Ohh you guys gotta take it easy - no one actually got molested in the episode. What made this episode so funny to me was the speculation on whether Charlie actually got molested and the way Charlie was reacting just making it seem more and more like he definitely did!!
Finally in the scene where Charlie points to the doll's buttcrack to show his family where he was touched...the background music, Uncle Jack's commentary, that whole scene is gold!!

I do find the episode funny. However, I forget what the video is called and who made it, but they describe how sexual assault on men, something really horrific that can have lasting effects for generations, has been made light hearted, goofy, and almost accepted in movies, film, Hollywood, etc. You can absolutely make jokes about it, but It's just troublesome that society has dismissed men's sexual assault when it is such a big problem, and this episode kind of contributes to that problem

​@@CoolHandLuke196 I can understand and appreciate your take on this episode. It's definitely true that society dismisses sexual assault on men. In fact, it happens so often and has been for so long that that alone is almost a joke in itself.
The only thing I'm not too keen on is the idea that this episode contributes to that problem. Albeit they did use male sexual assault as the underlying premise for the humor, as I mentioned above, the final conclusion was that no sexual assault ever occurred. In my opinion, most of the humor of the episode came from the speculation and subsequent investigation into whether Charlie was indeed molested and not the act of molesting itself.

I remember seeing the ads for the show during the first season. The ads made the show look like garbage. It looked so bad that I recall scoffing at even giving it a chance. The first episode I watched was basically on accident (I don't remember which episode it was, just that Kaitlin was in the scene)...I was flipping through the channels and just landed on the show. I was blown away at how funny it was, and stunned that this was 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'. I was a vocal fan at that point.
The ads made it look like a different show.

Sunny superfan here. Legit have watched every episode 10x (the latest seasons at least 3x) and i can confidently say that bar none this is the funniest live action sitcom ever created. In my humble opinion. Now I am 29 going on 30 and I got turned onto this show in about '09 I want to say. I used to see commercials about it and was like I'll never watch that, then my buddy convinced me to watch a couple of episodes and i got hooked. I introduced it to my friend who was also skeptical and it is now his favorite live action sitcom ever. Obviously the gang will never read this but just shows that you can do whatever the hell you want with persistence. Thank you so much rob mcelhenney (sorry if I spelled it wrong) charlie day, Glenn howerton, Danny devito and all of the supporting cast and crew for creating the best live action sitcom ever! I hope you guys go 30 seasons!

I was so surprised by them saying they don't think this episode is that good. It is one of my favourites and a really dark one...which is why it is one of my favourites. It also happens the be the highest rated one of the season on IMDB...which means...something?
Mac focusing on himself not being the victim but also the BLOWING part of it is hilarious, Uncle Jack being at his creepiest and most outrageous, it is great stuff. He definitely cared more about diddling kids then his hands back then. I can see one of those 2 things being easier to work with for a recurring character then the other, though...
