Good word. As a married man though I can say with 100% assurance that getting married will not satisfy your lusts. You will need to do work on yourself to bring that part of your sin nature under control BEFORE you get married. It isn’t something you do not want in your marriage.
I think marriage helps if you let it not become your savior. I fight against lust daily, but I tell myself I am looking for a partner. That’s a big justification for me. I pray for a spouse so that I can remove that burden of seeking. I will then have no excuse left to look with lust. Its different for everyone though

For instance, our landlady( who my kids call Mimi) suddenly wants us out after three years of buying the place.(Rent to own with no contract because my wife has called her Mama her entire life). She cut our wifi off( knowing we have four special needs kids who are homeschooled). We got it turned back on in our name for 20 dollars cheaper a month. God is good. She gave us a notice to inspect two days ago so she will be here tomorrow on Mother's day weekend. She didn't put the time, so we wrote the time we would allow her in on the bottom of her note , had it notarized and gave a copy to the D.A. and one to the Chief of police. Friends of mine. I’ve been praying for a partner for quite a while now and nothings really came from it. I need to do this too. I’ve stopped for the most of it, but there’s just some times where I can’t help myself. I go back into the deep and dark caves that I used to live in. But I think that if we just trust in God that he will eventually bring us a spouse, and that we can stop looking at the opposite gender like this, we will eventually start to get purified. We will start to walk away, and eventually not like looking at people this way. Jesus please continue to give me the strength to keep supporting myself and my two autistic children. Because I’m losing hope. My boys require so much from me because they are non verbal. Due to them having many issues in school, I’m homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. These past two years since covid have been hard on me. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are piling up and I can barely afford groceries for my children. I feel like a failure. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. But God gives me strength. I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I NEED. As christians we must have compassion towards one another so please be kind I’m already feeling defeated. BUT! Even as I struggle! I keep faith in God. He is the God of possible! I dont want to do sex before marriage. Mind you im still a 14 y.o teen and i am battling lust because of puberty, and who gets married at 14. Don't seek forgiveness from a being that the humankind created, if there is a god it knows everything and it knows all the roots you have that leads you. You got this and it's very normal for you to be curious and excited about sexual themes, just try your best to not watch porn often
@sqgke dude, at my lowest moment, i was miraculously changed. In the twinkling of an eye, my depression went away. God is real, my friend. Like a year ago. I was depressed i couldn't even break a smile, and when i did it was forced. I was in bed that night in my bed, contemplating life whilst watching my phone. And then a poorly made short obout "jesus loves you" came up and not just one but a buch of them. When i scrolled, a new one popped up. I started ballin my eyes out and i kid you not, i felt a sensation in my chest, and i was kind of pulled up by my chest. That was the moment i got saved. My friend, it's up to you if you want to live for christ, if you want to pick up your cross and follow him. God gave us free will for a reason. I wish you the best of luck in your lifes journey. Wow, just wow. I’ve struggled with lust for so long and have watched so many videos where people are giving advice to basically “control” it, and those videos are great actually!! But as someone who has a very strong desire to get married I’ve never heard anybody say to be intentional about it and to put yourself out there. It made me realize how complacent I’ve been- just waiting for God to send me someone without doing much work, even though faith without work is dead. This really reasonated with me! Man this is great! I just got engaged and I’ve always struggled with lust. My fiancé knows this and she’s been working it out with me. She’s walked by me always and she no matter what always wanted to marry me and watching this it clicked. It’s hard cause we want to get married now but were saving up for everything. I have to keep honoring the Lord and her in this walk.
Please don’t wait just because your saving up. If you love your fiancé and you want to get married now and the only thing holding you up is saving up please just get married. You can do an intimate ceremony. Get married at city hall maybe. It can still be special.And then you can have a big ceremony later on if you want! Where you can celebrate with loved ones. A lot of people wait because they want to wait to get their funds in order, or maybe reach a new level in their career and they never end up being ready because they’re focused on achieving material things things. I don’t know your exact situation and I’m not judging you at all. But I see a lot of people struggle with this. But don’t just listen to me, pray on it and ask God what you should do!

