Installing a Pocket Door on the Track | Remodelaholic

  • In this video we are showing you how to install a pocket door on the track of the pocket door frame. We show you how to install the hardware and what the pocket door hardware looks like. We also give you some tips on making a successful pocket door install. I will show you some of the other hardware in another video. It's the hardware that helps keep the door centered. In order to install that hardware you will need all the trim installed.
    We previously installed a pocket door kit in an existing wall and you can see that video here. We didn't show how to hang it in that video so we created a new video here to show you how it's done.

    The part where you use the wrench is killing me. I cannot get the pin seated.

      It does take a little bit to work it in. Having a second helper helps.

      @@Remodelaholic Got it seated, the wrench was critical to hold the top sliding "cartridge" in place so I could then push the door slot against it. Thank you for your video!
