- Hi! Today's entry in the "I Visited" series has me visiting the Sheffield Supertram! And also my first time seeing the Class 399 tram-trains!

The tram to halfway never reaches its destination. It just goes half way.
I love that Halfway is a terminus and not half-way at all! Keep up the great videos. I enjoy watching and love your enthusiasm.
I think its a pub and its Halfway to somewhere in the Derbyshire dales
They should extend that branck to be double the size, hence solving this pressing issue.
I think it was originally halfway between Rotherham and Chesterfield with a pub of the same name on the old main road but no one seems to be sure.

Lived in Sheffield for a while, it's a wonderful city, very studenty. Meadow Hall, unaffectionally known as Meadow HELL, convinced me that the UK has become a mono culture of shopping malls. Everywhere, there will be an M&S, Pizza Hut, Next, Costa, McDonald's etc.
A city/town loses its individuality to the bland corporations. I've particularly noticed this with food. Going to Plymouth and being unable to buy a pasty. In London watching Pie 'n: Mash shops closing down. Going to Newcastle and asking for Pan Haggerty or a Saveloy dip.
Love the new mic and that you kept the glitch with you in the vid, so honest. Keep up the good work.
PS I'm learning to love trams
I agree. The big corporates have sterilised towns and cities. Small independents should be given cheaper rates and benefits so they can compete. They're proudly opened a huge new shopping centre in the middle of my town but it's just the same old crap inside.
You should come back to Sheffield to visit again, it's changed a lot and not in a good way. Fargate is dead, John Lewis is gone and half of city centre is just housing or soon to be housing anyway
it's slowly starting to improve again
A few years ago they got Jarvis Cocker from Pulp to read out the tram announcements.
For somone who's been to Sheffield meny of a times it good to see that he's done it
Love the new mic, it sounds great. My I request you mention fares, days tickets and so on in future videos like these? It would be a quiet nice addition. Just a "Single fares are between £X and £Y, but a day ticket is £Z" if you get me. It'd be a great addition to this little series.

Been a long while since I've ridden the Supertram. My grandparents lived in Middlewood, so I would ride the whole line to Meadowhall and back! 🙂
Trams are good, great video and still need to ride a Class 399
They're pretty good! Although they seem to be cursed with making my stabilisation stop working!
