How to Turbo a Honda Beat | DIY Turbo Manifold

- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- It was long overdue to make a new turbo manifold for the Honda Beat. It's been on the to-do list for so long and I'm happy with how it turned out! Now I can run the exhaust and intercooler piping and get the car back on the road! Glad to finally finish this car up!

Thanks!
I wish there was more content on this project
You probably harden the stainless while cutting and it dulled your blade, it its very sensitive to heat, that's why i always use some type of cutting fluid or paste, and wait for the parts to cool off after each cut, great job man, i envy your car so much
That makes a lot of sense! Thank you so much!
Really cool video. The manifold welds look solid. 👍🏽 add some oil to the blade between cuts, I usually see a milky mix of oil and water. Looking forward to the next upload. Thanks for sharing.
I will definitely use more cutting fluid next time! And thanks for watching!
You’re so professional!! Fantastic job!!!
Thank you!! 🫶
Glad to know that you like our #Addmotor #M66R7 ebike. Nice ride!👍
The bike is awesome! Thank you!
Great vid man. I did my manifold for my twincharged set up in a similar way, but I used black pipe from hardware store and welded that to the stock manifold flanges.
Cool video, keen to see the whole setup.
Would you consider releasing the files for the flanges? Could be useful if I ever turbo my Beat.
Absolutely! I’ll clean the files up and have them available for download on our website in a couple days.
you need to cool the blades by cutting or drilling 🙂 Further, i guess the airflow of that maifold is not optimal - may overhaul it for better constant flow. Great video done, a joy to watch
Thank you so much!
I want to turbo my Beat too but I don't have the resources to make my own parts or learn how to :( Hopefully that kit comes out soon though :)
The kit is going to be awesome
Gained a new sub! I’m loving the content. Keep it up. You have a bright future fr. Excited for future uploads!
Thanks!
Great video. Nice fab and welding job. What welder did you end up getting? Congrats on sponsorship. Mahalo for sharing! 🙏🙂🐒
Thanks Gary! Just got the newer version of the harbor freight welder 😅. Tbh I liked the old one so much for the value so figured I’d go with it again
Amazing work I’m looking into grabbing a Honda Beat myself
Thanks! You won’t regret picking one up they’re so fun!
I love your channel, a lot of what you do is pretty jank but awesome, those welds aren't that bad though! I've seen worse on aftermarket headers
lol I appreciate the honesty. Welcome to the unpolished side of UA-cam haha 😆
@@IMEEMADE I sincerely love it, I hope you post more!
You're a very clever guy, very well done sir. I wish I had a proper place to do all my messin, & thanks for pronouncing Aluminium the proper way 😅
Haha thanks mate!
Very cool!
Thanks Ethan!
How many hp does it create now, with the officially conpleted turbo addition?
Amazing build 👌💪👑
That was absolutely video 😀😀
Thank you!
This is a really great job except that the exhaust gas flow could be better
Wondering what you did for ecu tuning?
Using a piggy back with the stock ecu
Nice, what about the intake manifold?
What does the beat feel like? I got a eg8 ballade, and I’m interested in getting one of these❤️🔥
It’s hard to describe it compared to any other car. The driving experience is pretty unique overall which is what makes its so much fun
Hey man, love your contact but please upload regularly
Thank you so much! I’m trying!!
Could you make one to order, payment upfront..
Would you be willing to share the send cut send file so I can have some flanges made?
It’s available for purchase on our website! imeemade.com/downloads/hondabeatexhaustflange
@@IMEEMADE does this have the corrected spacing for the bolt alignment
@@MrJustin86hunting Absolutely! Made sure to make the proper adjustments
🙏🏼
🙌
More turbo videos, please.
Coming right up!

Just to clear it up. Aluminium has a I towards the end. So the pronouncation of aluminum (American) is incorrect. The way Americans pronounce it is the equivalent of calling helium - helum, potassium - potassum. Well it's just not right. Nothing but love for Americans but yer you butcher the language and English is not my first language ♥️🏴
Aluminum and aluminium are both accpeted as correct spellings. They both originate from Sir Humphry Davy's proposal, "alumium." Davy later used the American spelling in his works, while other publications used the European spelling, causing the divide. It's not a issue of pronunciation, but rather of spelling. Since it was spelt differently, it's pronounced differently. That's why there's only debate over alumin(i)um and not other elements, such as potassium, which was also named by Sir Davy.
