Wow! What a machine! That is got to be one of the coolest rc planes on the planet. Excellent piloting as well. Thanks for sharing this awesome vid with us!
How can you tell? No one that has a RC Corsair knows how to make it make the iconic sound that no other plane can make. The Japs called it the (Whistling death) When the plane does the dive bomb maneuver like flying almost straight down and when it’s only a few hundred feet off the deck it levels out creating a lot of G force which it will go from a whistle to a moaning sound Pilots calls it a mechanical whistling sound and that’s why it’s called the Corsair, but no one ever makes the planes make that sound. Well there is one video on UA-cam that has a RC Corsair making that sound You won’t forget it if you ever hear it
That's the first Corsair that i've noticed with that paint colors and it's great, really does grow on you. Very impressive build with all the lights & automation! 👍
That weird foot shuffle half spin crossed over the tail plane that the helper demonstrated nearly stopped my heart, just weird. Gorgeous little bird! That radial alone is a work of art.
This was a joy to watch. I will never understand why there are viewers who actually enjoy "R/C Crash Videos" though. To watch a beautiful aircraft that has been painstakingly crafted with perfect detail, take to the sky, is amazing. To watch one fail and fall from the sky is not a pleasure to watch. But, that's just me.
Love the active trim tabs, it's rare in these days of the foam fruitbox's and ARF Kings culture to see that kind of attention to detail.....but NO DRIVER ?? A BIG hole like that needs a " Skipper " in it.
it doesn't have the stall strip on the right wing also it has a 250cc engine which is sorta amazing but still the original was a 2000 HP engine. With 250cc 1:1 it might have 1/8th of the HP of the original 1940 R2800 Double Wasp. Is it a 1/8th scale plane? And this engine has what, 5 cylinders instead of 18? Double-row radial? Cowl-mounted twin 30s to go with 2 wing-mounted 50s? No. It never had twin 50s even if you ignore the fastback. Maybe twin 20mms in the wing... not that authentic.
@@Slash7FPV well, you could put a non-pilot in it and fly it by remote-control ua-cam.com/video/aV_9XX9Zomk/v-deo.html (this is the 2nd of the same RC model) I saw one of these videos today, it was a F4-U RC plane with a 250cc air-cooled pushrod radial engine. At 18HP peak that would have been 1% of the 1800hp of the original R2800 Super Wasp in the original version of the F4-U. Why should the design not scale up enough to carry a 175 lb passenger for 5 minutes with say a 2G positive load limit and a 100mph top end? With an experienced RC pilot at the controls, that would be pretty cool entertainment...and they could always actually fly it from within the plane.
Yes wow, what a machine great flight enjoy a lot of hours and pocket money spent on the great Corsair for all your efforts the model has paid you back, look after her, she with look after you. Don't forget the cameraman, great job will be enjoyed by all throughout youtube.
*The Grand Passage Tomb.* The Newgrange monument is located in Ireland and was constructed over fifty-two-hundred years ago, it defines the winter solstice and celebrates a rebirth of the Sun. "Let the Sunshine In." Great plane, thank you.
I've seen this Corsair before in other videos, absolutely stunning. When you have one that looks and flies like the real thing, you have to be an exceptional pilot with lots of stick time. Great flyer, awesome piloting, best of luck fellas.
Really nice playing and I like how you guys have the Marines written on the bottom of it. Some of us refer to that as the grandfather to the a-10 warthog. What a Great plane. God bless fly safe don't chop anybody's head off with that prop 😁
So glad to see a proper prop. There is nothing worse than seeing an improper propeller, like a two bladed when it should be three or four. Beautiful bird.
In this livery, it should be a 4 bladed prop. This livery did not occur until 1955, and the three bladed F4U-1D had long since been retired. The CARF F4U-1D kit this plane was made from does not come with a 4 bladed prop and hub. I just know a little bit about Corsairs and three bladed props with this paint scheme is like nails on a chalk board to me. Had it been in the regular various blue paint schemes it would be acceptable. Additionally this paint scheme was only used when the F4U was being put out to pasture as basically an auxiliary training aircraft. The exact aircraft paint scheme used on this aircraft was for the few Corsairs assigned to Quantico in 1955. They were used to train FOs and Marine infantry officers in calling in close air support. They were basically training aids to teach forward observers or ground FACs on how to call in an airstrike. This paint scheme is like painting an aging F-4E Phantom in the livery of a target drone. This paint scheme is nothing near the Corsairs glory days of WWII Pacific campaigns or CAS missions over Korea.
Fantastic plane. Love the sound of those big radial engines.
I love all the moving parts was amazed that he made the front motor vents move that’s awesome good job!!
Wow! What a machine! That is got to be one of the coolest rc planes on the planet. Excellent piloting as well. Thanks for sharing this awesome vid with us!
That has to be the most realistic sounding F4U Corsair RC plane I've ever heard.
Just s Moki engine, they all sound amazing those engines.

