Micro-Review: Monster Hunter Rise Update 3.0

- This is a quick review of my thoughts on Monster Hunter Rise's update 3.0, which adds Valstrax to the game (along with some other secrets...).

If they made Narwa and Ibushi to have a synergy like Teostra and Lunstra in World, it would probably make the quest the most exciting in all of Rise.
This feels like the game we should've gotten in March. It's a shame they didn't delay the release until now, it left a bad taste in people's mouths to get an unfinished product.
I actually prefer it the way they did it .
This way people who wanted to jump in as soon as possible could do so while people that cared about the full Release could wait the 2 months .
The Most Important Part for me was that it Had Close to 0 Bugs because of the Release would habe Been a Buggy mess then i would have Had a Problem.
But given that that was Not zur Case and that they Had to Deal with Corona and the Data Hack makes it fair Game in my eyes

But seriously I'm glad you liked it and I do agree that Rise being as open with the approach to the endgame stuff not locking things too much is a good approach so that you can freely experiment and study all the new mechanics.
Yea it s*cks that Apex monsters doesn't even have a gear nor a layered armor per se and also the lack of variety with Rampage quests but overall those nitpicks of mine are just too small to be considered as cons.
This game is a blast to play especially it's on a handheld. 👌 And magically it really runs great for how beautiful it looks.
The absolute toxic hatred that some people have for the updates is ridiculous i dont understand why people dont have the patience to wait for the updates and keep complaining of event quests, the big updates and g rank will come but for the love of god please let the devs rest a bit.
@@mpo48 Right? Rest assure the community is still positive it's just the obnoxious minority spamming the same complain over and over again can be loud at times.
@@vivid8979 I think it all comes down to players wanting MHR to be their ONLY game of the year that they can sink literally thousands of hours into. Worldborne's Kulve, Safii, Guiding Lands, and deco farm grind made this easily obtainable. Comparatively, Rise in its current state is a much more streamlined experience that reduces that grind considerably. The amount of "content" will vary from player to player depending on what their goals are and some will reach those goals sooner than others, getting burnt out in the process...
@@jordanbutler6702 You are forgetting how the devs designed the game. Theh clearly said in the interviews that Rise is meant to be a quick grab and play hunt sessions.
Some people will like it some people will not same with the oldee titles some people like the content locking with the amount of obnoxiou grinding some did not.. I prefer Rise's approach with things currently approaching 800 hours. The seamless random quests and ease of weapon crafting and set building enables me to get better with 6 weapons already..
Could not agree more, people have been acting spoiled since the game came out like this is some EA game that its super unfair and half the game is locked behind a paywall, its really sad honestly, Rise is a great example of what a good, consumer friendly, high content videogame is, yet people still complain. I had a lot of fun with Rise, I may not be playing it right now but its not the end of the world, the game will recieve a major update again one day, in the meantime, Stories 2 has my Monster Hunter needs pretty well covered lol

I've really been taking my time with Rise (not helped when I'm also playing Stories 2, haha,) and I'm only on 7-star quests; but I'm glad to see this review! Thanks for getting me excited, now I'm even more eager to jump in and catch up ;)
Now I wanna play rise but I haven't even attained g rank on mhgenu or mhworld!
Can’t wait for the pc port, looks like a more casual experience that I’ve been waiting for
