A snapping kick is generally one that is chambered. In this Bruce was specifically referring to the "snap" of returning the leg to the chambered position after each kick. I like to think of it being a rubber band - It gets stretched when the kick is thrown, and snaps back to the chambered position after each kick.
You’re absolutely right. But that doesn’t take anything away from Bruce Lee. Bruce was a film fighter and philosopher. His impact on martial arts and cinema is infinite.
