#JasonRichardson #LukeHolland #Tendinitis
Jason Richardson grew up listening to dream theater and sounds like this, I wonder what kids will sound like growing up listening to Jason Richardson 🤯
whoa..
Guess im gonna be a god
If anything I would say they would sound worse, they may be technically better but I’d say Jason’s writing is about as fast as you can go without it sounding trash
Wondering where he learned. Luke Holland is self-taught.
@@SantomPh Jason had a good teacher along with natural talent and drive to practice.
Even though I technically play guitar, I feel like I’m closer in species to a llama than I am to this guy.
@Robert Johnson I was just scrolling through the comments and this just might be the most accurate thing I’ve ever heard😂I’m dying right now
Bro you totally cracked me up...lol...and indeed same here haha
Dude, same!!!
Lmfao, I choked on water reading this 😂🤣
that's about correct

Jason: I've written a 10 minute song
Recording company: sorry we only have 5 minutes and 22 seconds of recording time for you.
Jason: bet
that is one hell of a riff
You mean the one from 0:00-5:22? I thought it was neat.
Rich, do you want to make a cover on that?

Yeah, I just threw out all my drum sticks...

This isn’t a song guys...it’s a flex. They didn’t have to play this level. But they did to remind us of their power.

Jeff Larch what's the point of a fucking comment like this if you actually like the music
Holy shit, I can't believe I haven't heard of this guy before. I saw him live last night in Malta as a support for Dream Theater.
Luke and Jason killed it, when they started playing I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. I've been to a thousand shows and never once support band left that kind of impression.
I bought the album and I'm listening to it non stop. This is insane 👍
I saw them as a support for Dream Theater at Taormina!!
They were both awesome!!
@Sean S. DIdn't he leave because of creative differences? Jason just wants to game ham but deathcore bands care a bit too much about the 000.
THAT is JASON RICHARDSON
Check out Sergey Golovin as well

Thank you for the rec 👍. I've been listening to his work lately and he is fantastic as well.
Through the Fire and Flames just got obliterated by this song......
That song isn't even remotely hard, it's just good.
@@aaronhall4520 please post yourself doing the main riff full speed
@@bslazekan5778 The main riff is literally just trem picking tho... You can argue the sweeps are hard but they are still basic shapes.
That's actually simple ..nothing much

When Luke Holland actually teams up with someone with talent. Good things happen.
His drumming skill really shows on this song. Great groove and amazing technical showcase.
Everyone in TWA is extremely talented man. They're music is weird now, but lets not act like they're first couple albums just don't exist anymore lol
You said it.. they USED to be awesome which sucks.. Loved those guys.. last 2 albums.. sell outs
Tracy Johnson yeah but it isn't like their talent disappears. Real was a sick album

The title of this song was chosen as a warning to those who dare attempt to learn this song. Also proceeds from this song go to the Arthritis foundation.
Im learning it atm lmao its fucking hard
@Ampeli Guitar hahaha thanks but fuck im actually extremely close to doing it full sperd
I just started learning it from his lesson video and now I’m hooked on his composition style, I never understood the intricacy of his writing and honestly, it’s all really fun to play so far. Haven’t gotten to the really crazy parts yet though :/
I really like the speed and aggression this song has. something most djent lacks.
It's usually the amount of low end and feedback Djentheads like to cut off, the bass here is overdriven and goes through Jason's JST plugin so that it's that beefy
Listen to carbomb and try saying that again
@@TronciM Car bomb are prententious try hards. Zzzzzzz
@@Leatherfacet 😐
I wouldn't really say this is djent. There's almost no rhythmic weirdness or groovy low end
When God finds out there's another God and they start jamming music together.
He is doing a collaboration with John Petrucci , Tosin Abasi and others so it tallies out
Luke is just playing the composition from Jason. Jason write also drums, and he have an amazing imagination. Luke´s composition are not too great in my personal opinion, but to covering drums and songs is awesome, that´s why I think that Jason pick him up to cover and humanizy their songs. Also Luke have an excellent accuracy, and that helps too much on stage.
True Indeed
Isaac Gonzalez yeah nahhh I wrote & tracked all the drums for our stuff
Jesus. I can't imagine anyone will be asking for tabs since you're the only person ever that will be able to play this 🔥🔥

Luke:How fast?
Jason:yes
Hey Jason, I've been playing 51 years. You play like I had envisioned many years ago. I'm still stuck on 17th thru 19th century music lol. Great jam!
why is this set to 2X speed??... oh wait, that was normal speed...
Jared Dines hahahah
Jared Dines watched at 2x speed and it sounds like sonic busting a nut haha!!
Watched it at.5 speed and sounds heavy
jared!!
Jared Dines ur actual music is terrible and u dress like an edgy 13 year old
I like to think that Jason's enormous watch is akin to Rock Lee's ankle weights in that if he were to take it off, he would absolutely destroy his hands and guitar from sheer shred speed and power
Nate Bassili if you compare him to rock Lee I would love to see Jason's drunken shred style haha. Naruto 4 life
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Or like Goku 🔥🐵
Love from India 🇮🇳.. Saw you guys in Mumbai last night. Insane show! These guys started with this song.. absolutely incredible!!!
This touched something in my brain and I can't describe what, but holy shit. I think its the rhythms. As a marching band drummer, stuff like that just...hits different. I legit might have cried a little.
It's called tendinitis because you will get it if try to learn this song
Tendonitis
Omg... It's impossible
Come on nik, you can do it!
Absolute mad lad
Nik Nocturnal just cover 000's then
In the live stream right now lol
You can do it!.... Just Do it!!
I’ve had 17 full body cramps listening to this song

