So sorry for your loss. Accept my condolences ❤.
Rob did GREAT at the Invitational 👍.
Don't let your placements diminish from how great of an accomplishment it is to be part of this lineup lineup to begin with. I'm an engineer and I can't say and top 10 in the world in my field, how many of us could say so? You are doing great
Sorry to hear about Joey's loss and I'm sure she is proud of both of you and your effort... yes I said "what's he doing wrapping that rope around his back..."
I’m sorry to hear that Joey I lost my own mum about 4 weeks ago suddenly it’s devastating 😢
I watched the competition and really felt for you. I know you haven't been on top of the leader board as often as some of the other's but you are a champion none the less. I'm thankful for you and Joey, standing out in a sport that is tougher than tough. Joey, I am very sorry for your mother's passing. I'm wishing you both well.
I am so sorry to hear your loss Joey. I hope you can find some sense of peace you need at this time. I do want to thank Rob for taking time to stop and take a picture with me and my 7-year-old at the competition. Thank you both for being such an ambassador for the sport as well as for those of us in the LGBTQ community. You pushed hard through the competition and we could see that live. You’ll come back stronger. 💪🏼 🏳️🌈 ❤️
Oh the deadlift went off without a HITCH!
I'm sorry for your loss, Joey.
You did great. You're not the only one who felt off.
Shame you are not coming to Liverpool. Good Luck. Sorry for your loss. Take care , both of you.❤
Very interesting to hear your perspective on each event. Thanks, No doubt you made Joey's mom proud
Sorry to hear the loss
Was great to watch you smash that yoke into press. 💪
Between the technique monster that is Novikov and the ridiculous strength of some of the new competitors (P A V L O is wiiiide), Rob did amazing.
That intro is pretty cool :D
So sorry for your sad news, my Mum Inlaw passed away just as the first Covid UK lockdown happened. I hope Joey will be ok. You did brilliantly at the rogue by the way, they just weren't all ideal events for you this time.
You definitely dealt with some curveballs with this one. I'm sure you get tired of saying it or hearing it but to place the way you do being one of the shortest competitors is pretty impressive. Things like the height of the stones and grip heavy events really do put you at a disadvantage, but you keep progressing. Great work, and great support from Joey. The fact that he can help you stick with a plan, like the "take your time with the pick" advice, is great. Looking forward to your next comp!
Tbh they should start counting reps as points on some events, would make things more interesting and more fair I think
❤ sorry for your loss Joey and Rob ❤❤❤
…what was the rope technique, I was screaming at you to stop via the livestream 😂❤
I am so sorry for your loss! These things take their toll, no matter what you think or do. I am glad to hear that you an your handsome husband handles the loss in a good way. Greetings all the way from Norway.
Love these post event SITREPs
Love seeing you in shows, Rob...hope to meet you up here in the PNW one of these times. Excellent growth on a lot of events, even if you didn't get to podium! Condolences on your loss, though, I'm sure she was awesome. Take the time away that you need.
The rep Martins was given on the dumbbell and the log was ridiculous, it is completely unfair to the other athletes. Had to get that out there. lol
I am 100% sure your Mum was watching and incredibly proud of you both for finding the strength to go and compete. 💜
In fairness Martin's has stated he's watched and agrees he shouldn't have been given the rep.
@@mmoskowitz9 I know but each placing higher means more money for the athlete. It could have been a place higher for Pavlo or others.
@@philmitchell9413 it sucks but don't blame martins or even Magnus for his mistakes, mistakes happen. Proper judging and refereeing in strongman is needed not just one guy in front eyeballing it. Sooner or later mistakes happen, it's human
@@flask9712 I am in no way blaming Martins. Saying mistakes happen because we are human is not a good enough excuse when money is on the line.
Every single person watching knew they were both bad lifts. Perhaps one mistake okay but when it happens to the same person twice it does bring up other questions.
Great job especially with all you had going on
You kind of touched on it barely, but do you believe that your efforts and performance was enough to make Joey's mama proud? I'm sure it was but I would be interested in your perspective on that. I totally understand (and apologize) if that question is a bit too personal and you'd rather not answer. I love you guys and I'm SO VERY SORRY for your loss!
Sorry for your loss
So Sorry Joey,Martins Mentioned Rob Yesterday💘