That thing SOUNDS fantastic!
WOW LO MEJOR QUE HE VISTO EN AEROMODELISMO RADIOCONTROLADO
This makes me really happy, what a plane and pilot. Great, great, great!
A work of art, and skilled piloting.
That's the first Corsair that i've noticed with that paint colors and it's great, really does grow on you. Very impressive build with all the lights & automation! 👍
That's an ok color, but I believe it would be perfect in its navy blue. But all in all, it's an impressive machine
What is the color scheme?
I had an old Ziroli Corsair painted in that scheme more than 25 years ago... It's been used a lot through the years.
I'm speechless. There are now eight wonders of the world. Thank you for uploading this video.
That weird foot shuffle half spin crossed over the tail plane that the helper demonstrated nearly stopped my heart, just weird. Gorgeous little bird! That radial alone is a work of art.
09:50 - Holy crap. Machine guns. Amazing aircraft and piloting.
My favourite plane of all time!!!
You did a beautiful job building it!!!
It looks and sounds fantastic!!!
Bravo!!!!
The skill level required to create this masterpiece is off the charts.
And it sounds as good as it looks.

Amazing details,sound,beautifull build,flown..and filmed,love it !!
When the engine started, I was fully expecting blue smoke to billow out. That’s the only thing this plane was missing. Beautiful.
That would be so cool!
Wow, what a beautiful Corsair I ever seen. Love the gun fire Led
Love the sound of radial engines!
Outstanding workmanship...he is an artist. Great job, great flying...thanks for the vid

Indeed, not sure if it was an oversight or intentional but I am sure it will be received pilot for further flights
It’s almost big enough to get and fly it
it doesn't have the stall strip on the right wing

not that authentic.
yeah, he really should do FPV piloting this beautiful beast through a dummys eyes! ;-)

That is one sexy RC plane. So nice to see scale like that, lights looked great at a dusk landing. Well done for the build, love it.
WOW , WOW and WOW ! ♥
Everything perfect .
Thanks for sharing !
Amazing in all respects, especially the craftmanship, very scale flight and sound.
Awesome rc plane, it's looks so real dude. Love the engine sound when it's roaring. So cool 👍

What a beautiful aircraft .. The attention to detail amazing ..I give the F4 a score of "10:"
Rivet detail is spectacular!

Wow! Love sound of that radial!
Rivets and those small mask painted words, detail is amazing!
Excellent work on the build AND a scale builder who can actually fly competently.
Amazing! Great sound as well.
That is very COOL nicely done.
Ok I think this probably the best looking rc plane I’ve seen
Thats actually incredible, well done
That sound is amazing at any scale...👍👍👍
I love the post- war livery on this bird!
Bravo, my favorite era warplane
Bombastic Best!!! Aces High!!!
*The Grand Passage Tomb.*
The Newgrange monument is located in Ireland and was constructed over fifty-two-hundred years ago, it defines the winter solstice and celebrates a rebirth of the Sun.
"Let the Sunshine In."
Great plane, thank you.
Simply awesome looking.
I've been flying scale model planes for years, but that was jaw-dropping 😲😲😲 Bravo!!!!
If I built something that detailed, I'd almost be too afraid to fly it.
Beautiful airplane!!!!!!
impressionnant de réalisme . bravo et merci
Nice to see it operated to a scale like speed, most of the radial powered models I've seen get run like they're trying to break the sound barrier.
Yes indeed!
It should be at the Smithsonian,it's the airplane shrunk to size.
A true work of art. Well done old man
Yea thats the perfekt word... art.. IT's a flying dream😍
That thing sounds so cool !
Spanish, from Spain modelers... Amazing plane...

Holy crap that is very nice sounds good also
great to see the emotion
Incredible build.. congratulations !!
Wow, amazing and he retracted the gear on the maiden flight!
Beautiful! My Dad had a Stearman and he couldn’t understand why I thought that the Corsair F4U was one of the most beautiful airplanes to fly.
That rivet detail s impressive. Great flight thanks for sharing
Easily the best large scale Corsair I've seen. It is miles beyond the little 40-sized Dynaflite Fun-Scale Corsair I flew as a kid!
Amazing ! Congratulations !
Very nice operational model.
Second comment cause I had to. This is the best scale RC plane Ive ever seen.
Very well done.
Heavens! The rivets are sanded off and the paint has dried in the holes!
My favorite war bird great work 😊
What a wonderful plane. I would pay real money to fly a real one or this one! Semper Fi!
hats off to you my good sir 👏
Really nice playing and I like how you guys have the Marines written on the bottom of it. Some of us refer to that as the grandfather to the a-10 warthog. What a Great plane. God bless fly safe don't chop anybody's head off with that prop 😁

Awesome detail job on the plane . The only thing missing is the famous whistle on the dive
Great content, love these scale subjects, beautiful made and flown, very scale. 👍
Just beautiful!👍👍👍👍👍
Wow... Just Wow... I feel sad for the 20 people would didn't like this video. What an amazing aircraft.
Never seen guns before. Pretty cool
Nicely done!
Absolutely beautiful!
Nice flying!
Well flown sir & nice to see respect for the engine with moderate throttle use.

Amazing attention to detail!
One of my all time favorite WWII fighters
He flys like a scale pilot should.
Well done.
Outstanding
Nice, never in my life seen r/c with nav lights!
