Hello from South Carolina, thanks for the info. Some feedback 65 yo,the first time I noticed I had tinnitus was about one year into wearing HA and after a transatlantic flight where I wore the aipPods with noise cancelling for about the whole flight. I live in a very quiet environment and love nature sounds. My tinnitus is kind of a spiraling sound, had blood pressure checked, no problem. I have never been to concerts, but always loved to have the radio in the background (not loud). My tinnitus is more noticeable when totally quiet, like when writing this email. When outside in the woods I do not notice it, with radio, or people talking too. At night sometimes I have to listen to podcast (talk shows) to fall asleep. I use a tiny "motor helmet" speaker that I put on the exposed ear and try to put the sound as low as possible. When asleep, it falls of... Maybe others might benefit from this trick. Thanks again for you informative but not dramatic podcasts!
How would I go about having a hearing aid with Menieres? Some days my hearing is almost zero and other days I can almost hear fully again. I don’t want to have to keep changing the settings, however I suffer with tinnitus daily.
Hey Chris, great question. Sadly there’s no way of doing it without you changing the settings. I’ve had patients with wildly varying hearing from day to day and specific programmes have done the trick. Good luck! Matthew
Which tips have you already tried? I’d love to know what’s helped and what you’ve not had so much luck with. Matthew

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching, Matthew
I have noticed my Tinnitus gets worse when I get sick! The noise is much louder!
Hey Aminor that’s pretty common. Is there anyone else that this happens with? Thanks for sharing, Matthew

Thanks! I need to try something!!
My tinnitus has doubled in volume after contracting Covid. My GP said that was very common. Have you seen that in your practice also?
Hey Aldo, there was definitely an increase in patients suffering with tinnitus over the last few years. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Matthew
