I don't know what to say Shaun, your intro to this video gave me chills. I was glued to my screen through the rest, and then in tears at the end. Incredible work my friend! And what a way to relive one of the greatest trips we have ever shared! Thanks for all the work you do!
Beautiful story and cinematography. As a father who has been looking to get into overlanding and camping more with my kids, this put me in the mindset that I need to stop planning so much and start doing
Great video, yes cherish those times. We remember when our kids were that age now in there 20's we still look at videos and pics of camping and jeeping in Utah. Good times!
Very nice video. Reminded me of the times with my son and daughter. It’s the memory and daily lessons that will help the kids build character. Happy I found your channel.
Great video man. Story telling with word is always a big plus. I am looking to go there on Nov late from houston myself. Looking for places to visit and camp. I will be there 7-10 days
Beautiful scenery. There are a number of canyons that drop into the E Fork from the N and there are walk, scramble exists to the S. The country was painted by Maynard Dixon a century ago & JW Powell and his group entered this on their 2nd trip to the West. With permission from the private land owner, one can proceed W through the slot as it empties into open terrain. There is also a good deal of indigenous remnant in the region. Thanks for the show.
I just found your channel and am sorry it took this long. You do such a great job with the whole experience that I’m looking forward to going back to learn more. It’s great to see you interact with the kids. Keep up the great work
Your channel just came as a recommendation from UA-cam. I didn’t make past the introduction before subscribing. 😂😂😂 Your channel has the feel I’m going for with mine.
Thanks for the video - breathtaking! Experiencing floods in my life, it does make me nervous seeing anyone camping in this type environment; especially next to a creek/river. Hope you had an exit plan just in case!
Wow. I got emotional a couple of times watching this. Fantastic production. We r planning out our trip now for September will be our first time in Utah! Wish we could bring our rigs with us but coming from NC wouldn’t leave us time so we r gonna rent a 4WD van.
Such a great video! I’m a St. George local and native. If it’s not weird I’d love to tag along in an adventure if you’re ever around. Recently got into a 06 tundra and want to do more with it.
Thanks so much! Congrats on the Tundra, those first gens are awesome trucks! I have been getting a lot of requests like that recently and I am open to it. I will probably be organizing some meetups/ camps out in the future over on Patreon.
Well, found your channel thru this vid & it’s quite something just like my backyard. Keep it up. Peek-a-boo is known well enough. Yall just missed the tons of tour companies & SXS’s that are there… especially on Fridays & Saturdays.
What a really great video. Making memories is so important in life. Love to do this next summer. May I ask where you started the upper bears trail? I can’t find it on the internet… or don’t know where to look for it.
How could anyone be so selfish and inconsiderate as to want to close these areas to responsible recreationists? Some people (and government agencies) are absolute despicable.
Leave it for those willing to pay the price by backpacking in! There are plenty of over landing and drive up spots out there. Once you open wilderness up to vehicles, it is never the same
Fundamental worldview difference; I believe the planet is here to protect, awe, and enjoy, not simply to explore. Take care of the land, because you will be part of it soon. Cars bringing the masses, and with them there garbage, noise, pollution, general lack of serene wildness. Plenty of over, landing places already, we need more truly wild places.
@@wanderingaimlessly. also, I hunt, fish, backpack, ride, and Overland frequently. Not sure why we would assume someone watching an outdoor channel and commenting on. It doesn’t do those things…
@@anthonypenalber2237 that’s true, but the bad thing is that it lets anyone and everyone with the time, money and will in, and that changes the fundamental nature of these few wild places. there are plenty of overlanding spots, and too few true wildernesses remaining
