You could theoretically screen record a YT video and seperate the audio in capcut, maybe?
@@The-Smoking-Cat You can’t use these sound effects without purchasing them or your videos will be taken down from UA-cam for copyright, so we wouldn’t suggest stealing them.

I got to give Cap cut credit. They've done an amazing job with upscaling their video editing software. Good for them.
Honestly we were shocked at how good it was. We really weren’t expecting that at all going into it, but we’re actually going to be bringing this into the mix to use on some of our own stuff, and we’re very picky. Haha.

@@markshirley01 Yeah, definitely. It's just so much easier and has incredible features. We use Premiere Pro, and we still started using CapCut for a good amount of our projects. It's crazy.

@@markshirley01 FCP got nothing on Capcut. Premiere too. I use FCP too but as a beginner I was looking to buy thousands of $ worth of plugins AND learn Motion too. Capcut is giving it all to me for free! Also making it 100 times faster to edit.
As a heavy premier pro, AE user I changed to CapCut instantly because of how user friendly it is and everything you need from music, sound fx, etc is all there. Makes my workflow extremely fast and efficient. Great tutorial!

you should not mention "Free" while clicking or using the pro Feature.
The app is free, but there are both free and Pro features. You can do an insane amount with just the free features, but we think upgrading to Pro is definitely worth it, especially considering how inexpensive it is.
The free version has got all the features needed to make amazing looking videos. It just requires your imagination.

Yeah, we were actually blown away. We would have been happy with it if it could just do half of what it can. It’s pretty amazing.
Best video on Capcut I've found! Also damn, Capcut is kinda scary the way it understands video similar to a human. Finally the dinosaur video apps got something to worry about. Making it free was the weird flex, but very appreciated. And this is the company that made Tik Tok. I'm officially in a love-hate relationship now.

If the same options doesn't pop on your end, make sure that you're using the stable version of CapCut and not a Beta one.

@@FILMCRUX Sorry for the late response, I had tried it before.. The pro options did pop once using a stable version and not a beta. Now I have tried again, today, and the Pro options didn't even pop on the stable version installed on a VM, from zero. Weird.

Capcut is just unbelievable, I almost done with my first video with the software and as a rookie creator I am just astonished by the results.
I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro but unfortunately my laptop keeps crashing hence I couldn't do much with video editing.
But with Capcut, it's just unbelievable, it's insane what you can do with it.
It really is! We were honestly surprised by how much it could do, and they keep adding new stuff all the time, so we may have to do another video of tricks with it soon.

I can't find the Noise reduction or image enhancement option :( Do you use the Pro version of Capcut? Did the tools appear in the editor until you paid for the pro version?
Yes, you have to use the Pro version for those features, and things like removing video flickers which is cool. When you get it, they should all be accessible for you. Hope that helps!

FCP user here, CapCut looks really good, powerful useful features (and fun!) also seems to have similar feel to fcp so I’m def gonna have a go with it.

this is a super helpful demo of all the features in capcut, but it should be noted that some features in this are in the pro subscription tier, and aren't "Free" as is stated in the beginning of the vid. otherwise this is super valuable demo! thanks for posting

@@sirf4ce These programs always have changing features and pricing, so that’s not the intention. The app is free, even if some of the features are pro, which are inexpensive as well. And you don’t need any of the Pro features to make something amazing. All the free stuff alone is incredible.
It's worth mentioning that CapCut is also different on Mac and Win10. Win10 seems to be lacking compared to Mac.@@FILMCRUX

This is a great video and I have been using Capcut since I began editing for UA-cam but crucially some of the tips you mention are definitely not free as you click the Pro Version. I really appreciate your video but a bit of clarity is fair.

Bro is it possible to manually clone subjects? like Capcut provides an auto cut out option, but that isn't perfect all the time. Sometimes it will also mask out the background portions, so is it possible to tweak the auto cut outs or is there an option to do all that manually?
Yes, definitely! Just go up to ‘Video’, and then ‘Cutout’, then select ‘Customized’. You can then select a brush, a brush size, or erasers, start selecting the area you want to cut out, and then click ‘Apply’. That’s it! Hope that helps!

Great quick synopsis of CapCut. Do you know if the voice/sound features in CapCuts PC software can replicate the the cinematic - echo like VOICE effect found in this video motivational video ua-cam.com/video/g6i8hrm4gEM/v-deo.html? Not the background music, just the unique sound effect used on the speaking part of the video. I'm looking for low cost or free software that has that voice editing feature and I'm not having any luck so thought I'd ask. 🙂
Thanks for the kind words! It sounds like it’s just some reverb. CapCut does have a lot of cool, built-in voice effects, so it should be able to get something like that for you. Additionally, basically any audio program has reverb. If you have a Mac, they come with GarageBand for free, and you can add the reverb with that, then just pull it into your video editor like CapCut.
Can you edit video using CapCut on your phone?
Also, if you use their browser bases version, will it work on an older, slower laptop? I'm maxed out with my current computer (which I won't be replacing for another 6 months) but would like to start using the platform right now.

Yes, of course. CapCut was for mobile first. Also, you should be able to run the browser-based version on your computer. It depends more on your internet connection than your computer’s capabilities in many ways. It’s free though, so just try it out. Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, let us know!

I'm sorry but in my desktop version I don't have neither "Noise reduction" nor "Image Enhancement" :( On your screen I see that these options are available only in Pro version. But I don't see any "Upgrade to Pro" tab on CapCut website.
Do you see the 'Upgrade to Pro' button on the CapCut desktop app? We just downloaded the desktop app to our computer and that works perfectly for us.

How do I upgrade to a pro version ? Its not the first time I see slight difference. For example: 4:34 U got the scissor tool with a "pro" tag. I aint got that. And when I google abt it I just see some cracked versions but nothing about pro
Appreciate the kind words! When you open up the desktop version, right there on the landing screen before you make a project, you should see the option to upgrade to Pro. Just click it, sign up, and you’re good to go. I hope that helps!
@@FILMCRUX I'm on the latest 2.9.0. desktop version for PC. There is no Join Pro or Upgrade to Pro on the start screen as well as no Pro effects and other Pro features (such as Noise Reduction or Image Enhancement). I don't understand :(

Hey guys, could anyone help me? I downloaded CapCut to start my editing journey, but it has different UI than this in the video. Could anyone tell me what is going on? I do not have VIdeo--->Basics--->"Cutout" options, but only "Background removal" or i can't set up Layers if i want to stack couple things up. Someone told me before that it's difference between Mac's CapCut and Windows 10. Any ideas? Should i switch or is it still okay?
Yeah, it could be the difference between CapCut on Mac and Windows, although they both generally do the same thing. They also frequently update the app, so the newer versions may look different, and have a lot more features added (and some removed). As for whether you should switch to Mac, we personally use Apple products for everything, and we find it generally better, but either works, so just use whatever works best for you

I wonder why no UA-camr talking about Capcut mentions the fact that a lot of the cool features they show are behind a rather expensive paywall... I mean, this is Adobe-level price!
