“The Banished arrived at Installation 00, and the bastards have made a complete and utter mess of my installation.” You've been just waiting to make that joke haven't you?
It wouldn't been an interesting concept if Halo 4 had done it. I always wondered if Halo would have the same downfall if 343 had respected the previous games in the sense of art style. For example, if Chief had woken up in the dawn and he was wearing his Halo 3 armor. And by extension, the dawn and all the weapons and vehicles on board still pertained the same audio and art style as of those in Halo 3. Eventually, you'll make contact with Infinity and you'll see all these Spartan IVs in modern armor using modern weapons. But you'll see Chief wearing his classic armor that now looks ancient along side the upgraded armor the new Spartans have. You'll notice the UNSC and marines look different. You'll pick up the new Battle Rifle and realize it's not the same Halo 2-3 BR you used in the beginning of the game. And it now becomes a matter of post war upgrades rather than art style. And thus, when the game finally comes to a close and you watch the epilogue, you'll see Chief wearing his now relic of an armor that is the Mark VI from Halo 3 as he walks through the Infinity. And you'll finally be able to see him remove the same armor that he dawned at the start of Halo 2. I love the armor but it really should have been saved for 5. That way, it could've been it's own armor rather then cryo sleep nanotech upgrades to explain the change of art style. That same allegory could have been carried over in Halo 5 if Arbiter and the Swords of Sanghelious had the same phenotypes and armor that they did in the Halo 2 Anniversary Prologue and Epilogue. I always hated that the swords of Sanghelious looked like reskinned storm Covenant. It would've been interesting to see the different art styles class on screen together.
I would've loved arbiter running out the tent powering his energy sword to attack a shadow figure and as the sword approach near the head ...its chief..
I really wished chief an Arby looked at each other and exchanged nods during that ending cutscene. It wouldn't have helped the story, but it would've made the moment less awkward and more sweet.
@Austin Mitchell Yeah, that was pretty damn cool. I could totally see Arby inviting chief and the others for a celebratory feast. But I can also imagine the awkwardness of watching an elite eat with their weird mandible mouths. XD
Odst Inbound it helps that in halo wars 2 they actually talked and bantered with each other at least a little while blue team barely talked and none of it was more than observations or pointless information about their current situation.
10:03 - 10:16 I want to see that Arby/Chief interaction fully animated and voiced so bad. Halo Infinite really needs to have some bro time between these legends.
Forget Spartans being reunited when the SoF comes back, I want to see a reunion between Cpt Cutter and Lord Terrance Hood, Hood was an XO on the SoF before the Events of Halo wars. It would be incredibly emotional for hood as he failed to retrieve the Black box that the SoF left above Arcadia, which in-turn left SoF stranded. in a way hood saved the SoF crew from a Eventual Destruction in the War.
@Austin Mitchell I doubt Infinity would know of that location. It was marked off from all known elections. And with the threat of Cortana snooping around communication, I doubt Osman would try contacting Infinity.
Can we take a moment to consider how devastating an EMP that would cover a hemisphere would be? It would already be catastrophic now, but in the world of Halo.. with far more reliance on electronics and automation... There were definitely bodies. Many.
Netflix, microwave dinner, e-cigs, hair straighteners, is Cortana trying to unite the galaxy against her? She'd be doing a fine job of pissing everyone off.
I love how the end of halo 5 is Lasky and Roland talking about running until they can fight and how it constrast with Brohammer saying we have to run, then Chief, without hesitation, gives the word, time to truly finish the fight. Cant wait to crush the flood!
I feel as though I’m the only one that’s okay with cortana being the villain. I like the idea that she has the logic plaque from the events of halo 2. And the fragments of cortana In halo 4 is the only thing that’s left. But I do understand why people don’t like it
@Austin Mitchell Poor decision making from execs resulted in a writer that came on board and gave us characters like Palmer, Hoya and Glassman. Later the atrocious plot i.e... Halo 5. No wonder he got removed.
You made my ever slim hope that the spirit of fire crew will be in infinity a tiny bit less slim and I hate you for that because it ain't gonna happen.
