Damn that thing sounds awesome.
The F4U was my all time favorite aircraft of the era. I had the rare opportunity to see one up close at an event a few years ago near my town. Magnificent to say the least.
Absolutely Love That Moki Engine!
That moki 400cc makes the most amazing and mean sound I have ever heard in an rc plane! Corsairs ROCK!
Really screaming like real! I have serviced the real things at the 1941 Airshow in Geneseo NY and I cannot tell the difference between RC and real aircraft. Awesome giant scale Corsair looks close to real and flies like the real thing. Nicely done!
Whoa! The cockpit looks like it comes from an American cropduster.
Coming in HOT! Great flying! The skill of these pilots is amazing. I have done this and I am a rank amature compared to these guys. It is like comparing a beginning driver to a race car driver. Super nice F4U, good job.
My grandma....What a big canopy you have!
Watching those shots of the model with only landscape behind for a long time really makes the model look super scale. It's actually kind of fun to look at it as if the plane is full scale and so is the landscape...so the mountains it's flying in are just impossibly huge.
Beautifully built, and flown plane. Sounded so good.
I’m usually not that impressed by RC stuff, but THIS is something! Radial RC engine, what a sound.. amazing RC plane!
You're not impress of rc stuff? LOL
OUTSTANDING!!!!! The craftsmanship, piloting, and sound of that beautiful radial are simply OUTSTANDING!!!! Thank you. 😎
Amazing! The thrill must be undescribable after investing so much time and money in that Corsair. I love these Moki radial engines!! I flew R/C back in the late 1970s when it seemed our Aeromasters were a huge investment. What fun we had too! Happy flying and I hope your model Corsair gives you many years of joy. I don't think I have what it takes to own and fly such a grand model airplane!
Love that airplane. It is so beautiful and the sound is to scale, as well. The Germanic (if you call the Swiss Germanic) people are the some of the best modelers in the world.
Beautiful plane... amazing flybys, sounds like the real thing..
i had the sound up to 9 on my audio system apox 75 watts on my stereo with video on my big screen i still have old sony amp w cv D-9s
Sweet Jesus that thing is pure music to my ears. About as close as it gets to the real thing and especially real sound of that big radial. Absolutely amazing! Great work!
i might be afraid to fly it i might just taxi it for a few hours
@@briannotafan3368 Oh hell yes, I doubt if I’d dare take it out of the shop lol! Just start it up from time to time to hear the music.
Man oh man, great everything, so authentic, right down to that radial sound! Love it terribly so! WHISPERING DEATH! Shades of the Black Sheep Squadron.
Henauder Titzauf ...haha...The Black Sheep Squadron! I use to watch that show nearly every night with my dad. Still one my favorites...and the best thing is, it’s been on quite a bit lately.
Whistling*
gorgeous aircraft....even though its canopy proportions are out of scale.
So
@@beaclaster Absolut Geil ...... !
It amazes me how real it sounds, gives me chills.
Beautiful plane.
Looks and sounds great. Good pilot skills. Whilst scrolling for another video it logged a "thumb down" by mistake. Def a good video so gave four thumbs up to compensate.
When scale is done so well that one could swear it was the real deal, you know you've done good. Sir, you've put together a marvelous machine. Keep up the excellent works.
Canopy looks cartoony. It's too big.
That is incredible! All those crazy flap mechanisms!
I don't know who was flying that Corsair, but they were really good on the sticks. Some of the best i've seen. Must have been at it for 20 years. I like the choice of strobes in the wing-tips, they were very visible in daylight as were the navigation red/green on wingtips as well. I'd give anything to know how to get a hold of those same brand LED lights or incandescent lights. Thanks for the post.
Not hard to fly loop patterns at all. Easy work. I was flying those in just 2 months' time.
A brilliant display of a wonderful model, what an amazing sound from that beast of a motor. A great project, very well done to you.
Absolutely beautiful plane and the flying area is just stunning.
Radial engines are totally amazing costly I know and I thank you very much to observe this artistry.
Funny the little rc is louder then the real deal, beautiful job on that model, seems europe loves there remote control more than us americans, always great videos.
Sounds fantastic.
