My 2 year old climbed into my lap while I was knitting and watching this episode. He said, "Mama, what the name?" I said, "Her name is Ruth." And he paused and looked and said, "No, Mama, she a queen." I looked at the screen and realized he must've thought your pin board was a crown right above your head. It made me giggle.
Your podcasts go by so fast. I listen to them over again. Don’t ever worry about the length of your episodes. I could listen twice as long. Thank you for sharing God’s word. I always get something from it. Many times it seems to be just what I need to hear. God bless. Oh yes! And I’d love to knit the Jigsaw shawl. Yours is lovely!
Love your heart for your family Ruth. Knitting time is luxurious, but God’s creation of family is stupendous and time with them is priceless. Thankful you’re all back together. I hope we get to see a pic of the bride in your shawl. I also hope you join me soon in my new Brioche journey. It’s addicting. 🧶
You and your podcast are such a delight, Ruth. Your shawls and your poncho are all beautiful! I’m sorry you didn’t get to go on your holiday, but glad you had your knitting to keep you company. Thank you for sharing a bit of God’s Word each podcast. It’s always an encouragement. 🙏🏼. Keep on knitting 🧶
The wedding shawl is absolutely stunning. I hope you will receive and share a photo of the bride wearing it. Seems an honor to be asked to make such an heirloom garment…and an honor to wear it as well. Hope she is just the first bride to wear it and it will be passed, shared and worn by others. Or maybe she’ll wrap her firstborn in it for Baby Dedication or Christening. Your talent is fascinating. Your podcasts so fun and encouraging. Thanks for the precious reminders of our Christ and all he’s done for us.
Jigsaw Shawl...say that three times fast! I'd love to knit it. 😃 And I'd love to offer one of my sock patterns as a prize for the KAL. To see them all, just put my name, Carol Roy, in Ravelry. Some of the names start with "Five Winds" because that's the name of my daughter's equine rescue and rehabilitation ranch. 100% of sales proceeds go toward the vet bills, feed costs, chiropractor costs, ferrier costs, etc for the horses. Once rehabilitated, the horses are re-homed to loving families. One horse was gifted to a therapeutic riding program for children. The smiles on the kids faces would melt your heart. ❤
So sorry your trip to Ireland was cancelled. You have made the most of the time alone. I’d probably have just sat and sulked!! Really liked the passport for heaven illustration.

Your Sprite's Fen shawl turned out gorgeous! I knit that in a pretty yellow for my sister's production of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers that their church put on a few years ago. It was such an enjoyable knit and I was thrilled with how it turned out! She ended up keeping that one for herself after the play was over. 😊 Thank you, Ruth, for another lovely podcast. I'm so sorry you had to miss your trip to Ireland!
Thank you, Ruth ! Ever as enjoyable . Each visit ` wonderful . That " little terror " is ADORRRRRABLE !!!! That IS a face that would melt butter INDEED !!!!!!! Hope she makes another appearance ! All the best, marcia

Hope you can enjoy your solitude… it makes the happy chaos so much more joyful. I’m right there with you about the heat! I just can’t think through hot weather at this stage of life.
Sweet Ruth...your words have brought tears to my eyes today. My sister has lived with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years now, and been in a nursing home for the last 18yrs, maybe 10 of those years basically a quadriplegic. Her body is now being taken over by gangrene, and we're told she'll slip into a coma soon. We have said our goodbyes. Your words give me hope, that soon she'll be free, and dancing and moving like she hasn't been able to for so long now. Thank you so much for your words. If you are so inclined, would you please say a prayer for Linda, that her remaining days are peaceful. 😔😘
Thank you for sharing your knitting with us. I love the patterns that you pick to knit. I'm sorry that you couldn't go on holiday, but I hope you had a nice time regardless. The yellow coned yarn is going to make a beautiful project. Also thank you for sharing about faith. I love to call my kiddos in the room if they're around when I am listening. They also love to hear. I hope you have an amazing week!
Gutted for you and all the family Ruth. After so many plans to not be able to join the family would have brought me to tears but they will soon be home and lovely to know you have been missed. Laughed out loud about your cast ons. All beautiful and delighted you have bought some more wool with your holiday fund. I was able to sit outside this evening watching you ( I did think your holiday went quickly when I saw you here earlier in the evening) and then went down my long garden to say my thanks for the day. The faith part of your vlog, as well as what you have been knitting, is what makes your podcasts so good - thank you and happy Friday when the family return. ❤️

Thanks so much for another wonderful podcast- they never feel long. Hope the heat doesn’t get to you and I also hope you will get your trip to Ireland. Really appreciate your devotions too Ruth-thanks again!
Best laid plans and all that.... It will happen sometime.