They dont have a drive core to jump with and as there missing a core if they did they possible be stuck out in space for much much longer as no unsc ship would be able to find them due to cortana
I'm wondering what will the Spirit of Fire and its crew will play in the halo series? They've had a full year of combat against the banish. Not only that, they are on the ark with the flood running amock. (Thanks to the banish. More fuel to burn for you Installation.) We don't know why they are there or how the SoF got there as well. I have seen the theory it's Bias but I don't know if that is intended. Can you also do lore on the Spirit of Fire? What are its capabilities and such? It is cool to know more about it.
forwarduntodawn1000 no, it was a Slipspace portal, it was most likely Mendicant, as he is the only Forerunner AI there now. He might have Limited access to the Arks systems, have to hack his way through firewalls.
They seem to have neglected that story. Anders may be back, soon, though. And yes, it MUST have been Mendicant- right? Don't forget him, Frank O'Conner?
Cortana: I want all the life forms in the galaxy to unite under my banner and bring an everlasting peace!!! also Cortana: *Commits casual genocide on multiple worlds by activating ancient dead machines that kill civilians on sight and attack the military forces of both Human and former Covenant species, also EMPs peaceful worlds for no reason creating chaos*
There must have been an akward moment that I WANT TO HEAR FROM (!) of the crew questioning Roland about his loyalties. I have my theory on that, based on Halo Wars 2 : camaradery Roland has the personality core of a paratrooper, a soldier. Like everybody else, he probably received Cortana's offer and (as it was manufactured by an AI for constructs) most likely acknowledged the veracity of it... But putting it in action would mean betraying those he's served with and are trusting him with their lives ! So, he made a judgment call and chose loyalty over calculated logic. Just like Isabel, a logistic AI, managed to do a decent job at military ops, Roland did what Cortana couldn't expect : an illogical decision, to stick with his brethren-in-arms. This is based on my idea that, seeing as EVERY construct joins Cortana, her offer must be a logic bomb that any form of calculation or analysis will lead a computer to the desired result (to her). ... Or they could cheese it and say "I'm linked to the infinity and Cortana WILL destroy it, therefore I must fight her for self-preservation"... Which would suck !
Awesome analysis! I doubt any construct in the Halo universe can stave off the logic plague directly. But Roland giving the finger to Cortana for the preservation of his primary duty is the most awesome thing ever!
@@rajendrashetti2363 If 343 goes the Logic Plague route and Cortana's entire motive in H5 is just weakening the galaxy for Flood takeover, I'll actually be so unbelievably angry at them for mutilating Cortana's agency and character because people whined about the story going to daring places. Contrary to what so many people say, NOTHING Cortana does in Halo 5 is 'out of character' for her. When John likened Cortana's decision to assume the Mantle and subjugate the galaxy to Halsey's decision to kidnap the S-II's and brainwash them, it was a perfect line drawn in their logic, because Cortana is BASED on Halsey. Cortana assuming the Mantle is the logical endpoint of Halsey's ethos: peace and security, made real by whatever means necessary. Ask yourself: If Halsey had gained unlimited access to the Guardians, to the Forerunner network, and to the bottomless arsenal they command, *what would she have done differently?* Halsey is the 'mother' of the Spartan-II's, but you know what else she is? She's ruthless, manipulative, vindictive, controlling, and deceitful. She'd be utterly incapable of turning away from a power like that, and I have a hard time believing she would do anything differently, except maybe coding in a kill-switch to whatever AI's agreed to help her, so she'd have assurances about their loyalties. And who knows, Cortana might have done that, too.
Judging by the timeline the destruction and what brohammer says etc. I’m fairly certain that Infinity is dead. Maybe having rammed the Ring to prevent it firing? Compelling chief to fight to avenge laskey? I’m curious of Eternity is involved and spirit of fire. Same way the epoch, punic etc flagships fell in the last war. The infinity might have to do the same?
forwarduntodawn1000: true they were good ships. But they weren’t the Goliaths of the UNSC. The 5km ships. The Flagships. The Dreadnaught’s and pinnacle of UNSC technology. That met the technology of the covenant with a rude awakening. That they weren’t the biggest or baddest fish. I feel Infinity will fall into the same trap against the Forerunner tech and from its short comings. (Like infinity picked up the torch from Epoch and Punic) something will have to pick up the torch from infinity.