Outstanding!
Love that large scale corsair and sound
Sehr schönes Flugzeug, toll geflogen, sehr schöner Sound 👌🏼.
Perfekt 👍🏼. Gruß aus 🇩🇪
Hermoso sonido de motor! Excelente video! Gracias
Good video with a 400cc Corsair RC wow thank you for your videos you got some good ones when it comes to
A warbird flying scale.
Beautiful aircraft with amazing sound!!!!
Awesome model, looks fantastic on the ground and in the air. Great clip.
Keep up the good work you're a good pilot and I appreciate you thank you very much
I had an eargasm. holy crap.
Awesome aircraft, from hobbiest,rc pilot, kabbalahist, John Robert Bruffett Junior USA American 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice Corsair good job on the build and the flight great detail looks like a real airplane👍👍
This is my favorite RC airplane. I first fell in love with the 55 years ago as a kid and I still love this plane today.
Overall awesome, but the grossly oversize canopy makes it look cartoonish.
It does look out of scale.
Obviously if you think that canopy is not to scale you have never flown an F4U.
It is out of scale and I have sat in a Goodyear FG-1D Corsair.
@@stevetobe4494 FG not an F4U. If you had ever FLOWN one the difference would be obvious.
@@bobcarter5205 Goodyear also built the F4U. So did Brewster. The canopy on this video is scaled a little too large.
Sounds like a six cylinder Chevy when started, on a cold morning. This is a super video, plane, thanks for sharing! Pappy Boydington would be so impressed and PROUD!
I LOVE the sound of that radial engine. Now go listen to the sounds of the unlimited racers at the Reno air races. Makes my hair stand up.
Thank You and from Switzerland merry Christmas.
Ergasmic sound....No joke
Love the sound of radial engine
Love the corsair f4u, and love the sound of radial engines.
Radial.
when that owner showed up and pulled his out, everyone knew his was the biggest and baddest. The Corsair is pretty cool too!!!
At 3:35 it ACTUALLY sounds like a SUPRA!!! ("Is that a SUPRA!?!?!")
Wow engine sound is so cool 😎 👍🏻👍🏻😅
I think the cool sound is generated by the prop mostly, but I might be wrong.
Pure ASMR am i right
F4U Corsair - the first WWII U.S. fighter to achieve 400 MPH in level flight! Problems with carrier landings led to it being replaced as the dominant carrier-based fighter by the Grumman F6F Hellcat. The Corsair's early deployment was to land-based squadrons of the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific. Corsairs were flown by the "Black Sheep" Squadron, led by Marine Major Gregory "Pappy" Boyington, in an area of the Solomon Islands called "The Slot"
need to put a go pro onboard please!
engine sounds amazing and smooth flying
Absolutely beautiful sound!
Beautiful.
*Let the Sunshine in...*
.
There are a great many comments regarding the canopy, most saying that it is too large for the scale. Although I don't claim to have the definitive answer, I do recall a discussion on this very subject in which it was stated that there was a variant of the F4U that actually had an enlarged canopy. I would love to see this matter illuminated further, as this is a beautiful model and I think that the folks building and flying them generally know their stuff.
Even if it turns out that it is too large, the sound of that Moki radial more than makes up for it!
Very nice 👍
sounds like a Beast.!!
Bro that radial is screaming!!!!!
I don't know what the engine costs, but it made the plane. There is nothing worse than a nice model with single cylinder engine. I'm old, and that's probably the best sounding piston fighter I've heard. Good job.
Absolutely amazing....
One of my favorite birds of all times!!!!
Beautiful Corsair!!!
For Wawa2 American fighters it is my absolute favorite ❤️ ❤️❤️ ! Just the sound alone would scare an enemy if it was pursuing them!
That plane screams when goes by!! Love it!
Quel plaisir pour les yeux et les oreilles !
When I was young I worked for an older fellow who flew Corsairs during the Second World War. Deaf as a stone, but the stories he had were amazing. Beautiful aircraft.
I wonder if the deafness was at least partially due to the awesome and iconic Pratt & Whitney R2800 engine...my dad crewed on A-26 Invaders in Korea, which had 2 R2800s. He said they were a pain in the ass to change sparkplugs on- 36 per engine- and that they were (expletive deleted) loud!
