Hey. So I received a 221g and was told it would be under administrative processing.. they kept the passport .. and I was not asked for any extra documents. The 221g they only put administrative process by hand ..they didn’t mark anything like missing documents ..they didn’t request any extra document at the moment. Last update was on feb 07th today is feb 15th when I check the visa status it says administrative processing. Do you have any idea what is going on ? As I said .. I was not told to provide any extra documentation, on the 221g they only wrote administrative processing .. they kept the passport and was told just to wait… any idea ??

Greetings, On January 11, 2023, I applied for a B1 visa. However, I received a Blue slip 221g as my master's subject falls under TAL (Technology Alert List). On February 1st, 2023, I submitted the documents requested by the authorities. On March 2nd, 2023, my visa status changed from Refused to Administrative Processing. The last update on my case was on March 21st, 2023. Although there has been an update, my visa status remains unchanged, and it is still under administrative processing. I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me on how long it usually takes for the status to change. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello, I received a 221g because they wanted medical results and proof of relationship. After all documents were uploaded the status changed from Refused to Ready, then after 3 days it changed to “Refused” once more. I’m really concerned is this an issue?

Status will change from refused to ready when officer completed administrative processing. Ready is a good sign. Give a couple days and see if they contact you

If it did not work. You can file it and when you done just write your information by hand. It will be okay

They will let you know. Administrative processing is hard to know when they will be completed

It depends the backlogs in your country. Mine wich was morocco it took 5 month

Sir after interview i was served with 214B letter, but when i check my status on CGI portal it shows "Refusal under 221G", i don't know who is correct, the interview taker is correct or the CGI Portal status?

on interview day, i sent email to us embassy regarding incomplete conduction of my interview & about 214b paper.
next day i saw that on portal my profile front page shows " your passport is still with us embassy/consulate", however the passports are with me at home.
2ndly helpline told on email that your case refused under 214B. But on CGI PORTAL it shows "Refusal".
it has been 10 days the status is same on CGI & on my profile
Can CGI Portal did mistake sir? even when i do login my profile it mentioned on front page that my passport is still with us embassy....but passports were handed over to me
Sir, after 10 days the status appears on portal.ustravdocs as '"Document Delivery Information" but no further information has been written.
on CAEC portal it is still appears as " Refusal".
For me. It Says “aplication receive”

What does case created mean??
When USCIS approves you petition they send to NVC and create your case

After my interview, the consuler officer gave me 221g. Now my status changed, refused to ready , what does it mean?
Status will change from refused to ready when officer completed administrative processing. Ready is a good sign. Give a couple days and see if they contact you

( at the visa bulletin the cut of date is September 08 2020) and my priority date is July 21th 2021 unfortunately I think I gonna wait for a long time ,

Ready means is good. They will issue your visa or refuse it again.

Hey,i m a k1 filer… I emailed nvc where’s my case number they said “ they haven’t received my case “ and share a website n said you should contact this email its a another department of number its been close to 60 days idk how long now nvc gonnaa take.