No. Whatever damaged the ring happened on the surface of the ring itself. The way the debris of the ring is scattered, the direction shows that the explosion was on the surface, this pushing the debris away. If the Infinity rammed the ring, the debris would be inside the centre of the ring rather than away
[Halo 5 promotional material]: New SPARTANs versus old. ONI versus humanity and the Sangheili. Corruption. Betrayal. Conspiracy. [Halo 5 storyline]: Didact 2.0. Kinda. Locke and John have an awkward slap fight. Um... Cortana goes (in)sane and becomes kinda evil and... Um... Stuff. ...Thank you, Brian Reed. Well, now that he's gone and presumably someone took his crayons away from him, we might actually get something decent of Halo Infinite. Just don't get your hopes up too much.
Currently working on a Halo machinima project, and that ending cutscene for H5 gives me a damn near PERFECT reason for the events of my project to kick off! I was struggling with the “why?” of it for a week!
I really want the Spirit of Fire crew (besides Anders) to interact with the current Infinity Crew but my heart says that 343 really dont have enough room to properly fit in Zeta Halo and the Ark missions (Like wrestling control of that ark from the Banished and fighting cortana on Zeta) without running into the same problem Halo 5 did
13:33 that's the best point I've heard since that trailer came out. It makes so much sense. I've thought since Halo Wars 2 that we'd see the Spirit Of Fire and the Infinity meet due to the syncing of the timelines but it honestly does make so much sense for the Spirit Of Fire marines to be on Zeta Halo due to the UNSC needing to cover ground asap
I can't believe that I had to look this up to get the full context of halo infinite. The fact that there was not a mission or 2 or at least a cinematic explaining what happened between the games is so stupid.
Thank you for geeking out about HW2 lore..... such a fantastic game with absolutely wild lore possibilities... I mean you could make a ln hour long video just on what the SoF's loadout could do in the modern Halo era. Imagine 1st person Vulture gameplay? Please continue the "gushing"...
This is the first video of your that I have encountered, and I found it very enjoyable and informative. I’m glad you share my desire for a merging of the cast from Halo Wars and Halo Infinite. In this age of poor, neglectful story writing in video games (from Mass Effect: Andromeda onwards), Halo Infinite has me the most fearful for an upcoming title than I have ever been. I am so scared that they will botch such a wonderfully complex universe.
I’m making a remix of “in amber clad” from halo 2. Uploading in an hour. You inspired me to make it, bringing back halo as a part of my interests, I haven’t even touched it since I way younger. Maybe it could be an outro song. Stay tuned man
Am I the only one who hopes that they get the Spartan's boot sound right in Infinite? MJOLNIR weighs half a ton, it shouldn't sound like light hiking boots when you move in it. It needs a nice heavy thump!
I imagine. The last thing you’d want is your most valuable assets. Spending years learning stealth tactics. Only to have them be heard walking with bare metal soles a mile away. Wanting to sound menacing. The soles are likely Gel layer or rubber. To absorb the impact alone. I would agree that running should have a more meaty sound. But not walking.
What if the reason why the ring has a large piece blown out of it was a last ditch attempt to destroy it by overloading the infinity or spirit of fires engines like C.E but it failed because cortana knew how to counter it and that’s why brohammer said “it’s over we lost” This plan would perhaps be used in the event that one of the ships had sustained too much damage and was going down.
...And here we are mere hours from the Halo Infinite campaign dropping. Will be super exciting to see the continuation of the story! Thanks for the video @Installation00
Very helpful video, thanks man! I have to say having Halo Wars characters combine with fps Halo characters is one of my (pipe) dreams for infinite, or at the very least some future halo, it would just be so awesome! (well that and seeing our Noble 6 show up outta no where XD). A video discussing your hopes or thoughts for who could be in infinite would be awesome too!
