- Milk cake (tres leches cake) is a soft and moist cake that is soaked with a mixture of 3 types of milk, hence the name tres leches. Top it with whipped cream and enjoy!
This is a biscoff milk cake recipe.
Ingredients:
For cake:
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1½ tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp
Eggs - 5 (seperated into yolks and whites)
Granulated sugar - 1 cup (divided into ¾ and ¼ cup)
Milk - ¼ cup
Vanilla essence -1 tsp
For 3 milk syrup:
Evaporated milk - 1¼ cup
Sweetened condensed milk - 1 cup
Heavy cream /milk - ¼ cup
Melted biscoff spread - 1 cup
For whipped cream:
Whipping cream - 1½ cup
Powdered sugar - 1½ tbsp
Melted biscoff spread and crushed biscoff cookies for topping

Is it better with plain or self raising flour?
I used plain all purpose flour for this recipe and it was perfect 🙂

You can get it from the big stores in Pakistan..
Can I use normal milk instead of evaporated milk? I
I've never tried it with regular milk. I don't think it will have the same result.