We have a couple classes left of school and we’re probably gonna do it. I mean I’d do it now but I think praying about it more and seeing where God is leads us is the important thing. Hmmm...I get this. I do. But I can't help but to feel like this just puts a bandaid on the issue? Having a spouse does provide an outlet to quench those desires. But what about people who marry and still struggle with porn addiction? Or just lust in general? A spouse does not automatically cure a lustful spirit. I feel like it's important to also seek God about the roots of why we lust (was it something from childhood? are we feeling like we're alone? is there something in us that feels starved?). We can also still pray for a spouse and put ourselves out there, but it would be wise to do that inner work first. Marriage in itself is already a hard test, and I personally would not feel okay with bringing my lust issues to it.

And after this, start fighting the list, don't fall for it again.. It's not only always about Jesus forgiveness, but what you do after the forgiveness.. Here are some practical steps to help you.. What are the contents of the things you see? Movies..? Browsing sites? Pictures..? If this things are filthy or contains a touch of filth like immoral scenes, surely you'll be bound by the things you're trying to escape from.. Clear your phones from things like this, stay away from certain kind of movies that can stir up these things, watch what your eyes feeds on, instead spend more time reading your Bible and getting clean.. What of the places you go? Do you go to places where the people around you talk dirty things or do dirty things? Do you have dirty kind of conversations with people? Stop hanging out with those kind of people, stop being in places where you'll be tempted to listen to those kinds of conversation.. Rather, work time more around godly people that their words have been seasoned with salt. Above all.. Have a good relationship with God which comes from having to hear God daily from your Bible and people that preached the true gospel.. Be intentional about getting free.. Remember 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil.

I am currently 18 years old and I am dating an amazing girl who has two awesome parents and she loves the Lord. Part of me feels like she is the one that God has for me but then another part of me has doubts that she might not be the one. I find myself becoming deeply worried that I am doing the wrong thing by dating because she might not be the one that God has for me. Then I often think about how devastating a break up would be if I did break up with her and how that would create a deep cut into both of us. I just don't really know what to do and I am struggling to find peace in God's plan for my life because all I truly and deeply want to do is live my life fully for Jesus. Hey bro I know the struggle between wanting to be obedient to God and figuring out His will when it comes to finding a spouse. I've gone through it for two years and what I have come to realize is that God is not in the business of pairing up people who would make cute married couples. He is more interested in you and your girlfriend's heart. Given that you both have the desire to unite and be with each other for the rest of your lives, the God I find in the Bible is interested in helping people be good spouses to each other. I need to confess that I gave in to lust today. I told myself I wouldn’t do the deed again (self pleasure with or without visual stimulation) but I gave in. I didn’t even enjoy it, and immediately after I repented. I still feel guilty. I know my purpose is to go out and preach like Jesus says in Mark 16:15. I need to confess, to the body of believers. God will free you, but it's not instant. If you spend 7 years addicted to pornography, it could take years for you to fully surrender to God. Sometimes it's quite painful. But consider it pure joy, when you face this trial. You'll be free.
And if you burn with lust and don't want a spouse, God will honor that too. But you must FLEE from lust like David and not allow it to crouch at the door like a bandit waiting to pillage your home!
I have been praying this for years, been on dating apps, church groups and nothing. I am praying about it, this is harder than it seems.Don't want to be single but sometimes God wants to isolate us first so we can overcome this and saying marriage is the key doesn't fix a lust problem. The key to defeating lust is to feed your Spirit more than your flesh, submit to God and resist the devil. It's a daily battle. Know the more you feed your flesh the stronger it becomes. Feed your spirit the Word and don't ever give up.
If you are a person who watches many Christian videos about lust and still can't defeat lust?? Then do one thing instead of watching videos. Romans 2:4 (KJV) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? It's not your capability or your holiness that saves you it's gods Mercy and goodness. So instead of planing to fight against lust in the next weak, pray for his goodness and Mercy. You will win this war.

