Nicely done! I have the same shifter I'll be installing in my 74 F100 as soon as I rebuild my C6 trans. The F series trucks had column mounted NSS all the way thru 77 or 78. That old switch can be rather expensive now, hope you didn't toss it lol.
No I'm keeping all my stuff everything is put away I had factory air and everything was there .,😳 Rap song ? I took off all the stuff in the engine bay put it in a box
That was a fun install although if you can do it without cutting the factory shift arm off . I had to cut mine to make room for the Band M arm it was hard to do in the truck better get a spare and cut that Dave your old one .
@@TheThirdWheel618 I'm tearing down my trans now, so it will be easy to cut once the lever is out of the case. I'll never put the column shifter back in it so no big deal.
Thanks for taking the time to show installation of the shifter and show casing the little unforseen glitches. So how does it function while driving and have you had to do any readjusting? Also is there a light on the shift indicator that allows you to see indicator marks for night time driving. Got to ask how that gear vendor overdrive is working out for you......
All is good on Everything 👍 it was a fun install on the B&M no adjusting needed so far checked the cable the other day at the transmission linkage still has the wiggle play it needs . It's pretty tough so you can man handle the shifts with no issues I am enjoying the heck out of the gear vendors it was like a new truck from day 1 I dropped around 500-650 Rpm on the Fwy that's huge for gas milage 3:73 rear axle gear vendor on is now 2:91 I like to drive far in it on the Fwy 70 mph at 2,300 rpm 65 is 2,100 RPM worth it for sure .
I am trying to install kit part 80615 the red arrow indicator that came with a black rod with eyelet on one end and other end L shaped linkage type end and another peice black square plastic clip type peice that the arrow arm threads on to. I have not been able to find exact instructions on where & how exactly to install gear position indicator. Good video on your install but did not see how you did that part, nothing on b&m website, thank you for any help you can give. I subscribed to your channel
If that link does not work this will I looked up B & M Shifter on Google there owned by Holly now ? Did not know that.😕. Ok so the search will take you to the shifters on Holly Website Scroll down to the star shifter you have , Scroll down to install instructions bamboo it's on a PDF file right to your phone 📱.
