- Metformin is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes. It lowers your blood sugar levels by improving the way your body handles insulin.
But in recent years, interest has grown regarding its potential to prevent or treat a variety of other conditions, including aging. Yes, aging!
Although the science is still unclear, the Targeting Aging with Metformin (TAME) study - aims to discover if Metformin can create positive changes in the way a body ages.
Here’s hoping we learn more about it soon.

Brad Stanfield has made a few videos covering the research on metformin and its side effects. He advises to avoid it
Metformin is commonly used for polycystic ovarian syndrom(PCOS). Side effects include constant diarrhea and more regular periods.
Gf uses for pcos and worked very well
Of course because PCOS is related to blood sugar irregulations
And Insulin Resistance

I thought berberine was supposed to be the natural wonder drug that did all these things and I was all for it till I found my digestive tract painfully irritated. Taking a pause (after only a few days) and maybe try again later.

One thing I didn’t like about metformin it made me feel uneasy in the stomach. Even with food :/ just my experience

Last we knew metaformin was related to an increased risk of cancer. The science is stil out on it. It seems irresponsible to put up unsubstantiated studies on a channel which many people go to for health advice.
