The friendly culture is everything for me. It's such a simple thing, but being in a place where everyone smiles back and greets you has such an postive impact on your self-esteem and mental well-being. Tanzanians are so kind and have a very beautiful culture. Thank you for sharing.❤

The friendly culture is a normal thing on the continent, the warmth is more like a default, it is what we are as the people especially in East Africa, the thing is where you land first you may fall in love with that place because it's your new first experience, so it's better to choose where you want to land first other ways you might be falling in love over and over in every place or country you go too😇

In Tanzania there is one word we use your neighbor is your relatives coz you can get sick and the one who is gonna help you is your neighbor so here if you live and you don't talk or understand your neighbor mmmh is the problem they think you have problem 😂😂😂😂 your neighbor can knock the door and give you some food you even don't ask for just love and especially when is holidays 💕💕💕🇹🇿

Na Wakenya kaskazimi hawajatambua umaarifa wa nchi ya Tanzania. I am from Kenya but quite honestly if I was to give a score on scale 1-100 on how far they have decolonised and liberated their minds towards African redemption, I give Kenya a score of 48% and Tanzania 75%.
Tamzania leads Africa in the process of freeing the African mind from the aftermath of colonisation.
They are bold and dare in places never explored before. We as Kenyans are so blessed to have Tanzania as our neighbour but we don't know it.

Mark What I like about u is that u have fit right into the Tanzanian culture. U have come with an open mind not wanting to change things or critise look down on or compare Tanzania with America all the time. U have left America behind and are embracing and loving genuinely the people. U certainly will survive and do very well. Tanzania reminds me of Jamaica. I dont see or hear police car. It is not a Police State

  • @Nedjadist

Believe me, I wish our Tanzanian leaders and people do more to open their arms to our own brothers and sisters from the diaspora. They will bring speedy progress to the country. Open up the country, let them get visas, citizenship، start businesses easily like in a week they should be able to register a business. Let them settle quickly. Remember all great countries have been built by the migrants and those which have not, are so boring because of lack of diversity and colours. Let the criterion of getting a Tanzanian citizenship for a Blackman is the the mastering of Kiswahili only. If one masters it in six months, one year, five years...mupnto them. Kiswahili is the only single thing that makes us Tanzanians. That should be enough.
    I wish I were president!

I'm in Canada to, Toronto. I've lost 28.8 lbs not even trying. But I avoided starchy food and walked . I'm on keto in Canada and wanted to see if I can maintain it in Tanzania. Very limited selection of foods when you take the carbs out but that was my choice. Being in a small village in Tanga region added more challenge. I don't see it as negative, I just had to be more creative in food prep . 😊😁🤪

No. 11 ... The safety. You could walk for days without seeing/meeting an armed police. Self discipline is the order of the day. The more crowded the place, the safer it is. I notice a lot of people take it for granted that you can walk around a city of 6 million without getting mugged.

Wonderful and refreshing as always to see you commenting, respecting and embracing Africa, where we are deeply rooted and connected. Seeing yourself reflected back in the people that surround you, that reminds you of family. I live in The Caribbean. Nassau Bahamas. Its really not staring when we look at people. Its paying attention to them as human beings. We don't get to know each other and anticipate each others needs by looking straight ahead as we pass each other. The other day, I pulled into a parking lot with the intention of turning around and happened to "stare" at a young lady who was sitting on some steps, obviously in distress. I called her to my car and found out that she had been thrown out of the house by her boyfriend the night before. I was able to encourage and help her financially with one stare.

My family there would always ask why I would ever move to a place with "nothing" there. I would tell them it was because I saw the "lack" as an area I could help improve (opportunity). I decided on Africa instead a few months ago for other reasons, but the concept is the same. This was another great video as usual, thanks for sharing! 💜

We africans r very bright n colorful ppl. We love bright colors. I really find it ridiculous when Americans talk about their little black dress cos its such wyt culture n unnatural to our ppl but AA have been forced to go with it.

@Chelsea Chelsea you as a White American - living on Stolen Land and thinking you can ask people to go back where they come from. Justice will happen and a bitter harvest will reap your people.

Just found you and love you already. I look forward to visiting Tanzania...When you visit Nigeria do go to Lagos (crazy chaotic, fast-paced, fun), Abuja (calm, green, slow-paced), Calabar (green, slow, crazy good food), Uyo (similar to Calabar, but even better) and Jos etc.
