So basically righty tighty, lefty loosely.. right spin too tighten up the bank and left English too loosen the bank or for it too go wider and longer and hitting center ball with slower speed the bank with go wider and faster speed for tighter bank.. i could be totally wrong but this is the best way my mind understands and processes this information.

When you bank the 8 ball to get position to the 9 ball at the video, how about hitting hard like you told us and aim the diamond but adding some left spin? To make the 8 and get position on the 9, is that an option too ?

Karl mate, you need to be really careful in how you're explaining stuff, if you want to make this channel successful and make it grow. You said this is aimed particularly at beginner students or amateurs, in that case (after showing right spin on the cue ball makes the cue ball go long/more to the right, and visa versa with left) you must explain the concept why when you playing a normal bank, why does applying right spin on the cue ball make the object ball go shorter. I think that is something the beginner players really need to understand!

EVERY one of these bank tutorials is posted lining up the cue/object balls w the diamonds and that NEVER actually happens on the table..we get the diamonds ...and english too..show me real banks w 12 balls on the table.