Pretty awesome seeing two young dudes just owning their instruments like this.
Saw them do this live and I was amazed
downshift 111 my first time ever hearing about him was at a concert a couple months back where they played this song, I was blown away, been a fan ever since
Though these guys are good, Charles Caswell is the one true god. Shits all over this.
bahahahaa I'm sorry man, that crossed the line a bit. I have followed Charles since before he released Exi(s)t with Reflections way back when, but, I mean, yeah Charles is insanely good and all, but ehhh.. I just honestly think that Jason sounds a fair bit more musical and organic in his style of playing.
Charles is a damn good player but a terrible solo writer all his songs are just shit noise and stupid effects.
Looking forward to seeing him open for Babymetal and Dethklok at Freedom Hill outside Detroit!
Listening to the audio: wow these two guitarists can play in harmony really well together!
Seeing the video and realizing it's only one guitarist: oh... I see now
There are multiple guitars. This is a music video, not a live performance.
It's like you guys were meant to meet like tenac and ious d

Jason Richardson is my favorite guitarist ever, Even if I could never do half what he does on guitar the dude is a true inspiration to me!
I can see why this song is titled "Tendonitis"... it'll give you tendonitis if you try and learn it. That, and when Jason is an old man, this will be the song that caused him to get tendonitis. Insane! Amazing!
It's so fucking cool to watch all the instagram vids of these riffs and licks and then see how it all came together in the end. Masterpiece in my opinion.
Was on the phone when the notification came up and said I’d call’em back. Gonna watch a 2nd time before I call’em. Strong work 👊🏻
AdrenLnFueledScholar life’s all about dem priorities n a healthy balance in between 🤪🤜🏽🤘🏼😉
If I practiced for 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, I MIGHT match his licks in about 500 years time.
That performance left me stunned...in awe.....enlightened. That was so brutal and melodic. Jason must make other guitar gods feel like they are tone-deaf hacks. The best shredding I have seen in a LONG time.
The people who disliked this video are obviously seething with jealousy from those insane runs.
Angry polyphia
@Martín Aragón comparing to this shit polyphia are goats
@Martín Aragón okay I can agree with this too
@Martín Aragón i don't care who of them is a better guitarist, but in the terms of composing music jason richardson is just shit
They're both good lmao
@Martín Aragón Agreed. Polyphia makes me cringe every time I hear them play.
My lord why the downvotes!? This album is like listening to a movie soundtrack.
I'm glad to see that Luke Holland and Jason beautifully crafted the drums and guitar sequences to compliment each other. Soooooo well done 😀

Think I've watched this around 156 times so far, can't get enough of it man!! *Jason* you BEAST *
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT ANOTHER ALBUM
Jason LovesABR prolly a year or two at least... we’re lucky to get this song to be honest.. as his well is probably damn near dried up.. he’ll need to sit, and think, and live and love to come up with more material for a little while... such is, the life of an artist... right?
Jason has been working on his second solo album since after releasing his first, so i'm sure this is just the first of many singles to come from the next album.
ashley collins Haha good point, I am not rushing the genius by any means. Honestly, I have more than enough music to listen to. We were gifted with new Bleeding Through, Breaking Benjamin, Tremonti, and Sevendust singles today so I am burnt out with all of this headbanging 😂
Nice picture man. I’m excited for the new dgd album.
This song is already god tier amazing, the orchestral accompaniment makes it so much better
My 26 year old son introduced me to this, I'm 64 and it takes a lot to impress me but these guys do it with ease. Blown away (:

Beautiful, just beautiful
431 dislikes is from Yngwie Malmsteen with his 431 google accounts.
Go learn one of the solos from the Fire and Ice album. And play them with the same clean tone that Yngwie does. Good luck.... Yngwie might be a has been but few players comes close in terms of, speed and tone. His circular picking is basically unmatched.

2 of the most talented musicians in the world! Love it!
been waiting for this since you guys played it at the intervals tour 🙌🏽
Thank you for the dedication and work you put into creating your album! I love it! 👏❤️
I love everything about this song!
Jason Richardson is this generation's John Petrucci. I had this thought a long time ago and with everything he does. He only supports that theory more and more. At this point, I don't think anyone could out-do him on guitar. Not even John himself....
Not to knock Jason, but saying he is better than Petrucci is ridiculous. Jason has one style, which he does very well, but he doesn't have the versatility of JP. Saying one guitarist is better than the other is silly to begin with since 'guitar' encompasses hundreds of different things.
Colorado MtnRider
Two words: Hos Down, he had a country and jazz solo in that one song alone. And he's very versatile. He proves that with his solo album. Jason has very focused interests but he can master whatever he wants. He's definitely got John beat on technical skills at least.
Taye Goodloe You're crazy if you think JP can't play anything JR plays.
Everything Jason touched turns to gold.
Kevin Benoit Nice guy too, saw him on the Polyphia tour last year, he was really friendly to all the fans.
The fact that Luke can do all that so GOSH DAMN CASUALLY blows my mind. Dude’s a legend
And he’s like
Only 3 years older than me
That's part of the technique. If you try too hard to play fast and don't learn to relax at high speeds, you will fail.
@@bakarenibsheut12 obviously
@@M4ttHatt3r Sorry if I sounded condescending. I used to find playing like that very impressive until I started to be able to do similar things (still nowhere near Jason's level, of course), so I wasn't aware of the mental aspects of it, and I guess I wrongly assumed you didn't know the same stuff I didn't know at the time.