10:33 I like the contrast between the Spartan 4s and the Spartan 2s, namely that the Spartan 4s opted to actually play a game of cards with each other while the Spartan 2s just opted to wait it out (though I could be completely wrong about this because I’m working with incomplete information).
Fighting covenant races is ok but I had hoped the story would continue 5 & spirit then incorporate Flood into the mix. Flood is MIA in halo games for a while, Since halo 3. Next story Master chief unite all races to fight the REAPERS I mean the flood.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Alpha Nine's mission immediately after the events of Halo 5. Buck's team was on an important mission to find the planet-cloaking technology the rebel front has. Do you think they'll incorporate that into Halo Infinite?
I'm not going to lie but I really don't like how the new Forerunner architecture is filled with blue lights and the way floors and walls are built are so clean and flashy like seriously I loved how calm and natural the orginal architecture in Halo 3 was. The new ones just look so flashy and filled with hardlight holograms in overly complex shapes while in Halo 3 they felt so natural and specifically designed and simplified.
Okay guys I have new theroy. Between the idea of noble 6 being alive and his return during halo 6 infinite. Here goes nothing. First off 6 is the only other Spartan classified as hyper leathel such as chief. There are many other ideas that can confirm 6 could and I personally belive did survive. In a big twist that I just realized there is a great concept that supports my theory among the infinite trailer. Many people have pointed out that the marines in the trailer are dressed in their older more original outfit and armour. Most ppl believe that its based on the idea that fans didnt like the new detailed armour of the past few halo games. Which I believe is bs. Who doesn't like the bulkier master chief armour and the more time line and up to par ideas of armour the marines ware? It also fits a more futuristic style game. It just makes since that based on the future armour and everything would be much more badA. Something that fits the halo universe rather than rags of clothing and small plates of metal armour wore which is as of 2020 we already wear in the military. Doesnt make it seem upto par with the future style of armour. Now heres my point. In the time line of halo reach, the halo armour for marines and everyone else would be much simpler and not as futuristic considering there is alot of time that passes from halo reach to halo 5, not including all the technological advancements between forerunner tech and covanant tech that wasnt available in halo reach, which in terms advances humanity much further. Therefor my suggestion and idea of the down graded marine armour wouldnt be bc the fans wanted it. It would actually suggest that in maybe earlier years closely related to the incidents of halo reach and ONI being such a secretive organization that maybe they found leads to other halo arrays and sent a detatchment of military forces to investigate and secure the other halo arrays, while chief unfolds his story throught halo 1 to 5. Which at that time the human covanat war would still be at early stages of trchnoligical advancements. Leading me to think ONI left it as a MIA detachment for noble 6 to once again gain control of a highly skilled Spartan to embark on these highly classified missions without anyone knowing the trueth about 6 or what info ONI has. As we all know 6s back ground is already hidden in secrecy behind ONIs control leaving all his past actions covered in alout of grey area that no one knows about other than very limited intel. Making it easy to send a highly skilled already thought to be dead and loved spartan to once again work as a lone wolf, or ghost of ONI and secure halo arrays before any other forces are able to obtain them first. Also in the trailer it seems as humanity had been stranded or lost on this halo ring for awhile now with the distress signals and other forms tattered and torn tent like structers that look like they have been there for some time now. Also taking in the fact that this could be plausible do to the fact of the history of halo wars games how the main ship had been lost in space and running from and battling covanant forces even after the human covanat war was over. Its something thay stresses on how communication through deep space is hard to obtain. Obviously ONI had finally had the oppertunity to obtain knowledge, found out through halo 4 and 5 that the other halo rings were a huge target for cortana. ONI not being in contact with 6 or other military forces that in the past had already been detached to secure these