    When I was a (17) kid I was able to get my Ford Tuaris the the falls. All the SXS traffic has made the road so bad. But I guess it is a good thing as less tourists out there now.

      I've seen (and taken) some little sedans through pretty hairy stuff. I never underestimate the power of unrestrained determination and brute force.

    I easily did it in my 30 year old Jeep Cherokee XJ in April 2022.

    Nice to see a day when the falls aren't swarming with people. Been there a couple of times this year and it's been packed each time. The alternative way to go is start at the La Verkin gun range come in the back way to the falls via Rattlesnake gulch. But no cell service on that route / shouldn't do it alone, and doing it in anything close to stock would be a serious challenge and probably result in some damage. I took my well built Tacoma on 33's in that way and I most likely won't do it again in it. But it's great in our other rigs that have the breakover / clearance it is fun way to come into the falls and then take the main road you came in back to Toquerville.

      Geeze, if the back way is rougher than the way I took then holy cow! I’ma pass on that. And you’re right about stock clearance, on my way back down I passed a stock F250 that lost a running board on their way up.

      @@RealAdventureTheory here is a video of our most recent trip taking the back way in our little crawler build. Should give you a good idea of what it looks like. ua-cam.com/video/VIS4zPIPJ9Q/v-deo.html

    Took my stock Trd pro 4Runner up there today….. some dude had a subaru outback up there, and there are now some pretty deep holes in a few places…. I would definitely recommend a lift for the trail! 😅

      Agreed. Though I'll point out as I have before. A wide variety of cars and trucks can make the trip provided the driver gives zero sh1t$ about damage ha!

    Wouldnt have been so rough if you aired down your tires. I did this a few days ago in my Tundra. It is a fun drive. You should try Rattlesnake Gulch that also leads to the falls. That is a crazy trail but I still did it.

    Have a 2020 tacoma 4x4 pro went about a mile up and turned around before was to late. It's sto k do you think it would make it?

    • @RealAdventureTheory
      @RealAdventureTheory  4 місяці тому

      @@RAMBO3582 I think a stock taco could make it okay as long as there’s no running boards hanging down and you angle the obstacles just right. And I feel like there were only 3 maybe 4 potentially hazardous ones.

    How long did it take to go out and back?

      I wanna say it was about an hour each way. But I had to stop a lot to film so that slows me down.

    It’s considered an easy 2 wheel drive trail. You don’t even need a 4 wheel drive. It’s the easiest trail we ever did. WTF are you taking about?
