That 3rd gear on the MCS frightens me even in stock form ! (We have narrow country lanes in Norfolk, UK) The turbo seems to provide full boost from 3rd, up. The speed leaps from about 50mph upwards. Luckily, we can easily get 99 octane fuel !
Watching this feels like the background is fake and then the truck comes around the corner before the 1 min mark at first glance it’s like the ladders are actually a player name icon like you’d see in a video game
Just curious what your final numbers are HP, Torque, 0-60 ? Just getting ready to install my Dinan in a week and have the CTS intake as well. Good looking Mini 👍! Safe driving out there
Hey man, I owned a second generation, stage 3 manic tuned with flames and pops like crazy. I miss that car a lot! Can you tell me if the stage 2 requires removal of all cats and a catless downpipe? Just curious what it needs on these cars to go to stage 2? Can you give me a list of what to change to make stage 2 possible? I’m debating a new mini purchase and I thought about another R56 but I’m debating the newer ones now. Thanks!! I own a C6 Z06 now but the mini was still more fun overall! Probably will sell the vette soon.
I'll watch out for that, thanks. One of my friend has a 2021 JCW, and he told me that the older Elite might not work well with LCI JCW's (produced after 2019). He said Dinan is making a new one for the LCI cars and he'll get it when it comes out. I think your problem might be related to that.
where to get this dinan elite stage 1 tune? I have a 2018 Countryman S looking for a tune too, that 2.0 turbo they put into the countryman just way too less power to push a big body like that.
@@KevinonCars cool, thanks. I am going to check it out. I just have the Cold air intake from Dinan, and Exhaust from Remus installed not long ago, so the tune is a must. thanks again.
I have this tune (Dinan Elite) and it is good! However I'm now staged II and will be selling my stage 1 Dinan Elite module. If any serious inquiries in NY area, let's meet
@@KevinonCars noticeably for sure! I believe I got used to when DINAN ELITE power will kick in. If I kept MCS stock, I would have stayed with DINAN ELITE module. However it lead to UPgrades that superseded that module and a stage 2 remapp was necessary.
@@FurkanCemTurfanda good looks for that info...I'll need more info about this queens meet UP!? As for pricing I'm reasonable. I paid $907 for DINAN ELITE MODULE so you name a fair price.
There are divided opinions on this topic. I went with Dinan because they're known for making bmw/mini tunes. However, I've heard great things about the JB4+. Personally, I've not tried a JB4 mini yet, so I can't really compare them.

Agreed! We only get 91 here in California, so jealous of your 99 octane haha
99 is UK standards, that's like about 93 here @@KevinonCars
Cool driving…great car 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you 👍
You might want to consider a ESD or more traction
Great video 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you!!
Cool!😎
Do you have other options on your head up cause i havent the rpm on my and but i want to
Awesome video! Amazing quality also, what are you using to record?
Thanks. I used a GoPro hero 10
Two places that I called told em that Dinan Stage 1 gives them check engine light on them. How’s yours been?

Did the 1st gear throttle delay go away with this flash?
Try to keep your head from tilting. It hurts one’s ability to steer at speed

Awesome! I don't know the exact numbers, but the power increase is definitely noticeable!
When i went with the Evolve stage 2 on my Cooper S i went from 28 or so mpg to 22. But I do shoot flames like every pop and bang haha.
Haha worth it
@@KevinonCars Oh yeah it was totally worth it haha, if you wanna see what mine looks like my Instagram is Andrew.F56

Told my wife i was keeping the jcw stock.... not so sure anymore😂
Mine was faulty and really started to fail after the warranty so I was screwed. I'll never buy dinan again. Mini cooper jcw 2019
Damn that sucks. How did it fail?

I agree. I bought mine online and just installed it myself. I'm not sure if there's one for countryman thought. You should double check online.

How do you install the tune. Is it just plug and play or did you have to send your ecu out

what engine do you have b46?
b48 I believe
