@TheBeatles. restore George’s solo…if he ever recorded one. They worked on the song for an afternoon. Paul talked like it was his idea to do the solo when they finished the song recently like they hadn’t even gotten that far before discarding the song in the 90s because of the quality of the tape.

I love this. George is my favorite Beatles and I wanted so badly to learn what he was playing ,as I’ve only started play a little over a year ago, and I thought I was going to have to wait awhile. Thank you for getting this out the same day the song was released😂I love it
As for the guitar Paul used on the slide solo, Sam, my four pennies go the cigar box guitar Johnny Depp gifted him sometimes around 2011/2012. He started using it for slide solos in the Nirvana collaboration Cut Me Some Slack that same year (2012), then on the song Appreciate on the New album (2013) and somewhere else here and there ever since

Nothing greater than an acoustic guitar strumming. The chord progression on this tune is pretty cool. Simple but cool. Sort of haunting I think I heard one person say, those minor chords! That A minor to G sets it up nice

Hey, just to add to the list of instruments used, the electric guitar George used was built by a luthier called Bernie Hamburger, the brand being Hamburguitar. If you check his website you'll see both the red guitar briefly shown in the little documentary for Now and Then plus the green one seen during the solo section of the music video for Real Love.
