Glad you stuck with a 7.3. You scared the crap out of me !!!!
We love a 7.3 to 7.3 upgrade!
They are are to stay away from haha
Oh geez, Joe. You had me holding my breath for those first few minutes! Haha. I see a few have recommended the Silver Bullet, I like that name for your truck. Looking forward to following along.
Fuck yeahh dude a new. 7.3 powerstroke crew cab let’s go
I am glad you are back on a 7.3. I had left the channel when you changed your truck and I am glad you decided to come back to a 7.3.
I just started watching again
Love the new truck!! Congratulations 🎊
Thank you!
Can’t wait!
We love in Texas now but Springfield Oregon is where my in laws live and my son was born. We lived there for almost a year and I loved everything except the summer fires. I have asthma so breathing and allergies were out of control like no other time in my life. But side note Ive had a ton of customers over the years with mobility mods to their vehicles. Everything from sienna vans with ramps and elaborate driver seat mods to bmw race cars with basically just hand controls. Hand controls are universal and seats can be adapted to your situation. I had a customer show me how he got in and out of his bmw 3 series coupe. His chair was bad ass and made his life so much more manageable how it came apart. And he got it into his passenger seat from the driver's seat after he got in the car. I don't know anything about mobility devices but his chair was seriously bad ass. He didn't let anything stop him from enjoying that bmw 😂 it had like 200k miles and he was the original owner.
I have an early 99 7.3 f250, hope you enjoy it, I'd love to see what kind of things you do with new truck. Hopefully get some ideas from you too😅
Absolutely beautiful rig you have there sir...the crew cabs are the best😊👍
When I first saw it I thought "SIlver Ghost" for it's name
Love this new rig!
Fantastic. I also have an early 99 so I am looking forward to the engine work.
I’m new to this channel I just recently picked up a 2001
7.3 after not owning one for 13 years and love the upgrades you do. My first two I bought new and never did any upgrades but am enjoying the process on the 2001.
This is what I’ve done recently
Adrenaline hpop
Cnc hpop lines with crossover
Frx fuel
6637 filter
AIH delete
I am thinking the new dash lights will be my next project. The truck has 135,000 miles so I’m waiting on injectors and turbo.
Anyways love your channel.
Man was scared about dropping second old girl but glad your still in the community
So my white 2001 crew cab F-350 was called the “Bumble”, for the Abominable snowman. A beast of a truck.
I must admit I was a little sad when I read the title but I'm happy you found the "silver bullet". I have a 2000 F250 with the 7.3L and any video you do about the 7.3 is awesome. Good luck with the new one and passing on the previous one.
Sharp looking truck, very stoked to see what you have in store for the old girl.
Joe, excited for the 7.3 content - and when do we get an updated home tour? haha
Sure glad you're sticking with the 7.3 platform.
I've got the original Platinum edition F250 4x4. It's a 2001 model, I call it " Goose" because it's a loud and a bit slow on takeoff but just like a goose it's in for the long ride 🤣
"Silver bullet" would be a good name for your new to the channel F350
Looking good, I have a factory purple E99 F250 CCLB 4x4 with 6 speed. It has the camper/plow package so it has X code front springs. Only thing I wish is it were a F350 SRW like yours.
This is Great! Finally someone takes on an early 99….. That confuses a lot of people early 99 vs late 99. Glad you did it! I remember when I had no idea the difference….. Riff Raff is like boxing stuff up already……
Should be a good project. I definitely still have some to learn.
Love my Falkon at3 37inch tires on my f250
I found a 2000 f350 crew cab dually short bed the other day, I didn’t realize they made a short bed dually 7.3 🤯
I want one 😞
I own one
@@alcatraz501 how much ???
@@jessejames1395 we paid 13500 for it a few years ago there not like super rare or anything
New truck looks amazing
I think so too!
Good looking truck
I'm currently looking for the same truck I have two ext cabs 7.3s and they're great trucks but I do want a crew cab 7.3. Hard to find a clean one in IL but hopefully when I move to TX I'll find a good replacement.
I have an early 99 as well and I put a new 7.3 balanced and blueprinted long block in it from Blackwater Engines with everything else on it new. I also rebuilt and upgraded the 4R100 tranny. It runs great!
I’ve heard good things about their engines.
When ya build headlights for it, hope you try out the G5 BRT projectors from lightwerx with Osram bulbs. Can get drill jigs for nut and bolt light installation and there is plenty of how to vids. I did with mine and love it over my 95 with G5R projectors.
I'll have to check them out!
Sweet truck man 😎
Thank you!
My 10 yo son enjoyed your vid with me this morning just before heading out to swap the intake manifolds on my early '99. He says "Big Jim" for the name.
Like it!
Keep the grill!
Good job brother a little surprised but I like the crew cab I own a 2001 7.3 crew cab and I just dropped a new kc turbo new boots new all aluminum radiator reservoir up pipes yeah those were FUN😢 LOL keep up the good work brother good to see you still in the 7.3 community
I have a 97 CCLB4x4…was that KC worth it?
Super worth the work the money was nothing in comparison hahahha
I like my early 99, it already comes with a wicked wheel+ doesnt have a air intake heater, And it also only has 1 glow plug relay
There are definitely some pros to the e99
Heck yeah!!! I am excited.
I have a question. About to do a kc turbo on my E99 and I was thinking about doing a riffraff conversion to late 99
Thoughts (pros/cons)
Excited to see the content
I think the L99 is obviously a better setup. Is it work the money? That probably depends on how your using the truck. If you're having issues with EGTs towing or looking for more performance than it could be a good upgrade. That being said the OBS trucks had the same intake size (I believe) and no intercooler and they are still solid work horses. For the riff raff kit you're also working into the price range of a full t4 swap. I think for me, if I feel the need to do that big of an upgrade I might just go with a t4 kit.
Nice truck!
What is the music for the first intro to the new truck? That riff was crispy! (Call that baby "Big White")
It is a crispy riff indeed haha. Here’s a link to it.