Prayed to god a few months ago asking for a spouse. I was shocked he actually presented me with a girl as I’m only 15 years old. He showed me this amazing girl, polite, beautiful. But god also told me to wait, that I’m not ready yet. Please ask god for signs so that you know exactly what he wants you to do. Even if you’re too young, god is always working in the background and knows what you need.
Keep praying everyday, you have some sort of conviction because you WANT to do something about your hardened heart. Only Jesus can change you, and remember the Holy Spirit dwells in you. Keep praying everyday

I’m very limited in life, I can pray for God to bring me a spouse and I do- tearfully. but I don’t get out much. I go to church with my parents every other week or so but we don’t really know anyone there. They’re not gonna change churches either. Maybe I should go to another church on my own. first video that I trully disagree with you. What about the verse that says: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"? Is that not true? When Jesus died in the cross He saved us from all all sins, because he suffered temptations from ALL sins. You're saying that Jesus can free someone from drug addicition but He can't save someone from lust? I don't want to fight because I say this with love, but I am truly waiting your response on this.

I defeated my problem with lust in 2021 when I was 37 I had been struggling with the problem of lust in 2010 in 2021 when I became a 1st time aunt helped me defeat my problem of lust because I want to be a good and positive person to my niece and I want to set a good and positive example to my niece
Good word. As a married man though I can say with 100% assurance that getting married will not satisfy your lusts. You will need to do work on yourself to bring that part of your sin nature under control BEFORE you get married. It isn’t something you do not want in your marriage.
I think marriage helps if you let it not become your savior. I fight against lust daily, but I tell myself I am looking for a partner. That’s a big justification for me. I pray for a spouse so that I can remove that burden of seeking. I will then have no excuse left to look with lust. Its different for everyone though
All I did was say out loud " God, I don't want to be held down with these constant thoughts anymore" and they were gone. No more looking at random tits and ass on the internet, no more thinking about it constantly! Thank God. I was in my late forties when I realized God was real.

For instance, our landlady( who my kids call Mimi) suddenly wants us out after three years of buying the place.(Rent to own with no contract because my wife has called her Mama her entire life). She cut our wifi off( knowing we have four special needs kids who are homeschooled). We got it turned back on in our name for 20 dollars cheaper a month. God is good.
She gave us a notice to inspect two days ago so she will be here tomorrow on Mother's day weekend. She didn't put the time, so we wrote the time we would allow her in on the bottom of her note , had it notarized and gave a copy to the D.A. and one to the Chief of police. Friends of mine. God is great.

I’ve been praying for a partner for quite a while now and nothings really came from it. As I have matured over the years I realised, it’s not just a partner I should be praying for it should be a someone who wants to be obedient to The Father, and that will bring me a relationship that will please and glorify God.

@@lucyaliero212I’m in your situation too. I feel that we just need to pray, pray, and pray. God is good, and if we continue to realize that, we will eventually start to draw away from that. I need to do this too. I’ve stopped for the most of it, but there’s just some times where I can’t help myself. I go back into the deep and dark caves that I used to live in. But I think that if we just trust in God that he will eventually bring us a spouse, and that we can stop looking at the opposite gender like this, we will eventually start to get purified. We will start to walk away, and eventually not like looking at people this way. Jesus please continue to give me the strength to keep supporting myself and my two autistic children. Because I’m losing hope. My boys require so much from me because they are non verbal. Due to them having many issues in school, I’m homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. These past two years since covid have been hard on me. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are piling up and I can barely afford groceries for my children. I feel like a failure. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. But God gives me strength. Like a year ago. I was depressed i couldn't even break a smile, and when i did it was forced. I was in bed that night in my bed, contemplating life whilst watching my phone. And then a poorly made short obout "jesus loves you" came up and not just one but a buch of them. When i scrolled, a new one popped up. I started ballin my eyes out and i kid you not, i felt a sensation in my chest, and i was kind of pulled up by my chest.
That was the moment i got saved.
My friend, it's up to you if you want to live for christ, if you want to pick up your cross and follow him.
God gave us free will for a reason.

