with the audio
Tell me more… are you using built in transitions? I’ve not experienced this. I do know I run into issues when I attempt to use a transition on two stacked clips I will usually create a compound clip before adding the transition just to make sure the transition covers both layers.
@realestateagentdevelopment I'm trying to use two different camera angles from 2 recordings of the same interview, but one recording is slightly out of sync with the other in its audio I'm syncing the audio from both recordings but when I cut the videos yo transition from one camera to the other I lose audio from one when I mute it because it doesn't actually sync so when both audios are playing you can hear the echo from the delay.
I always recommend using only one Audio... If you run into this issue again attempt minor adjustments left or right on the top clip to try to get it better synced and then turn the volume down on one of the clips entirely so record multiple people on both tracks and use the higher quality Audio in your final video and delete the other audio.
So I'm guessing there's no real multicam function like Premiere Pro?
Not at this time but based on how crazy CapCut is evolving I bet they will have something more intuitive than the Multi-cam function inside Premiere Pro at some point.
@@realestateagentdevelopment I'll have to wait until that happens since I edit an hour long podcast. I could see using capcut for reels though.
I know DaVinci Resolve Free version also has a mult-cam editor. I edit my podcasts on Premiere Pro as well.
I thought you could do this with one camera? Well, i am pretty sure you can
You can make a video with one camera… you can’t perfectly sync two angles with one camera. If you have only one camera you will have only one angle. That being said I’ve seen videos of people reciting the same script twice using one camera and then editing them together… that is a lot more work and you wouldn’t be syncing anything because you can never say it exactly the same twice.
