  • My favorite type of brainspotting is called "gazespotting". Check this video out to see what it means and how you might already be doing it!
I love that brainspotting can give us so many different options for healing. It is not a cookie cutter or one-size-fits-all approach by any means. Every client I do brainspottting with has an individualized plan and way of doing things that feels the most safe, appropriate, and productive. Gaze-spotting is an organic process, something we all do without even noticing it! But it's not until you meet with a brainspotting therapist who can clue you in to what is happening and how to take charge of the processing, that things really start rolling.

In therapy I use a combination of empirically validated and researched techniques for the treatment of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and treatment of eating disorders. The ideas from my videos are frequently adapted from multiple sources and are used in my own practice with my clients. Many of these techniques come from the founder of Brainspotting, David Grand, and from the work of EMDR creator and founder, Francine Shapiro. I am also Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) certified, and have an additional certification in Fitness and Nutrition Coaching from National Exercise Sports Training Association.

I have been watching your videos and am fascinated with Brainspotting. However I would love to see you do a video on start to finish of the actual process.
