They got Unused Footage from Robin Williams Bloopers from Aladdin. They family has their permission to use them. I was crying hearing his voice again. This short film is phenomenal and brought tears to my eyes. Happy 100th Disney. Thanks for the joy and laughter.
@@TheMormonSorceress First of all this is a short, not a movie. Secondly, compared to Ralph Breaks The Internet, this short only focuses on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ creations; not Pixar, not The Muppets, not Marvel, not- you get the picture. Therefore this ISN’T sad at all. While the Walt Disney Company has made questionable decisions over the last few years, this isn’t the first time they were in a struggle, this has also happened throughout the 70s/80s, and especially from the late 90s/early-mid 2000s. So there’s still some magic if you’re willing to look for it in the right places. Also, word of advice, don’t copy what the Fandom Menace/Extreme Far Rightists say, form your own opinions instead of mindlessly listening to desperate grifters.
It truly was a beautiful short. I love how they managed tow ork in both archived audio and voice acting where possible. For example, Pooh's line: "Ooh! Oh help, and bother!" was from his original voice actor, Sterling Halloway (who also did Kaa and the Cheshire Cat) but when he sings at the end, it's his current voice actor, Jim Cummings (who also sung as Baloo in this short.)
In France, Kaa and the Cheshire Cat were voiced by the same guy than Winnie too. There was a second dub and in this one he voiced Winnie, Coco Rabbit and Piglet. This guy passed away three years ago and I was sad to discover they didn't reused recording of his voice for the characters he voiced in the french version
Definitely, the top moments for the show was Mickey seeing Walt picture(we feed the birds playing) seeing Oswald and the characters singing when you wish upon a star. My favourite Disney characters are Rapunzel, Alice, Mirabel and Winnie the Pooh(definitely got emotional when he sang)
I’m glad you actually noticed that Aladar and the lemurs were in the back of the 100th year anniversary picture! “Dinosaur” is a very underrated movie in my opinion, and it should get more love! Thanks, Walt Disney, for everything! ❤🎉😅 I still can’t believe Disney has been around for 100 years.. it’s crazy..😮
This short was absolutely awesome seeing all these characters together and the actors especially Robin Williams and sterling Holloway was brilliant and scene with Mickey and Walt so emotional I almost cried
Disney thank you for everything. You have brought magic and happiness to me and countless others throughout the 100years and I can't wait to see what the future brings. Thnak you.
This was such a beautiful way to celebrate 100 years of Disney.Seeing the old & new Disney characters brought me tears & happiness!Happy 100 years to Disney!Thank you for bringing the joy, tears, laughter and heart!
It is a very special short film indeed! The best part about this wonderful short film is that they did bring the Old Disney Magic back to life. And that is something the whole Disney Company is missing right now as we speak!
We all have a special place for the animation industry and a favourite character of our allikes Long live animation and forevermore. Animation is love animation is life.
Definitely rewatchable and so many easter eggs too. Like even I missed this, but Cinderella's gown was back to its original silver color like in the movie because it was turned blue for the Disney Princesses marketing (and similarly, Aurora's gown was made pink). If you haven't seen it yet, there is behind the scenes footage of some of the VAs returning to record for this special. Even some of the original Animators came back to do their chars.
I found out a few days ago, the old man the intern is talking to at the start is Disney Legend Burnett 'Burny' Mattinson, who was employed at Disney Animation from 1953 until his death in 2023. 70 years of his life he devoted to it, the longest service yet. Once Upon A Studio is dedicated in his memory, and I'm so glad he was able to take part in it and recognized for his long, distinguished career. I would bet anything Walt was one of the first to greet him in the next life, shaking his hand and saying "Nice work, ol' fella." ☺
I don't even think I can express what I thought of it in words.. So beautiful and nostalgic and wholesome and that was Robin Williams actual voice! T^T (also very happy I got a glimpse of Kida! She is so incredibly underrated! She wa slike the first princess warrior/bad-ass in Disney!)
I’ve LOVED this short, seeing EVERY Disney character that appeared in this short is just… is just…. magical! Of course seeing the original Disney characters like my favorite Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and others! I LOVED how Aladdin showed up, hearing Robin Williams’ voice as Genie, AND Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet. I loved how Big Hero 6 characters showed up, and Bolt!

How’d all the characters know the song? I could imagine yearly the workers look at the wallpapers they’re in and sing the song together when they’re admiring them.
I'm really happy with this video, the only thing that makes me think I'm in uncomfortable grape jelly is how they didn't recognize Toy Story. And it was Disney's first CGI animated movie...
Where was the toys from Toy Story, and the characters from Wall E, monsters inc, cars, and so many more characters that made Pixar famous, especially Toy Story it has its own area at the parks, but no sign of the toys anywhere 😭
@@OpticalSorcererOne of the penguins from Mary Poppins appeared, Elliott the dragon from Pete's Dragon showed too and at least two Bedknobs and Broomsticks characters appeared and they're all hybrid films. The possible reason Song of the South wasn't included due to controversies.

A question why Pixar characters were not with the other characters, they are also from Disney, they also have to celebrate together with them, it is as if they were not part of them, they are all from Disney, they must all be together because they are part of the family disney that's what I would have wanted Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney
If you dont mind me asking, justvto pick your brain, whT sort of software or apps do you use to make these reaction videos? I also take it a laptop is necessary
It's perfect!🥲 So much better than what WB had for their 100th Anniversary special. Seriously! Why put the Titan Twerps (aka Teen Titans Go!) as the hosts!? "Space Jam 2" was more of a 100th Anniversary special than that, and people hypocritically hate it because they said it was nothing more than a glorified commercial (wasn't that what the first one was?).
Cut to Disney shorting on their own animated history and their fans by remaking half the animated movies depicted here, and going out of their way to make them politically charged just to virtue signal and upset fans.

Yah I literally thought that, take A guess to what the next Disney film is: ✨⭐️💫🪄🐐🎶👩🏾🔵
To me the movie is a sad reminder that the magic is dead and replaced by heartless people that care more about money and political agendas.

My favorite moment was when mickey egknowledged Oswald, it felt like Disney was being self aware of their origins, which is honestly heartwarming
