I have the JCW tuning kit on mine… very fun. The exhaust isn’t loud compared to what you hear out of a V8, but major fun! I got tired of having to turn it on all the time, so, I turned it on, then unplugged the bluetooth module…that keeps the flap open all the time.😎
You have to come and experience my Mini. It's making a little over 300 crank hp and a AWE Tuning Track Exhaust and catless downpipe. It also has the passenger display in it. I just did the Forge intercooler and boost pipes too.
Can u give me some info on your mods and the install? I just did a downpipe on my f56 JCW. Looking to do exhaust and tune soon maybe intercooler as well. Thanks!
@@graydeanj That is currently everything I have done to my Mini - Aodhan LS001 18x8, K-Sport coilovers, K&N Cold Air intake, Forge short shifter kit, LED headlights, Smoked side turn signals, Sneed4Speed front splitter with supports, Sneed4Speed side skirts, Sneed4Speed Rear set delete, CravenSpeed Short shifter, AWE Tuning Track Exhaust, Racing Dynamics Catless downpipe, Forge hard intake pipe, Mishimoto shift knob, Black Flag USA shift boot delete, SCP Halo Fog lights, BAF Motorsports K-Brace, Autosonus Passenger display, Evolve Stage 2 tune +1psi, SCP 8cm antenna, Ultraracing Strut Bar, Forge intercooler, Forge Boost Pipes. My tune was pretty simple. Get a laptop, connect OBD2 plug to laptop, open Evolve application, flash the tuned file I was sent. The exhaust I have only has a resonator on it and it don’t drone bad at all 85mph and below, anything above it gets kinda bad from drone haha. The intercooler. I’d give yourself like 6 hours to pull and put the new one in. It’s a lot of work but totally worth it. I put mine in without using the instructions because I was looking at videos about it before I even got one haha.
The first thing I saw was the brakes… and the ugly stripe across And err… wider rear tires more traction ?! Btw my German 2015 cooper S has 192 hp not 189…. Also as an elder person I find the electronic built in provision for popping and funny noises just weird. In my Porsche club a guy has a 1973 Porsche S tuned to 380 hp and when I follow that car on a track like Spielberg, you can see the flames, and you now the pops happen for a reason and not cause a shitty little computer decided to produce them…. Just my 2 cents…
I've had 3 jcws every generation then I thought I would get something new bought a renault rs300 trophy new totally miss the mini lol they are brilliant I must get another one enjoy the car
I decided modifying my own vehicle make more power but I decided wait little longer till warranty on powertrain expires than I can modify it tuning If I don’t have have to wait than warranty will be void if I messed up or blew up the engine
The F generation minis are pretty reliable actually. Mine is at 75k miles and driven extremely hard with 0 problems. I think you might be thinking of older minis that have an infinite amount of issues.

Agreed completely! I also unplugged on mine :)
The car is just rock just floating on the wind. It’s put down real good. Get the proper rubber boys.🎉
Number one fan right here!!

what's the name of the place where you tuned your car
You just need to buy the Dinan Elite Tune and install it yourself
