I loved how they brought back my boy Lewis from Meet the Robinsons (And he was getting emotional when Belle and the Beast were singing and Wilbur was there too along with Milo Thatch and Friends, Jim Hawkins, Kenai and Koda, Pocahontas, Mowgli and Baloo, John Henry, Winston from Feast, Quasimodo, Hercules and others) (You know this short almost feels like the closest we'll ever get to a House of Mouse successor don't you agree?)
@@queenesther09 I would love that so that way we get more Interactions with everyone from the Disney Animated Canon (Including the Underrated Animated Disney Movies (Like Robin Hood, The Sword in the Stone, Sleeping Beauty, Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur (2000), Pocahontas, Emperor's New Groove, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company, The Fox and the Hound, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Tarzan, The Black Cauldron, Treasure Planet, Atlantis the Lost Empire, Brother Bear even Meet the Robinsons and Bolt)
That elderly gentleman at the beginning was Burny Mattinson. Started work at Disney in the 1950s as an inbetweener on Lady and The Tramp. His last two films were Strange World and Wish. Passed away back in February. He directed the classic Mickey's Christmas Carol and The Great Mouse Detective.
Bless the man. He devoted nearly his whole life to this and earned his title of Disney Legend a hundred times over. Sad as it is that he passed, I'm so glad this was dedicated to him. If anyone deserved something this special dedicated in their memory, he did.
It’s been said that the use of Robin Williams’ unused voice recordings was used with permission from his estate. However, it meant his daughter Zelda in particular had a say in this since she was pretty vocal about her dad’s voice being used in any project. On a side note, it’s heartwarming to see Disney heroes and villains putting aside their differences to make this 100th anniversary special. Walt would’ve loved it.
The most surprising ones for me were Spike the Bee, Peter and the Wolf characters, the Trees, Suzie the blue car, the Reluctant Dragon, Johnny Fedora, Pecos Bill, Ichabod, and the Ugly Duckling (all from the classic decades)
This short was nothing short of amazing and I’ll admit that scene with Mickey and Walt almost made me cry especially when feed the birds playing in the background
Seriously why are folks questioning “why is he a Beast again?” Come on I mean which do you prefer and memorized best? Him as a Beast or as a human? ^^’
This is possibly the greatest short film I've seen in years. One thing is that I think that the filmmakers overlooked the characters from the "Adventures in Music" cartoons. Of course, I'm talking about Professor Owl, Bertie Birdbrain, and all the bird students that were also featured in Disney's Sing-Along Songs series. To me, that is quite a loss, especially since that video series introduced me to all of the studio's fantastic feature films, shorts, and TV shows, both either well-known or more obscure. Let's not forget the theme parks either, whose soundtracks have always been as infectious as the films themselves. In spite of that, happy 100th anniversary to my favorite company of all time. As a real Disney fan, it has truly molded me to be the person that I am today. May you continue to make dreams come true.
Burny Mattinson at the start... how fitting for a true Disney Legend to take part in creating this beautiful short. Sad as it is that he passed not long after, I'm so glad he was able to take part in this and have it dedicated to him. He devoted nearly his whole life to that studio, and if anyone deserved to have something this special dedicated in their memory, he did. I would bet money that Walt was one of the first to meet him at the gate, shook his hand and said "Great work, son." 🥹
Hello 👋 David here 😊As a Disney, Disneyland fan and collector for over fifty years I loved your excitement and energy for Disney! Looks like the next generation of Disney fans are in great hands! Have a magical day!😎
I'm jealous because in France, they didn't use the voice of Roger Carel, who died three years ago, for the characters he voiced. Only some of them has a line in it (Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, the Cheshire Cat, Kaa and Jiminy Cricket) but the list of all the Disney characters he voiced is very long. ua-cam.com/video/LxxqBL1rSuQ/v-deo.htmlsi=t-8JOPVq1emgUnuN
Now all that was needed in this short is a spiky haired kid with a giant key serving as a sort of Disney security guard (a la Night at the Museum) with a checklist in hand keeping track of all the characters present for this 100th anniversary celebration!
the older guy (I cant remember his name) is the longest serving animator at Disney he was employed there 70 years and died shortly before this came out. I think the girl was just a general actress.
They forgot merida and giselle But merida is from the other studio and is a pixar disney princess and giselle is not a disney princess Then they forgot melody from ariel 2 The sequel
And they're not including Disney sequels (except for The Rescuers Down Under, Fantasia 2000, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen II) those Disney sequels that were released direct to video aren't included.
Since there are characters from “Pete’s dragon”, “Mary Poppins”, and “Bedknobs & Broomsticks”. I wish there were characters from “So dear to my heart”,” song of the south” and “Enchanted”too.🥲

