  • Hi everyone. In this video, I’m reviewing 25 oz Iron Heart jeans (555 XHSib, 777XHSib and 777 XHS), talking about my experience, how to choose one, measurements and fitting.
    This is not sponsored. All garments are bought with my own money.
    I hope you enjoy it. Cheers!!

    It's been a year since this post, it would be great to see an update---any further washes and changes in fit? Personally, I prefer 634 (and also 777). You wear these very well. Lovely review. Thanks!

    Enjoying your vids man! I love my 888’s in 21oz. Easily my most comfy jeans. Approaching sweatpants soft after a bit over a year of year and a few washes. Cheers!

      The 21oz denim is insane, and I love it too; it is far comfier from the beginning than the 25oz. After the breaking period, both are 👍👍👍👍.

    Great to see how those jeans will age, in your experience how much shrink on the inseam? I’m not a cuffer and trying to calculate best length

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi!! Thank you for watching. The inseam have minimally shrinkage in my now is 36 inches originally was 37 inches. Hope you this help you

  • @gregholden8812
    @gregholden8812 Рік тому +1

    These don't shrink!! I usually get the 777 in size tag 33 I bought the 777 xhs and it said that it was going to shrink at least an inch in the waist and an in the inseam so I got tag size 34. To big so I soaked in cold water to get the inch shrinking...no shrinkage. So I soaked in hot water...no shrinkage. So I soaked again in hot water and then dried in dryer...no shrinkage. Now I have a pair of jeans that are to baggy.

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому

      It happen to me too, but shrink after soaked in hot water or washing at 40 degrees. In my case I have picked size 36 and my size is 34/35 depend on the measurements. Important is no look at the tag size, the way is look after the measurements. Maybe You can sale that pair on eBay at good price and buy new ones . But they do shrink I own 4 pair and all have shrink more or less 1 inch in the waist and stretch back to the initial measurements ( in the waist, the length do not stretch back). That’s why is important to look after the measurements and not the tag size 👍👍👍👍👍👍

    I intend to buy a pair of the 25oz Iron Heart jeans. The biggest thing is if the 36 inchs is an actual 36 inches....inquiring mind (me) wants to know.....anyone answer this question for me??

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Місяць тому

      Hi!! Use the size as a guide. To be accurate, please check the actual measurements; on the IH website, you have the measurements of every size. I own 9 XHS and going between size 34 to 36, but all have the same measurements; if you buy online from IH, you can have a chat with them or email them; they are very helpful, but do not buy by size buy by measurements 👍 PD: IH Germany are very helpful too.

    Good video mate very informative just a question about the 777s are you a 34 in other jeans say levis and such dose that translate to iron heart 777s because I'm a 34 in other jeans but have mixed messages on the iron heart sites im looking at a pair of 777s 18oz vintage cut so I'm abit confused keep up the good work thanks

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому +1

      Hi!! The best way to pick the right size is to grab your best-fitting jeans, those that you like more and wear often, and grab a body tape measure,
      Measure the waist, tight and knee. Then go to take a look at the website of Iron Heart. On the page of the jeans that you want to buy, click the size tab, and you go to see all the measurements by size. Then compare them with the measurements of your favourite jeans; that will give you the right size for yours. Then, to tune even better: to the waist size of your favourite jeans, subtract 1 inch (for example,,,, for me,,,, 36.5 is my ideal waist in 777 250z, and because they stretch, I pick 35.5 inches or a little above).
      Keep in mind that the Iron Heart tag size is not consistent. For example, in one batch, your size can be 34, and in another batch, you can be 36; that is why the people from IH told you it is important to focus on the measurements.
      I hope this helps you with your choice; let me know if you need more help.

    For the 555 cut 21oz is it normal to get the jeans a bit loose coz of the strecth? Or should i down size for my next pair?

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому

      It is normal that stretch, I have find my self size down with these jeans, my advice buy an inch smaller that your best fitting jeans as example, my best is 36.5 inches, then I buy 35.5 inches on the waist, expecting 1 inch of stretch remember are medium high rise, do not compere with low rise need to be medium or high rise. I hope this help you.

      @@UrbanLadUK i see thanks for the tip, the initial fit i feel the jeans snug from waist to the thigh but after 4 days in, it started to feel a bit loose but still sit fine in my legs, so i guess i grab the right size then👍🏻

    I come to understand that’s it would be more economical to purchase these jeans used rather than new where they would have been broken in and having a more stable size measurement

    • @UrbanLadUK

      Hi!! thanks for watching. That is a good option and usually the owners take care of the jeans and more likely you that you can find a good deal, and then when you are confident if you want can go for a new pair.