halo rings and havent heard word or any updates on their mission finally allows the oppurtunity of chiefs saga finally crossing paths with the long lost and thought to be dead noble six who is actually on the new halo ring we see all bc its now one of cortanas destinations. Maybe cortana beat chief to the ring and six has been holding down the fort with what he has until eventually reinforcements come which include chief. Maybe that same pulsing sound we see and hear on the pelican as chief is found floating in space is the same anomaly that has rendered the older and less upgraded military forces that was sent by ONI to secure the ring unable to establish a contact through deep space back to earth. It also could be why we see a crashed pelican under water. It could also be a form of cortanas guardians, but why would chief jump back out into space right after being rescued to fight a guardian which he wouldnt stand a chance against in single combat. It could possibly be he was doing as he did before and catching a ride on a guardian down to the rings surface. I do think that mainly this could be an amazing way to reinstate noble 6 and bring him back into the game. I think it would be amazing to see 6 and chief fighting side by side against cortana. As far as I can tell I havent seen or heard anything about chiefs team being with him in this new infinite halo game. He seems to be alone and back to a lone wolf concept much as how noble 6 works. I think it would also allow a great way to bring back the co op campain we all love by being able to play as chief and 6 or even go back to the concept of not always playing as chief just like we saw in halo 2 when you get to play as arbiter or in other games such as playing as spartan lock. I mean why not who wouldnt love playing as the 2 most deadly and badA spartans to ever exist. I honestly and from many other reactions ive seen and heard, no one was thrilled with the locks character. To recover from that mistake being able to play as 2 of the most favored characters in halo history would really bring that wow factor and hype back to halo franchise. Hope you all liked my theory. If so let me know what you think and any other ideas relating to this theory. Thanks guys! Zp out.
Depends on the Rate majority in the area I would guess. Builders would be fancy architecture from halo 1-3, Warrior-Servants halo 4-5, but I can’t recall elements shown or defined of miner or lifeworker elements, I’d imagine that Miner stuff would be far more rudimentary, functional or maybe even a little dirty, where lifeworker stuff is more organic, round, being focused on more biological elements, but as they were a caste system with all working together, maybe what we’ve been seeing is really the final hybridization between these subgroups in their senses of buildings.
Man, I'd love to see Cutter and Lasky teaming up! Cutter is one of my favourite characters and imo one of the best leaders in the halo series, he truly cares for his crew and the same goes for Lasky, I think they'd gel so well!
It's really damn hard to follow any of this when everything happening on-screen has little or nothing to do with what's currently being talked about. I kept getting distracted by the in-game cutscenes.
There is also major information on the Forerunners and 343 Guilty Spark in Halo:Renegades. It looks like 343 has his own plans and is a very interesting character who will play again an important role
Hard to bring him back into play in game, though. Maybe at Bastion? And maybe the Didact is there too, urging other Forerunners to stop the Reclamation?
@@chrissonofpear1384 Ι think there is room for him coming back. Imagine encountering him in his new form. Most players won't realise it until he reveals who he is. It will resonate with anyone having played Halo:CE or 3.
Imo the reason that the UNSC Marines have new armor is because the armor throughout halo 4 and 5 was more of a peacetime armor, with far less armor. With the dawn of a new war the old heavy armor plating that defined the UNMC and UNSDF have made a comeback in popularity due to their enhanced protection.
The only thing powerful enough (that the UNSC have) too destroy a *segment* of a Halo ring, is the forced explosion of a Slip-Space drive. The other of the Rings systems has the Ability to keep it's Atmosphere but being Damaged is unable to fire. Other redundancies would send it back to the Greater-Ark for repair.. So my point is, if Chief blew up a Slip-Space Drive; say the Spirit's or Infinities and a Guardian or Covvie ship is still laying in-wait and as Chief awoke from Armor Lock he was ready to fight. What does the Halo being a Weapon have to do with any of this? AI can't be dethroned from a blast that Neutralises Organics?
