Oh, congrats on your 100th flights before the end of 2024, wow you travel a lot, I am so proud of you. I forgot that I didn't know you can keep keep your history or flying a plane until you reach 100th flights before the end of 2024, wow you travel a lot.
Thanks! I’ve been traveling much more than I usually do in the past 2 years which is how I got this far lol. I use the myflightradar24 website to log my flights.
Thanks! Unfortunately no snack was served in between the meals (besides a candy at the end, which this was the one Air NZ flight I forgot to film that on). That was actually the only reason why the "Service" score was 7/10 and not higher. Regarding bags though, the "carry on" bag I used for my Alaska airlines flights was required to be checked due to their weight policy, so they are a bit more strict on it than most other carriers I've taken. However, Air New Zealand allows 1 free checked bag so it was no problem.
Is your flight to Los Angeles 85 to 90% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly Air New Zealand to Los Angeles, does it include seat selection and how's passport control for connecting flight, did you enjoy your flight and trip?
@@kevin19358 I don’t remember how full this flight was. Unfortunately I can’t determine the price as I didn’t book this flight. This was a group trip purchased as a single fare (that included the flights, hotels, tours, etc), and the flights were booked by the organization for us. Passport control took I think 30-45 minutes in LAX. Also had to walk far to get to my connecting flight. But yes I did enjoy my flight and trip to the South Pacific.
I see. Sometimes, even on a full service carrier, they charge for seat selection, except the middle seat, which is not good, unless your frequent flyer member like going to the lounge and book points.
@@kevin19358 True. If you get a "main" fare with most full-service US carriers (which I usually do), you can select a seat for free, but nowadays their lowest fares are known as "basic" and you must pay to select a seat if you take that fare.

I see. Last question, does the ticket include seat selection for free or a fee?
@ Selecting seats wasn’t possible in this case as it was a group ticket. I’d assume that on a normal ticket you’d have to pay but I’m not sure.
