When you expect a dad joke but end up feeling the feels 😭
that's what makes you more emotional, you don't have the expectation of a skit that's sad or bad

We literally should live to at least 120 year, but because of the type of food, water, air and other things I won't mention, if we see 80 we're considered blessed
I wish humans didn't have to go through the cycle of life and just stopped aging at one point. I mean aging is meant to be a deterioration of your bodily features. Maybe there will be a future someday where humans solve that problem? Either way, I wish you long life and prosperity.

Take care of yourself and life will reward. My dad is in his 60s and still works his excavating job shoveling with my brother and I, hammering cement, and picking up logs and brick. Usually he’s in the excavator but when he hops down to help with the hand work you’d think him more fit than most 20-30 yr olds. It’s a shame people think after 30 or so they just become unable to do physical activity and can’t stay fit for much longer. Truth is, human bodies are very adaptable even in older age.
As a 26 year old man, I’ll make sure to be extra thankful for my youth and to do my best not to squander it.
My dad always said "my body is getting old, but in my mind, I'm still 25." He passed January 30, 2020. He developed Lewy Body dementia and it ravaged him quickly. He was very intelligent, so we noticed things quickly were going wrong. He hated what was happening to him. He was the smartest and strongest man I have ever known, and that disease stole who he was from him. When he passed, he had aged 30 years. He deserved to grow to be an old man. He loved life, and his passing left an enormous hole in our family that has still not been filled. I miss him so much.

She was thinking about her past and probably wanted to go back too. Insit with someone who has dementia and had a aunt who had it when inwas a kid. Neither one of them does that. It just makes me thinknshebwas closer to death than you realize when shebwas doing that. Old people tends to do that around that time. Or at least that is my experience. We had to take care of several older people in the family and that part seems to be very common.
May she rest in peace 🙏
I am working at a retirementhome as a nurse on a station with people who all have dementia and it seems like this is what they go through all the time... some of them being in their 90's saying "tomorrow i will visit my parents" and everytime i hear that i can't let them face reality and lie because it would be horrible to say "they are dead and you are 94 years old" or even ask them how old they think they are... sometimes one of them who can not stand up anymore says they want to go home just for me to reply with something like "i am sorry you are at the hospital and you can not stand up at the moment. We need to take care of you the next days" or something like that. Sometimes a nurse has to be very very creative the way they talk with elderly people and even more with from dementia suffering people. It can be hard to keep an illusion alive just so people do not have a worse time.
You’re an angel to all these people, bless you ❤

I remember rolling my eyes when you told me these things should be invented. Thank you to the producer of this video. We Americans should be ashamed at how horribly we treat our grandparents/elders. 😢❤
84 years, he did very good
My dad died at 84 years only a few months ago. It's hard.
@Skyesoceaneyes May he rest in peace
Mine passed at 47, me being 13 at the time, now 14. That was september 7th 2023. Actually i dont know the full date. Or why, or how... i'm underinformed.. (if thats even a word)
His dads reflections in the windows is a amazing touch. What a good job. Love this family!
Wow i didnt catch that until now
And the photo on the phone!
Not only that! But when the sign is covering his face in that same scene you can see the white beard.
Agreed. You guys are starting to get pretty good at this thing. I don't usually scroll. But when I do. It's mcfarland feed.
Also when he picks up the coin, it's his dad's hand.
I miss my parents. I miss being young too. This made me cry. Spend as much time with your family as you can.
Thats exactly the way it feels!
If only shorts were that deep in meanings, people would be better.

My dad got cancer past year, he recovered and looks so much the same as this man, it really made me tear up he is still with us. Thank you for your video ❤
Your dad is a hero ❤️ wishing you both a happy long life
Act fast. Tell them to stop eating sugar and carbs. They're in drinks and food. Sugar feeds cancer cells. They love it. End cancer naturally by eating healthy.
All of worlds love goes to you
Wish both of you the best 🎉
my dad also got cancer unfortunately he didn't make it he passed away last week I miss him so much 😢
This one got me tearing up. 🥺 Well done. 🩵
Omg the dedication for the vid! The reflection in every frame showed grandpa!
Didn't even realized it. Thanks
The hand picking up the coin is grandpa hand
i saw it and thought to myself "no way this is real"
I missed the hand, too!
Malayali 🙂
This couldn't be more true, im 72 and i dont even realize how fast time is going. I am glad to be supported and i make sure to not miss a single moment with my grandkids. Always appreciate the time you have no matter what age, every second counts.
You’re a real one🥹