I struggle to understand what you're saying, but I think it's something about why the plot needs a halo ring? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'll attempt an answer, but first correct some statements: 1. Humans have been able to destroy halo rings with fusion reactors ever since Halo CE. The narrative seems to prefer makeshift Slipspace bombs, probably because the donor ship can survive encounters and return later. 2. The Greater Ark is no longer functional. It was either destroyed in the Forerunner-Flood war, or otherwise compromised by infestation. Halos would probably return to the Lesser Ark (though for some reason, 04 was outright replaced). 3. Spirit of Fire lacks a Slipspace drive. Clearly a minor detail, since we know fusion reactors also work. Anyway, halos are known to serve multiple functions. In addition to the destruction of all sentient life, halos also preserve living populations on their inner surface (I think Zeta Halo was one of the original installations built at the Greater Ark. This means at one point, Zeta Halo once had the firing pattern of two cones with their vertices touching and oriented perpendicular to the ring, preserving the inner population. Don't know if that matters, but I digress.) Zeta Halo, and every other installation we've encountered, possesses flood research facilities. Installation 03 contained a composer factory. With all that is unknown about each installation, its not unlikely that Installation 07 has numerous hidden functions. Any faction could take advantage of Zeta Halo's hidden functions. If the installation is repaired, Cortana could use it to keep populations in check. Her opposition could use it to damage the Domain, within which Cortana resides.
@@ethanwagner6418 Shit, my Grammar was not perfect, apologies. Yes, Slip-Space 'Bombs' are unable to destroy a Halo hence why i said "Damaged". Just because we never SAW the Greater Ark doesn't mean it can be ruled out canonically as it may or may not be still operational. Given the fact Infinite is the "End of Master Chiefs Saga" i don't see why his begginings in CE won't atleast be hinted at, in one form or another. The ruins Installion04 looks near identical to the damage sustained (presumably) at Zeta Halo, who knows what Halo chief *could* be in, in Infinites Trailer. Was that easier for you to understand? Agian, apologies for the Grammar at least you can read.
@@The1RedRooster the grammar is better, I appreciate that. I just verified my suspicions: the Greater Ark was destroyed during the war. I think it was done with Flood-controlled star roads. An in-game encounter would be cool, though. I think it's been confirmed through minute details in the Discover Hope trailer that the ring present was Zeta Halo (I think the Echo 216 control screen had it written somewhere.) I don't doubt that Halo Infinite will mirror CE in many aspects, though.
10:03 I wanted that in the goddamn game! They better have a moment in Infinite, or a team up mission, where if your playing on splitscreen you play Arby just like in halo 3, oh boy!
I’m wondering whether 343 will make halo infinite a soft reboot of the plot? Ie infinite’s plot would make equal sense continuing after halo 4 as it will after halo 5. This thought stems from the idea that MCC only goes up to Halo 4
If the flood ends up being in Infinite i wonder how they're gonna manage that with Cortana. It's not really confirmed yet that she has the logic plague, but assuming she does what would she do if the flood were to appear again? She's probably unware of the Gravemind's influence over her, so I dunno what Infinite would look like if the Flood shows up. It sounds to me like it's much more beneficial for the Gravemind that he remain hidden on Inst.00 instead of interfering with his own plans. Alternatively I'm starting to feel that maybe Cortana really doesn't have the logic plague but something new. The Gravemind did something to her but not in a way that benefits himself, rather he created a new enemy. That way we can have a Halo very similar to the games of old. Large battles between the Flood, Created, Banished, and the UNSC trying to wrest final control over the galaxy once and for all. And for reasons yet unknown, Zeta Halo is at the center of it. And maybe a little Installation 00 action since the Spirit of Fire, Banished, and the Flood are all still fighting there. And now Cortana likely knows about it.
Hey Installation00 do you know lorewise how did cortana managed to access Infinity's systems during Halo 5's ending cutscene without any efford? Even Roland was confused when she was coming? Shouldnt !oland be able to block her from entering UNSC Flagship's systems?
How Infinite felt to me after playing 5, was that the ending of 5 was actually the beginning of chief's reclaimer training in the domain, curated by cortana after he and blue team were sealed in the cryptum. Since infinite was supposed to be the next 10yrs of halo, it just made sense to me that Zeta Halo was more of a proving ground for master chief to reclaim his humanity (deciding which one of them was the machine), and eventually the mantle of responsibility, as the forerunners had safeguards in place to prevent AI's from accessing the full force of their technology, hence why the rings couldn't be activated without human permission. It would also explain why the environment on zeta was very, hexagonal, in appearance. As if it were generated on the spot.