I’d say name it the silver tongue devil. My ‘99 F-350 is a very early production late ‘99, within the first week of the switch over to late. It shares some chassis parts with the early ‘99s but the motor is all late ‘99.
I have the same deal with mine. It's a little frustrating when it comes to getting new front suspension pieces but I love the truck.
@@redwar2259, my main issue was when i had to rebuild my front driveshaft. It has the saginaw double cardan joint versus the later ones have the spicer setup. The front wheel bearings and brakes are different but you can convert those over to the 3/99 and later wheel bearings and brakes and be fine there. I’m sure there’s other odds and ends but those are the ones i noticed right off the bat.
When the front bearings go out I plan on putting the late ones on. If they go out. I got Riff Raffs grease zert for the front bearings. Works great. Just put a PMF track bar for E99 in. Makes a huge difference with the way the front end tracks.
@@redwar2259, i have that same grease zerk tool from riff raff and it does work great. I grease my bearings once a year. It also works on chevy trucks.
Titan would be a good name… silver “bullet”? Nah… as we all know its a far cry from a bullet 😆
Good lookin truck bro
Good point on the bullet haha maybe the “Silver Slug” is more fitting 😂
Would love to see a t4 swap done. maybe with a 364.5 or 366
That would be sweet!
I found a 2000 f350 dullie, 271k miles for 8500, pretty good shape, no blow by, oil leak but I just bought the hpop lines and should be here this week. Wife is not happy but it's gonna be a ranch and work trk.
That is a good deal. Get ready to sink some $ into her but it'll be worth it.
@@alsaku33 I'm looking at around 8k in the next 2 years on it. Upgrades and sensors.
Silver fox!
CCLB is the best. I’m biased but it’s the most useful.
I agree!
Where is the link to the facebook ad where you're selling? I might want to buy it.
I dont currently have it posted but if I do post it public I will let you know.

You need a 7.3l excursion join the gang my boy
Perhaps one day haha. I need a truck bed though.
@@LivingOnWheels yeah thats my problem most of the time 🤣 but i sure do love my Excursion especially for roadtrips. Maybe if you can find one for the right price (not what they are right now cause jeeeez) you can have both and do a build on it, im waiting for the magical free 6.0l powerstroke to fall into my lap, aint gonma happen but man i miss my old 6.0l, iv been trying to find it but no luck so far
I like your original maroon 7.3
SS Minnow
What you asking ? Miles ?
Nice! That thing is probably like 50' long 😅🤣
It’s definitely a land yacht haha
I have an 02 F350 CCSB SW. I was going to guess you got a 7.3 dually. So I was at least right with the 1ton lol.
Btw, why do you prefer the 17+mirrors over the 08+? I have the 08+ and love them. Was hoping you'd say why
I think it’s just the shape of the 17+ mirrors. I like the blind spot mirrors more.
@@LivingOnWheels thanks for the reply. Keep up the great content

What’s a good fuel pump for 160/0 500 horse 7.3?
To start, 160/0s won’t make anywhere near 500hp. The stock superduty fuel pump should keep up with them just fine. I’m not sure if the OBS would. Best bet is to get a way to monitor fuel psi.
@@LivingOnWheels I’ve done a lot of other things and with tuning, yes I’m pushing 500
Those are the same sticks I had in my first build. With a turbo, custom fuel system, and custom tunes. I would bet money that my hottest tune was under 400 to the wheels. If you ever dyno near 500 though I’d love to see it.
@@LivingOnWheelswell I do live in central oregon, not to far from you.
Werewolf slayer
Swap mirrors and lights before you sell your other one. That truck also has l99 powerstroke badges on the door and not the e99 badges on the fender.
Yes, based on the badging I too was surprised by the e99 motor but it has it and the e99 front end.
@@LivingOnWheels what's build date on door sticker. Wonder if engine been replaced.
The build date on the door is 12/98 so the e99 engine makes sense. I have never seen one with the door badging and not the v8 fender badge. The badges look weathered enough to be original. Im just going to tell myself that it is a super rare truck 🤣
@@LivingOnWheels I think the cut off date was like 12/7/98. Anything built after that is a l99. I'm sure you know how to look at the turbo spider and stuff and easily be able to tell if it's a early or late motor.
Oh yes, it is undoubtedly an E99 engine.

Thought had a Cummins now ? Now you another 7.3 that you selling ??????
Moby
Haha dangggggggggg
NOOOOOOooo😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bubba
First thought was he gone and done dodge again 😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️….you bought the best truck, 4 full doors and a long bed. It’s the most complete check every box for an all around truck, truck 😂.
Haha not this time. It’s a solid truck I hope to keep around for a long time.
@@LivingOnWheels sure it will it’s a 7.3😎
Hell yeah brother!!! Joe, you almost caused me a stroke🥵😂. How do you find these Awesome deals?!!!👍😁. You know you're gonna have to name this one, "silver bullet"🫡
I spend way to much time looking 😂