Nice plane. Canopy is out of scale.
Wish I had the place & money to build stuff like this. Nice!
Great plane love that Moki.
Best sounding propped model airplane I have ever heard congratulations
Great camera work
Beautiful. I allowed my self the luxury of envisioning USMC Maj Greg Boyington in the cockpit.
Gotta love those Moki's...
That is the reason why you dont fly electric models the sound of it was amazing sounded so real great flight
Very nice very cool plane
That whining sound as it flys past low is amazing.
How can we achieve that after noise ?
Is the prop? The exhaust style?
I would like my smaller single 85cc to corsair to achieve a similar whine as it passes.
Gorgeous plane, fix the canopy it detracts from an otherwise stunning model.
What's up with the wacko canopy? Why ruin such a beautiful airplane??
Is that Pappy Boyington at the stick? Beautiful plane!
Fantastic LARGE model, although thry were made with folding wings for the NAVY, they were very impractical, for carrier use, as the cockpit was so far back1 great WWII AIRCRAFT THOUGH,
CHRIO,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Time that sound gives me a rush every single time!!!👍🤘💕
This thing sounds so awesome sounds like one of the aerobatic planes like the extra 300 or Waco planes and the dhc1 super chipmunk
Beautiful plane. I'm puzzled by the size of the cockpit though.
Victor Hugo cockpit is perfect. It is to scale. Look up that particular model of corsair on google and compare.
@@charlesbishop7583 No it's not. The canopy/cockpit area is out of proportion with the rest of the plane. The canopy and "pilot" are too big.
charlenepyle -You don't know what you are talking about. Did you google it to see the comparison? It is exactly to scale.
@@charlesbishop7583 I've been looking at (and sitting in) REAL corsairs for almost 50 years.
charlenepyle -As a former aircraft mechanic, I'll bet the farm you haven't seen every model of F4U- Corsair that was produced. They were produced by many manufacturers and had many model designations. I'll make another bet that you are too lazy to google the F-4U to see all of the different models made.
Not only looks good but sounds good too
Love the sound of that engine @ idle you can hear the lope of the cam killer Aircraft!!!!! And love the slow barrel rolls nice job.
It sounds so GOOD
This plane sounds so bad ass
Awsome my favorite! Sweet engine!
Love the music🎵🎵🎵 brrrrrr 🎵🎵🎵but could you please tell the announcer to shut up 🤐 . LoL 😂 great plane
Amazing
i one heard the phrase THE SCREAMIN SOUND OF THE BIG WAR BIRD this is it!!!
edit i once
The sound is amazing, but the canopy/cockpit are way oversized for that scale... It's very strange as the rest of the detail seems spot on, especially the scale prop!
another corsair expert!
@@camgnilpe9300 He doesn't need to be a "corsair expert". He only needs to be not blind and not insane, unlike you.
Awesome sound
Beautiful Aircraft !!!
That is so freaking cool ! Great authentic paint job as well. Awesome.
Impressive but the size of the canopy ruins everything
Genial, in einer solchen Landschaft fliegen zu dürfen! Pilot Jean-Caude Buchs, wingspan Corsair 3,7 m, engine Moki 400 ccm, Gewicht 62 kg. Gruss, Markus
Be careful about over banking your Corsair. I saw you get very close to knife edge 90 degrees twice in that flight. That's a sure fire way to go home with a large bag of splinters. Use your rudder more to avoid the need for extreme banking in your turns. I am a licensed pilot with hundreds of hours flying vintage tailwheel aircraft so I know what I am talking about. Guy in Columbia Mississippi
The whistle of death................ love that sound
Great camera work and the model looks & sounds fantastic !
The maker of this video with this power in this corsair is the best pilot that flies is RC aircraft you're the best pilot I've ever seen fly RC aircraft and that's the Corsair lulubelle that was one of your videos I made that number one on RC flying and I just want you to know I'm still watching your videos
Where do these people find these planes? Or do they build em from scratch? Ever place I look doesn't have the folding wing version and is made of foam.