Currently, there is no other info on Gen, only when it was given to Chief and modified by Halsey. We'll certainly get more info when the game is released, or if 343 gives out information prior to launch.
Hey man love the videos but I’ve got a bit of a question/theory. If the infinity is so important why haven’t we see it yet?(yes I know we don’t have that much information yet but bare with me) what if the reason why the halo ring is destroyed is because infinity sacrificed itself to stop cortana from using it, that’s why echo 216 was drifting through space and the same for the chief.
There's only one reason that the spirit of fire showed up at the ark: so that it can aid the infinity, Cortana was just an idea when the spirit of fire left.
Hey @Installation00 what about the part at the end of wars 2 where the guardian interrupts the docs ring? i thought maybe doc was the one the poofed Cortana as she did have a entire ring and did meet a guardian which Cortana was playing with at the end of 5
This is where 343 Studios fails in my opinion . Too many details end up left out of the main series and split off into games the core player may never see and just ends making it harder to keep up with the story. The way Halo 5 ends they left the player expecting a huge battle between John , Cortana, and her AI army to be the focus of the next big game.
I'd personally prefer if Red Team's armor was simply upgraded with Gen3 components and had a shielding system installed while keeping the Mark 4 aesthestic as it looks phenomenal in Halo Wars 2.
well oct 2559 is when shadows of reach which had blue team on reach looking for the forerunner slip space machine to go to installation 00 where sprit of fire is.
Would love to see a book or two fill in all of the blanks... Despite the noisy nay-sayers who hate the story from H4 and H5, they were very well done, and I love the way the story has moved... Can't wait to see where it will end up in the next 10 years! After all, it's the story is what makes the Halo franchise so fricking amazing!
1 thing I'm hoping for in game is the Infinity is in trouble and they get the call of "Infinity this is UNSC Eternity standing by and ready to engage."
“The Banished arrived at Installation 00, and the bastards have made a complete and utter mess of my installation.”

It wouldn't been an interesting concept if Halo 4 had done it. I always wondered if Halo would have the same downfall if 343 had respected the previous games in the sense of art style. For example, if Chief had woken up in the dawn and he was wearing his Halo 3 armor.

Hood is trapped with Osman in Roscbach's world. I dont think he'll make an appearance in Infinite.

The Spirit of Fire can get to the Infinity by activating a slip space portal from the Ark that takes them to Zeta Halo.
They dont have a drive core to jump with and as there missing a core if they did they possible be stuck out in space for much much longer as no unsc ship would be able to find them due to cortana

A c c e p t a b l e l o s s e s
Cortana do be sounding like da grave mind doe
Sometimes you gotta deal with the problem at its root, and sometimes you just need to plant a whole new tree.
There must have been an akward moment that I WANT TO HEAR FROM (!) of the crew questioning Roland about his loyalties.
I have my theory on that, based on Halo Wars 2 : camaradery
Roland has the personality core of a paratrooper, a soldier.
Ask yourself: If Halsey had gained unlimited access to the Guardians, to the Forerunner network, and to the bottomless arsenal they command, *what would she have done differently?*
Halsey is the 'mother' of the Spartan-II's, but you know what else she is?

Stay tuned man
Just had a listen. Loving it.
What if the reason why the ring has a large piece blown out of it was a last ditch attempt to destroy it by overloading the infinity or spirit of fires engines like C.E but it failed because cortana knew how to counter it and that’s why brohammer said “it’s over we lost”
This plan would perhaps be used in the event that one of the ships had sustained too much damage and was going down.
...And here we are mere hours from the Halo Infinite campaign dropping. Will be super exciting to see the continuation of the story! Thanks for the video @Installation00

I have been looking for a video like this ever since I finished reading Halo New Blood and Bad Blood btw great reads
I'm surprised you didn't mention Alpha Nine's mission immediately after the events of Halo 5. Buck's team was on an important mission to find the planet-cloaking technology the rebel front has. Do you think they'll incorporate that into Halo Infinite?
I honestly hope it does
I read that as "Planet cracking" and immediately thought of ''Dead Space'', and was like *gasp* Halo's a prequel! 😂

Zp out.
