I liked "Confidence Tip # 2: Using the power of persuasion. I especially liked the analogy you gave about approaching the hiring manager in the grocery store. In the interview, they WANT to be persuaded. This is absolutely true. Omg! You are so good at this and what you do!!! in addition to that you are so Lovely and Attractive. You did say you were married, didn't you? :) You have got it going on Linda Raynier!
I lack confidence in speaking. I have all the right answers in my mind, but I can't get them out of my mouth with a good flow. I don't know how to fix this.
I'm in the same situation as like you. I'm not an English native, but i need to have an English interview which left just 14 hours. I have a suggestion that make a script of 3 or 5 questions and try to read it for 100 times. Then you would be confident. I used it whenever i had to deliver a speech at the current work. Good luck!
Tomorrow is my interview date. Wish me luck guys. Edit: I got the job guys, which led me to win a fully funded scholarship to study Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University next year. Thank you all for the support 😊

Hi Linda, just want to say "Thank you". I had an interview with a Corporation for the first time ever and didn't know what to expect and prepare. Watching your videos, writing down all the tips and templates, I nailed it! Landed a job that I like right after the first interview! You're AWESOME!
Trying to start making big scary changes to get myself in a better place. Had an anxiety attack and cancelled an interview last week, have another next and so hoping this helps! Good luck to anyone with any upcoming interviews, sending good vibes and you know you’ve got this!
I remember having a panic attack once before interview so I backed out. I really need this. Hope everything goes well the day after tomorrow because I'm going to another interview. Good luck to me!
Stacey2789 I’m 16 and it’s my second interview, I’m being promoted. I’m so nervous and excited! How did you do? I hope you wore that eye look it’s s gorgeous!!
My favourite tip was "frame your answers appropriately" because I usually don't go into the details of a scenario. I need to describe the situation more clearly. I also don't have enough stories in mind to answer all of the behavioural questions.
Meh i nailed the interview. The cant even focus on this video bcs i was too nervous. So i went to the toilet to gain my courage and talked a lot in front of the mirror.
This video is amazing and you are amazing Linda. I wasn’t happy with rejections I was getting so I decided to watch videos so I could learn how to be more confident in interviews. In the space of three weeks, I was offered three jobs and I accepted one job with a membership body so thank you for sharing this message. I was unemployed for 3 months and it was getting me down. Thank you so much for your advice ❤️
The tip about seeing yourself doing well is a really good one, I'm so bad at interviews and get so nervous so I can only picture myself sitting there struggling and feeling panicked and on the spot :(
It's hard to 'predict' the questions and I think that's unreasonable to try to keep stories in mind for the questions that you THINK they will ask. They will always ask different questions and you will look unprepared anyway since the stories that you 'prepared for the prediction' will most likely not be what they are asking! I can never think of any stories at the BEST of times! :(
Hi Linda I am a qualified CA but I lack the confidence, sell myself short, I am very shy and don't know how to dress the part as a professional CA. help plz.btw love your looks
I would like to say thank you for what you are doing. Three weeks ago, I posted my CV on some recruiting websites and sent to some companies but no one called. I was really frustrated and thought I had to get back with my dead-end job then I accidentally found your channel and after watching all of your videos, I rewrote my CV, learn some tips...guess what...I have two job offers with a doubled salary . I'm really excited to start my new job next week. Thank you very much Linda!! You changed my life.
We are having mock interviews tomorrow at school and I'm desperately trying to do good on it because I really want a good grade. My outfit looks amazing and professional that's the first step now onto these parts 😁 these are helping a lot
Hi Linda. I totally bought into the visualize/energize technique. Having a lengthy sports background I can personally attest to this very powerful technique. Great job!
tip #5 visualise and energise! I tried this today before my job interview, I have taken few hours before the interview to only work with this area and it worked for me. Besides these tips and many others from your videos (I loved the 'act as a consultant' tip), I have applied most of it and it ends up being a great interview, one of the best in the past few years. I felt very confident and I am sure I will get the job. I hope at least ;) Thanks Linda.
I have a very hog issue I must solve, my first language is not English. So when I have an interview call I get so nervous that I speed my speech tooooo much. I forget word or say incorrect words and I feel very scared 😱:( I don’t know how to ever come my insecurities and improve those bad habits
Hi Linda, these were good. I’m prepping for my 3rd round on interview and I found these 5 Tips of yours to be most helpful and useful. I got this, thanks.
These tips are very helpful but I think there are very few content to help new grads pass interviews. In my opinion new grads are the most people who struggle in terms of finding their first career.
The thing is that confidence will be there during your interview. You might be brushing threw questions after questions and still remain perfect but then comes a very difficult behavioral questions that shakes up your confidence. One thing I learned is that they are always trying to break you and say something negative.
Hi. Something I have a problem with, is I'm a naturally quiet person. I try to go into the job confident (or pretending to be confident) but when I meet the interviewer sometimes they're usually more casual and so it feels unnatural to give typical answers, I copy their casualness and end up relaxing and giving casual answers (I also go back to being quiet again..). However I don't know if this right or if they still expect me to give elaborate answers. And sometimes they talk too quickly for me to elaborate further so I can only give short answers.
I actually need to speak confidently because of my entrance exam for the high school I'll hopefully be going to. I need to be confident and bold for them to at least consider me making it into the school so I need to be really good at this!
Linda, Three of these tips helped me interview well. The organization called me back for a second interview. The second interview consisted of 3 interviews in 3 separate interview rooms. Each room consisting of two interviewers. The consultant approach is my personal favorite. THANK YOU! I landed the job!
What do I do if the interviewer is so damn good looking to the point it's distracting? I fall for male interviewers with blue ocean like eyes and trimmed beards, eye contact becomes a nightmare because I go red.
Linda I really wanted to say THANK YOU! Your amazing tips and videos helped me a lot in getting my new job just a few days ago. I was unemployed for several months and it was very frustrating. Thank you for the time and effort you put in all videos, they are extremely helpful. I will be sharing your UA-cam channel and videos to all people who needs a new job or are unemployed. Hello Ms. Raynier. I'm very grateful to see your videos here. I was struggling to land a job even with my experience but I am lucky enough to find a new job by applying what I learned from your videos that I've watched. I'm happy that the hiring manager believed in my capabilities despite of my bad attitude towards my past employer. I promise to be more persistent and to "fix" my attitude in order for me to stay longer on that job, which is really in line with my skills and my passion. Thank you very much. Hoping for the best for your future success. You have a wonderful heart.
Thank you so much i passed my interview because of you, you helped me to be confident and now my value and worth. I've passed during the pandemic still have faith and hope that this pandemic will be over 💕❤
I think the most valuable thing you said that is really going to help me is getting to persuade them. I didn't realize it, but it is definitely the best time to show off everything I've learned and succeeded in my past experiences and jobs. With job interview practice, i guarantee if you practice every day for a couple hours in front of a camera, you will see huge improvement by week 2. By Week 3-4, speaking in interviews will come almost natural to you. Put the work in is what i say.
