Agreed. If you don't use a zoom mic your voice has an echo which makes it hard to understand sometimes. The music makes it harder to hear. In my opinion, you don't need the music at all. Thanks for the info!

I wss going to suggest tweaking your mic or sound pickup, maybe switch to a decent mic that you could leaen how to mix the vocals with sound so you have pan for stereo% sound frequencies adjusted so different ranges pop out in the mix like that is how you you get meaning out of both vocal and music. This recording you have two tracking sounds over top of each other muddling out each other so it's very tough to try to pay attention to what your saying bevause although lovely music it's competing with you. So if your only changing just volume with the musix then the answer is I thought it was a tad too loud..

This is not solicited, but I think the background music is fine, it is just a touch loud in the mix and in certain moments of the video runs roughshod over your voice and takes a little away from the instruction. Hey. If Lsl aren’t in the budget I use 2x4 with relief cuts every couple feet then cover the 2x4 with the steel track used for steel studding. Really helps keep the studs from twisting and bowing.
Now I have my way to make these openings serviceable if they even need work done to them by having the header jamb removable and held by earth magnets and caulking (if it’s paint grade.

Hello, As always Great in depth video’s... One suggestion for you would be after you square up your leading door edge and after you cut out for the lock hardware would be to install your roller hardware mounts while the door is still laying flat on your sawhorses... It’s much easier to do that than to get up on a ladder...
Of course adjustments at the opening can often occur. Back in the day I often had 4 or more pocket doors per unit/house to set/hang. I always made my own pocket frames and hung the doors as protocol dictated. Sometimes before and sometimes after drywall was hung. Either way a mild challenge. On the ThinderSprng project I often had to put to frames together for a Six foot opening. I even did a Twelve foot, Quad door opening once. It took two days to build the frame, set then hang the four doors and do all the adjustments. I was given the nickname the “Door King” by our Forman... LoL. Greg

Insider Carpentry; I worked on a very High End Condo Complex Up In Ketchum, Idaho Calle “Thunder Spring” back in 2001-2003, the average Unit size was about 1,500 - 2,500 sq ft. They had as little as one and as many as 5 pocket doors in each unit. Even the smallest at 850 sq ft had at least one. The very Largest units were up words of 6,000 sq ft.Very High End Hardware by Rocky Mountain Hardware were used through out the whole Complex... I build most of the Pocket Frames myself and set them as per spec. Some were doubles and one set was actually a “quad” with four doors, two coming out from each pocket to make up a 7’0” x 12’0” opening... It took three days to make the pockets, Hang the doors and set all the Split Jamb pieces and Hardware... Oh and The Dry wallers used 5/8” Bullnose so no casing though out as well... I enjoy all of your videos... I call them “Comfort Food”. You so remind me of my younger days with your willingness to excel in or work ethics... I commend you... Greg

Where I am the pocket doors come as prefab kits. One of the workarounds for stiffening the 2x4 kits is to sheet it with 1/2" plywood. Besides the obvious it provides noise dampening. I just have to make a new strike jamb which is easy. Plus always pay the extra 5 bucks for the higher end roller hardware.

A tip you use but don't mention is the direction you face the opening of the clips on the top of the door. Facing both clips with the opening facing the same way towards the direction the door closes will help you get the pins in very easy. This may not seem that important until you get to some solid core 8 foot doors, some even have glass inserts that make them very heavy. Using this method even if your alone it is still very easy.

Nice video. Order of operations thought; maybe install pocket doors first; then the pre-hung doors won’t be in your way and you don’t risk dinging them with the pocket doors. The downside is that the pre-hung doors take up a lot of floor space before they are installed. :)
