    don't know how they do it--but the 21oz eventually gets almost 'sweat pants' soft with wear---it's insane!

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому +1

      This is due to the loose weaving, and the one wash; both factors contribute to the softness of the fabric, which makes the difference with 25oz. 21oz are super confy👏👏👏

    The ropy texture, amazing fades, durability and overall comfort makes the 21oz Iron Heart my go-to. Takes about a year of continuous wear to get noticeable fades. Just keep going it will happen.

    Am thinking of buying a 21oz type 3 jacket from IH and yes am a little crazy haha but I have the personality to do it and wondering which model have the exact same colorway as the jacket so I have a Canadian tuxedo? Cheers mate👍

      Hi!! thank you Mate!!!, If you think about to build a Canadian tuxedo, my recomendation if you can afford it, is to go for overdyed denim, it looks fantanstic. I got mine in 14oz and is peferct (jacket IH-526J-142OD) and I have choosen IH jeans 777 OD 14oz. In terms of colorway this jacket IH-526PJ match wiht the 21oz (IH-777S-2) or different cut in 21oz

    I had a great experience with my 633Ss 21oz that I leveled up to 25oz last year and, even though I can only comfortably wear them during the fall/winter, they became incredibly soft after only a couple months of heavy wear. I’m sure my 25oz pair will last me for years!

    Awesome review man!
    You could have added that the 21oz are undergoing silicone wash that slows the fading by making the fabric a bit more elastic from the very start and it removes the starch so that slows it down even more.

      @@UrbanLadUK Thanks for the tip. I have a pair of the 21oz IH 634's in 31"W tag. I'll expect a bit of shrink with first wash and then likely stretch to original size with wear.

      The 25oz shrinks after the first wash but stretches back in the waist. Remember to check the measurements before buying it!! My first 25oz was a little too tight. I wore it for six months before the first wash, and after the wash was tight but stretched back in the waist and lost 1 inch in the inseam

    Hi sir, nice video! New subs here.
    I would like to know which Ironheart does fit the same as Levi's 511?
    I just started my journey wearing Heritage style. Just got my Iron Ranger boots hehe. Now I need a pair of Selvedge jeans. But I'm torn between Bravestar and Ironheart. I really like the Ironheart but it's so costly for me maybe I'll end up buying a bravestar. So that's my concern which of them fits like the Levi's 511, i hope you wore 511's before. Cos im also worried about buying online and when it arrives i will not like how it fits me. Alright thanks in advance

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому +1

      Hi!! Thanks for watching. If you start your journey in the selvedge world, and you are between BS or IH, I recommend starting with BS slim fit, which is very similar to 511´s, but if you want to jump into IH, close to 511´s 777 or 555, the main difference is the rise but in terms of cut are similar. (555 higher rise). It is true about buying online. That is why I recommend starting with Brave Star; when you feel confident with the evo of selvedge denim(keep in mind that the selvedge depends if it is sanforised or not, one wash or raw change in the way that fits you), then jump into IH; they are costly but, in terms of quality, are unbeatable. Cheers

      But there're two slim types in BS slim taper and slim straight which one of them?
      And what ounces is better I've seen allot 12oz to 21.5oz in BS

    • @leyley6983
      @leyley6983 Рік тому

      and also I'm worried about this shrinking thing I used to wear size 34 in 511.
      And the leg opening also known the hem. I want it to snugs on my boots when i cuffed it , maybe around 7inch

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому +1

      Slim taper is more flattering , and 14oz is the way to go as starting point if you like and enjoy the selvedge then go for 21oz!!

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Рік тому

      Measurements are different game; my advice is to pick your 511s and measure the waist, the tights, the knee and the hem; with that measurements, check the size chart of the model of BS that you pick. Keep in mind that it usually stretches 1 inch (pick sanforised denim). As an example for me, my ideal waist is 37 inches, and I pick 36 inches to allow 1 inch of stretching 👍

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  5 місяців тому +2

      Hi!! thank you for your comment. Iron Heart has continuous production of 25oz jeans in all their models since 2011 (634, 777,555, 666 and 888), it is recognised by other Japanese jeans companies as the most experienced jean maker in heavy weight denim with Samurai ( were Samurai only has limited editions of 25oz), you can find that information in the specialized forums were interview owners or CEO of other recognised denim brands stating this. Most of the producers of heavy weight denim also name IH as one of the pioneers in XHS, I have had a chat with Haraki and he explain me how difficult is the production of this denim and a high percentage of the batches has some defect due to the difficult to weaving this fabric (IH buy this batches too and they no use this for jeans production). Sorry that you believe that but it is a fact that IH it is the most experienced heavy weight producer in the range of 25oz. In my experience I own 25oz from other brands and none has the same break-in and comfort, even Samurai 25oz it is not as good as IH. I wear on daily basis 25oz.