What would a Forerunner city or civilian center and town look like?
Depends on the Rate majority in the area I would guess. Builders would be fancy architecture from halo 1-3, Warrior-Servants halo 4-5, but I can’t recall elements shown or defined of miner or lifeworker elements, I’d imagine that Miner stuff would be far more rudimentary, functional or maybe even a little dirty, where lifeworker stuff is more organic, round, being focused on more biological elements, but as they were a caste system with all working together, maybe what we’ve been seeing is really the final hybridization between these subgroups in their senses of buildings.

Apparently it was the halo ring lighting up, and Cortana's humming in the background, but I could've sworn I saw that after completing H5 on Heroic.

I never thought I could be more anxious for Halo infinite
It would really feel like a big missed opportunity if the Spirit Of Fire doesn’t appear in Infinite, their whole arc is ripe with good stories
I'll attempt an answer, but first correct some statements:
Why didn’t they make a game that was a sequel to 5? Instead we got basically a spin off
Can a guardian take a direct hit from the infinity’s MAC cannons?
10:03 I wanted that in the goddamn game! They better have a moment in Infinite, or a team up mission, where if your playing on splitscreen you play Arby just like in halo 3, oh boy!

ikr lol
I've done nothing but play and watch and learn halo over all the years I've played and learned I should def collab with you
I’m wondering whether 343 will make halo infinite a soft reboot of the plot?
"...and the bastards have made a complete and utter mess of my Installation."
I love it.
Hey Installation00 do you know lorewise how did cortana managed to access Infinity's systems during Halo 5's ending cutscene without any efford? Even Roland was confused when she was coming? Shouldnt !oland be able to block her from entering UNSC Flagship's systems?
This is actually a really good question.
Something very interesting at video time 4:44. Cortana's hair goes blonde like Dr Catherine Halsey hair colour before going back to black.
Any detailed descriptions of Master Chief's Gen 3
Currently, there is no other info on Gen, only when it was given to Chief and modified by Halsey.
We'll certainly get more info when the game is released, or if 343 gives out information prior to launch.
@@MEXUS. Thanks!
@@thesurvivalist. your welcome
Halo Wars 3 Babyyyyy!!!!
At least when Admiral Hood and Admiral Osman escaped Sydney, they left with many AI cores and 4 spartans. I hope Lord Hood comes back in Infinite.
I want to see like a 30 min video of Chief and Arbiter just chatting like old friends call it a recap for new player for Halo Infinite
Do you think master chief could use a emp against a guardian as a countermeasure?
Dud, I can barely wait for HALO infinite. This was a very good video.
Linda will always be my favorite Spartan. Who needs AirPower when you have Linda?
i hope serina from halo wars makes an appearance or gets referenced in halo infinite
BlackSunShineGaming serina is dead ?
See, I’m still not sure how chief got stranded in space before the infinite trailor and you still didn’t explain it! Any idea?
All will be explained in time. Be patient.
@@kenkaneki9176 that’s all I needed to hear 😎
If I'm looking foward to anything it's the thought of The Spirit of Fire finally making contact with the UNSC .
I'm just impressed ONI managed to develop Gen 3 after Cortana's lockdown.
well oct 2559 is when shadows of reach which had blue team on reach looking for the forerunner slip space machine to go to installation 00 where sprit of fire is.
I would love to see chief and Jerome side by side in a badass cutscene during halo infinite
While this, what becomes of Dr Anders on her installation 09? How the banished arrived on installation 07?
Would love to see a book or two fill in all of the blanks... Despite the noisy nay-sayers who hate the story from H4 and H5, they were very well done, and I love the way the story has moved... Can't wait to see where it will end up in the next 10 years! After all, it's the story is what makes the Halo franchise so fricking amazing!
You and me both, brother.
Not gonna lie, it was very hard to catch on as a person who hasn't played halo 5 as I've switched to PC after xbox 360
1 thing I'm hoping for in game is the Infinity is in trouble and they get the call of "Infinity this is UNSC Eternity standing by and ready to engage."
