I love the concept of Master Chief being physically incapable of explaining anything without attaching a specific analogy relating to his extensive combat experience.
I love your articulation.
Yeah, it's better than the feeling you get when driving your mongoose full throttle, while avoiding the gunfire from the covenant.
It's all the PTSD man. That shit stays with ya...
Essay week huh? Procrastinating
@@MovieMaker1040 not even PTSD, he just doesnt know what else to talk about, those are the only experiences he has to draw from, its kind of endearing hearing a super soldier try to relate to a normal person by describing killing a grunt like everyone knows what thats like
Someone out there with a 2006 Nissan Murano probably found this searching for an actual tutorial
ill be happy as hell if i was that person
Lmao this is actually a pretty good tutorial

Chief, you're supposed to drain the oil from the engine _before_ removing the oil filter. You even forgot to screw the oil plug back on before pouring in new oil, too. You know how expensive this gear is, son?
I've never heard this lmao. Not saying it's wrong. Most everyone I've seen just removes the filter first because it's easiest
@@shrapnel6818 Most don't. Taking the oil filter out first usually makes a bigger mess depending on its placement on the engine. You should always let the oil out the drain plug first so there'd be significantly less leakage from the filter when you remove it.
Tell that to the Covenant…

I imagine these memes are instructional videos by Master Chief to help retired Spartans adapt to society.
Honestly
spartans do not retire, they are buried.
They aren't buried. They're listed as MIA.

I love how Master Chief officially owns a absolute classic thats probably worth hundreds of millions in the year 2550 something.
A 2006 Nissan
What makes videos like these shine is how it takes a familiar and bolstering character like Chief, and turns mundane troubles into less-scarier or daunting tasks by breaking them down into what they really are. This is the best way to teach, by subtracting the trepidation factor.

don't forget to lightly lube up the O ring on the new filter when replacing it. you can use the old oil. this helps the O ring settle correctly when tightening. also the oil filter is hand tightened. if over-tightened the O ring will stretch and fail. stay safe soldier!
I was looking for this one. Key detail to avoid a slow leak and nasty engine troubles down the line
Yes!! Stops the O-ring on the new filter from sticking and staying behind when you change it next time.
Chief didn't yell at me for holding the flashlight wrong, I think he's a good teacher.
Reach could have been saved if you had drained the oil first before removing the filter.
The Infinity could have been saved had you used a new crush washer on the drain plug.
The release of the flood could have been prevented had you not used a Fram filter chief.
Fram is responsible for every and all flood outbreaks. Get rid of fram, and watch how quickly society heals.
And always remember to put a bit of new oil on the new filter's rubber seal.
Amd pour some oil into the filter itself before screwimg it on

This made my week, I have done 1000s of oil changes just hearing master chief explaining how to do it is like doing a oil change for the first time, also chief just a little side note make sure the oil filter came off with its gasket so you don't put a new filter and gasket on the old gasket
I learned more about changing oil in 2 minutes than I did in 2 months of automotive training
Master Chief is so Goated bro taught me how to change the oil on my 2006 Nissan Murano
How blessed do i have to be that i see this after i open youtube?!
TheRussianBadger has blessed this random video.
I came here from TheRussianBadger needing to see this for myself!
I love the fact that this is the first time i hear master chief's voice and he's explaining to me how to change the oil of an 2006 nissan murano
Master chief is taking this too serious 💀
Can we just appreciate how much effort master chief goes into changing our oil?
How blessed am I that this the first thing that I see when logging in to UA-cam
Me and my dad bought our first car before like 6 years ago. It was a 2006 Nissan Turano, and ironically enough, we never changed the oil ourselves. Approximately 2 months ago the nearest car repair shop was closed, so we couldn't fix it in time for my dad's birthday.
So we thought we could fix it ourselves, we went on UA-cam for a tutorial and for some reason this popped up. And to no avail, we watched this, kind of helpful, but we went searching more onto how to change the oil of our car.
We got it fixed and we made it on time, but that mightve been the funniest shit that happened that day, besides the dog eating half of the cake cause he got on the table (we don't even know how he did)
Thanks again Chief this help get back on the road again Hoorah!
I am so blessed to log onto UA-cam and find this on my recommended
Thanks this actually worked! I’ve been looking for hours for this tutorial! 😀😀😀😀
Thanks master chief :D

This actually helped with doing the oil change surprisingly.

This is really soothing to listen to somehow.
Thank you very much master chief, I’ve been looking for a straight forward and a personally known reliable source to help me change the oil on my 2006 Nisan Murano.
Anyone else get a Valvoline ad before this?
Yeah
Don't forget to check for gaskets left behind. sometimes they can be left behind and cause oil leaks due to bad seals
Thank you Master Chief, I'm glad to have a mentor like you on my side.
Thanks! This helped me change the oil on my 2006 Nissan Murano and Master Chief.
So this is what Badger meant...
this is incredible

This has helped so much, thanks Daddy Chief
Who came here from the Russian badger
Me lol
Chief can you tell me how to do this on a 2016 dodge dart
Bonus points for actually teaching the proper procedure.
This is the best oil change tutorial I could actually follow it thank you master chief 👍
Make sure not to over tighten the oil filter. Or you'll struggle to get it off. After removing the old oil filter make sure that the old gasket isn't stuck on the car. This can happen if you over tighten the oil filter . You don't want two gaskets. Also the drain plug has a torque spec... find that spec and get a torque wrench if you want the job done the right way.
I love how he makes comparisons to actual missions
Thank you Master Chief. Was needing a guide for changing my 2006 Nissan Murano's Oil.