Yeah
I'd watch a two hour film of nothing but these guys living it up every night when they have the studio to themselves! 😃

I know that Chicken Little isn't the best but as a child I always had fun watching it.
Yeah
Same here

Peter and the wolf, when?
This short was nothing short of amazing and I’ll admit that scene with Mickey and Walt almost made me cry especially when feed the birds playing in the background
This short was soo good
Disney!
(pause for effect)
Assemble.

Him as a Beast or as a human? ^^’
The beast is more iconic it’s the truth.
1:38 looks like Stromboli wants his money 💰 back from the vending machine. 😂 1:46 Han Solo reference 4:34 Quasimodo 5:26 😃

😢 hearing the OG Jiminy cricket was it for me
We didn't have this chance in the french version 😢
Seeing Stitch made me so happy.

That sounds about right :)
To Walt and Burny 🍷
4:27 I think it’s just because the characters were taken from random points in there films. Kuzco’s still a lama and Stitch is still chaotic
Hello 👋 David here 😊As a Disney, Disneyland fan and collector for over fifty years I loved your excitement and energy for Disney! Looks like the next generation of Disney fans are in great hands! Have a magical day!😎
thank you
Good to hear the original voices from Pat Carroll and Robin Williams... R.I.P.
I'm jealous because in France, they didn't use the voice of Roger Carel, who died three years ago, for the characters he voiced.

so glad Lilo and Stitcch and David and Nani

You are not the only one I LOVE BOLT🤩
7:35 You mean Aladar from Dinosaur 2000. I loved watching this movie as a kid.
Me too.
So did I.
I'm glad they added unrated movies
This makes me happy
beautiful short thank you very much for this video reaction
Awesome reaction, this short was so nostalgic for me! What are your guys favorite Disney movies?
Mine is Zootopia, not sure about Hannah
It's not every day that there's a centennial (100th anniversary)!
This is Disney's version of the Avengers.
My favorite will always be the Lion King.
The dinosaur from "Dinosaur" is named "Aladar".
Also, the car I believe you're referring to is "Susie the Little Blue Coupe".
the older guy (I cant remember his name) is the longest serving animator at Disney he was employed there 70 years and died shortly before this came out. I think the girl was just a general actress.
La chica fue la ultima que recién contrataron en Disney junto al más viejo de disney
I love bolt I was mad happy when I saw him 🗣️
Das mit Anna, Elsa und Hans war lustig.
1:26 Can't wait for live action Moana.
Me too
No one from Roger Rabbit is there . I believe your mistaking Benny the Van for Jay Jay the Jet Plane
I LOVE BOLT TOO
And I got the Picture with my 100 year Name tag.
Good Video from you both!
thank you
i can't believe you cut the part where Mickey thanked Walt.
They forgot merida and giselle
But merida is from the other studio and is a pixar disney princess and giselle is not a disney princess

they only included characters from Disney Animation, so no Pixar characters, that's why

I’m surprised you haven’t reacted to the Rescuers 1:16
Maybe we will
@@noahtennant that's one of my three favorite
Did you heard that Brie Larson quit Marvel?
I heard a rumor but I didn't know if it was true
Wait. Why?
@@johnsantos507 Not sure why.
@@transformandgobricks7820 No wait. This has to be a joke. If she's indeed quit, then who will be the actor of Carol Danver?
@johnsantos507 There are plenty of actresses that can recast her.
Watch Oliver and Company
I've been telling her for years
@@noahtennant Haha well maybe this year will be the year Noah Have a Wonderful Day 😊
Since there are characters from “Pete’s dragon”, “Mary Poppins”, and “Bedknobs & Broomsticks”.

Song of the South would be a bit ... awkward to include.
yeah idk about that one
others would have been good tho