أطال الله بعمرك ومدك بالصحة والعافية ❤
I wish I had kids.
every second only last once
All I can say is hold on to your younger self and enjoy being young. You're never guaranteed tomorrow.
I am actually crying 😭😭😭
This video touch my heart ❤️❤️❤️
I'm 30 and I'm still 18 in my head. Wild and it'll only get wilder.
I just turned 32 and I still feel like a teenager even though I am not the same age my mother was when she had me (youngest of 5 kids). The new perspective is crazy. The age I am now, is the age my HS teachers were when they taught me, many of my old friends now how children...like how has all of this happened so fast!
We only start getting old at 30, so you're not any older than you were 10 years ago. That can be sooner or later though, based on how healthy you are. If you wanna stay young for longer, be healthy.
I feel ya, I turned 30 last November and honestly I still feel like I left high school a few months ago. I don’t feel like I’ve aged, more important my body doesn’t feel like it’s breaking down either. It actually feels like the opposite. Lately it’s been unreal, like I’ve been able to actually spread my wings and follow the path I’ve always wanted to. I’m just waiting on my background check to go thru and I’ll be doing what I’ve always felt like I should be.
My amazing Mum told me a couple years before she she passed away at the age of 90 , that she still felt the same as she did when she was 16, it was just her body letting her down. I'm 61 and I can relate perfectly. inside. I'm still a teenager, just my body is getting older.
You all are still so young, enjoy it while it lasts. Wait till you hit 40 then you'll really start to feel like an old person.
Just buried my Dad, he was 63. Appreciate what you have, love hard and deep, don’t hold grudges and don’t waste time.
I am so sorry for your loss❤. I lost mine 5 years ago, even though he was 92, I miss him🙏❤
Same . My dad passed away at 63, 14 months ago, way to early. Brain cancer is aggressive and fast. I agree with all you said. Best wishes for you and your family! Cheers!
My dad passed away almost a month ago. He was also 63. It doesn't matter how long someone has been in your life, it will never feel like enough time.
Sorry for your loss I don't know my dad because of grandfather but my real mum died when I was 5 in 77 & my step mum died on my birthday in 99 spend all the time you can with your parents as 1 day they may not be there RIP Mum love & miss you more every day xxxxx.
Sorry for your loss! 🍀 I hope y'all find the strength for these hard times.
It's also the same for me.
Mine passed away at age 63 unexpectedly due to cardiac arrest after a successful brain tumor surgery.
It happened 15 years ago but he's still sorely missed to this day.
The effects with the reflections and camera is amazing
I like the attention to detail on this clip. The reflection on the glass shows true image while his image shows a younger version. Truly beautiful!
Also the older hand when he picks up the coin
Also at 35 seconds it shows his old self
Lost my mom last year at 85. Just today I looked in the mirror and was reminded I'm not 20 years old any more. So this just hit pretty damn deep on me. I'm not crying, you're crying.
Damn, you lucky though. You can have mom until she at 85. I was 19 when i lost my mom, she was at 55.
edit: She got cancer at 50 and i was 14. I wish someone told me that someone who got cancer don't live longer than 5 years. I was concern about this while she got only one year left at my 18. I know there's nothing i can do. In her last 3 months, she spend day by day really suffer from bladder cancer. I accompany him in hospital everyday until that day come, when she never reply to my voice again..
@@kingki1953i get you're probably just trying to say look on the happy side or something but it really sounds like you're try to one up someone with what couldn't be less of a competition
i just lost my dad last week at the age of 65.
Жизнь странная штука, я вообще не ощущаю себя взрослым. В детстве казалось быть взрослым это круто, а теперь понимаешь, что это скукота и каждый день - день сурка
@@eksboks148 That was so rude. There's no one-upping here. This isn't a situation where we're discussing who made the most of a summer vacation. The guy is just trying to help OP appreciate the time he spent with his mother. Grief is proportional to the memories you create with that person, not necessarily the time you spent or when they departed. All he did was call him lucky and shared his own experience, and now you're trying to make him feel bad for nothing :(
Bro....im high as hell in Farland, this really brought me to tears.. very deep.❤
For being a short this has quite amazing cinematography, seeing his older self in the camera while his younger perception is still there is very cool
My dad is turning 94 years old. He often says in his head he's still a young man. Life goes by so quickly and you want more time. But you do your best with the time you're given. This made me cry.
You must be in your 70's

This hit me hard. We should nominate it for a short film award
Nope 😂
yeah, it is actually good, maybe ia not the extremely expensive edition and camera but the originality and the message its good and deep
agreed.
I strongly agree.❤
Jesus saves! Repent and turn away from your sins today.
This made me cry. I am 51 and I still see myself in my own eyes as 22.❤😢 But the world treats me like an old lady already