Wow, just wow. I’ve struggled with lust for so long and have watched so many videos where people are giving advice to basically “control” it, and those videos are great actually!! But as someone who has a very strong desire to get married I’ve never heard anybody say to be intentional about it and to put yourself out there. It made me realize how complacent I’ve been- just waiting for God to send me someone without doing much work, even though faith without work is dead. This really reasonated with me! Man this is great! I just got engaged and I’ve always struggled with lust. My fiancé knows this and she’s been working it out with me. She’s walked by me always and she no matter what always wanted to marry me and watching this it clicked. It’s hard cause we want to get married now but were saving up for everything. Please don’t wait just because your saving up. If you love your fiancé and you want to get married now and the only thing holding you up is saving up please just get married. You can do an intimate ceremony. Get married at city hall maybe. It can still be special.And then you can have a big ceremony later on if you want! Where you can celebrate with loved ones. A lot of people wait because they want to wait to get their funds in order, or maybe reach a new level in their career and they never end up being ready because they’re focused on achieving material things things. I don’t know your exact situation and I’m not judging you at all. But I see a lot of people struggle with this. But don’t just listen to me, pray on it and ask God what you should do!

Hmmm...I get this. I do. But I can't help but to feel like this just puts a bandaid on the issue? Having a spouse does provide an outlet to quench those desires. But what about people who marry and still struggle with porn addiction? Or just lust in general? A spouse does not automatically cure a lustful spirit. I feel like it's important to also seek God about the roots of why we lust (was it something from childhood? are we feeling like we're alone? is there something in us that feels starved?). We can also still pray for a spouse and put ourselves out there, but it would be wise to do that inner work first. Marriage in itself is already a hard test, and I personally would not feel okay with bringing my lust issues to it.

Part of me feels like she is the one that God has for me but then another part of me has doubts that she might not be the one. I've gone through it for two years and what I have come to realize is that God is not in the business of pairing up people who would make cute married couples. He is more interested in you and your girlfriend's heart. Given that you both have the desire to unite and be with each other for the rest of your lives, the God I find in the Bible is interested in helping people be good spouses to each other. If you spend 7 years addicted to pornography, it could take years for you to fully surrender to God. Sometimes it's quite painful. But consider it pure joy, when you face this trial. You'll be free.

I have been praying this for years, been on dating apps, church groups and nothing. I am praying about it, this is harder than it seems.Don't want to be single but sometimes God wants to isolate us first so we can overcome this and saying marriage is the key doesn't fix a lust problem. The key to defeating lust is to feed your Spirit more than your flesh, submit to God and resist the devil. It's a daily battle. Know the more you feed your flesh the stronger it becomes. Prayed to god a few months ago asking for a spouse. I was shocked he actually presented me with a girl as I’m only 15 years old. He showed me this amazing girl, polite, beautiful. But god also told me to wait, that I’m not ready yet. Please ask god for signs so that you know exactly what he wants you to do. Even if you’re too young, god is always working in the background and knows what you need.

Rhea was spot on. I've been in your position too and looking back, it was a moment of rebellion for me (idk what it is yours so you'll have to pour yourself out on a prayer with God). He knows everything already and He had enough mercy to call u (and me). He will have mercy, still. For now, just don't take your honesty for granted.. I’m very limited in life, I can pray for God to bring me a spouse and I do- tearfully. but I don’t get out much. I go to church with my parents every other week or so but we don’t really know anyone there. They’re not gonna change churches either. Maybe I should go to another church on my own. It sucks bc I had a fiancé but it didn’t work out and he had a lot of issues he needs to work out. Please pray for me and him.

first video that I trully disagree with you. What about the verse that says: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"? Is that not true? When Jesus died in the cross He saved us from all all sins, because he suffered temptations from ALL sins. You're saying that Jesus can free someone from drug addicition but He can't save someone from lust? I don't want to fight because I say this with love, but I am truly waiting your response on this.

I defeated my problem with lust in 2021 when I was 37 I had been struggling with the problem of lust in 2010 in 2021 when I became a 1st time aunt helped me defeat my problem of lust because I want to be a good and positive person to my niece and I want to set a good and positive example to my niece
