I'm sharing with you what it costs to have an epoxy flake or polyaspartic flake coating done on a garage floor. The cost to hire someone like me will vary a lot depending on where you live, but what we charge is for hiring a professional floor coating contractor.
This garage floor had a lot of prep that added to the cost, but as you'll see, the garage floor was completely transformed into a showroom-looking garage floor.
I can show you how to fix & repair the concrete so you'll get a brand new-looking floor like this one.
Check out my course below and I can help you learn how to do these coatings the right way.

you are awesome for putting up very educational instructional videos to get an idea what goes into these hard jobs. keep making them videos!
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
That's a beautiful looking floor 🎉 Nice seeing Tia. Outstanding job 👏
Thank you! 🤗
Man I wish you were in Ohio lol. I'm midway through my project now and its hellish. I've learned SO much from your videos. And I'm still in prep phase bc my garage floor was almost worse than this one (NE Ohio winters darn it). In retrospect, a pro would have been worth the cost -- if I weren't already half way there in supplies alone lol. Keep up the vids, love them!!
I like that more traditional looking gray with the blue white black flake
Mike, Thank you for making these videos!! Im constantly amazed at how much you get done and how often you make and release videos.. wow. I need to finish my 600sq shop garage floor. Are the top coated flake floors slippery when they get wet?
Maybe a little, like the concrete would be but no-one has complained and said they're slippery.
What walk behind concrete joint cutting saw do you recommend? Or have great success and experience with?
I primarily like to cut my joints the day after. My understanding is some saws are designed and better at cutting fresh concrete and others are better for aged concrete
Any advise and help is greatly appreciated

Great Job. Great Crew!!!
Thanks for these videos!
My pleasure!
Appreciated the commentary on WHAT you’re doing and WHY…xlnt education vid👍. 3-car garage in SoCal, need to find some estimates and get ‘er done😅
Im having an issue when and when not to use a specific primer under the basecoat?
Black flake floor - BEAUTIFUL!
Can you use The product straight out of a bucket and then roll it on
Question if you were to use aluminum oxide in a top coat using a SL product for a fork lift area what grit aluminum oxide would you use
What's your thoughts on Leggari products vs the Deco-Crete ones you use?
I've never seen the base coat rolled without spreading it first.
Great job guys
So when I buy the course will u give me the contact of the company that sell the special order like that black u using and any other special colors
Yes, the products are talked about in the course and I can tell you whatever else you need to know.
How durable is it with tire rotations, snow, salt, oil, radiator fluid, gasoline, etc? Looking pretty is irrelevant if the product doesn't last and, in the end, makes things worse.
The products we use are very durable, no call backs. That's why we use them!
Thank you captain obvious
looks anazing❤ i love it..
Do you have any leads on installers in SoCal? Riverside county area?
Hi from Melbourne, Australia
Hello!
Perhaps bit of a redundant question Mike, but I am interested in brand of that 14-15" roller cage you use? Been looking for it fooorever and no success. I did asked around and searched and searched but no results. That must be light fiberglass cage vs regular heavier metal ones that are readily available. When rolling over head that weight matters. Thanks in advance.
Purdy makes an expandable paint roller head. From 12-18 inches
@@jamesmoran8335 Thanks! I got that one but am trying to reduce the weight while rolling for a full day with it above my head. One that Mike is using seems to be made from fiberglass hence it is lighter. I've seen it else where too but no clue where to find it or who makes it. It might be older and discontinued item. 🤷♂️
I'll have to go out in the work trailer and look.
@@MikeDayConcrete Thanks mike. I found it. It's called Big Ben from Wooster. Thanks for all the knowledge sharing! 👊
I’m surprised the customer didn’t do the footing
How much is the total?
Total would vary due to square footage of garage. Determine square footage and multiply by $7.50-$10.00.
I turned on CC to watch and says 750/sqf
i bet the owner wishes he had something done with the exposed frost wall.
How in the world is he able to walk on recently applied coating??? It's not sticking to his shoes or leaving marks???
Spike shoes
Spiked shoes and baseball cleats
Well that explains it!
another rip off job by Mike, guess everyone up north has too much money and used to getting ripped off. My garage concrete was less than 1/3 of his quotes in videos, same thing with armorguard flooring, my cost for 800 sq ft was 800$.
Is that the same floor that is peeling in your video? Asking for a friend.
