Hi Don, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping out me throughout my 4 months interview journey. I might have watched 25+ videos of you and sometimes I use to just listen to them as a podcast during my commute. Thank you for making me realise that preparation is a must. Even though you have to be yourself in the interview, you have to be prepared in advance to reply in the best possible way. Finally yesterday I got an email stating that I got the Job in my Dream Company. I cannot thank you enough. Being a non-native English speaker, you really helped me develop my confidence.

I watched this right before an interview for a network engineer position. I smashed it! Less than a week later, I got offered the position. I just wanted to personally say thank you for this. Interviewer: "Tell me about yourself". Me: I manage the productivity and transaction for a multi-billion dollar company. *Pause for effect* I was a cashier for McDonald's
@@DonGeorgevich Thank you, the interviewer had taken kindly to my approach. I have also assemble a clipboard, pens and paper for critical notes and a folder with lamented documents of my resume and application. The interview had transition smoothly, however there was one question that puzzle me. "If there was one word to describe yourself, what would that be?" I have a number of answers but overall I could not fathom a proper response and concluded my final answer as "Inscrutable". The interviewers began to write something down in a hurry as if he was about to jump out of his sits. I glance down on his note and it read out "Extraordinary". He then look up to me with a smile that has shifted from his blank expression at the beginning of the meeting and proceed to congregate information about my availability, transportation, time and date that I will be starting at the post office.
This is one of the most informative videos I have ever watched, about ANYTHING. Relevant, well-paced, and well-delivered, and comprehensive without being too involved, to me this video is perfect. So many good ideas, perspectives, and food for thought. I wish I had seen it years ago.Thank you so, so much for taking the time to create AND share this wonderful video.
Thank you, I am facing an internet interview and have not worked in many years. This game has changed a bit in the years and your video helped to reassure me to prepare, practice, and most of all - be who I am, be myself.
This man speaks the pure truth! He knows the game perfectly and I followed all his advices from the videos, including this one, and I smashed the 2nd interview! Especially cause I was so poorly prepared for the first one but I improvised by showing excitement for the role and giving good feedback for the company and this was enough to convince my recruiter to grant me a 2nd interview. She also sent me tips and advices how to prepare myself and all of them are in a total accord with this man's advices from the videos. I had 5 days to prepare and that was enough for me. Watching several videos of him and following his advices made me be halfway there with my application process by passing the big interview. Now just the background check and one more basic easy phone interview and the job is mine! Big thanks and respect to Don Georgevic!
Hi Don, I've worked at my current job (banking call center) for over 10 and I'm ready for a change. I found this video extremely beneficial. I'm nervous about the job interviewing process but I want prepare for it. I've subscribed to your UA-cam channel and look forward to watching more videos.
I have been out of the work field for 3 years now and I am HELLA nervous AND fearful of inteviewing and I have been out of the 'hot seat' for even longer. This is very helpful and helps me begin to start to get through my anxiety of interviewing. As confidant as I am...I have to build my confidence and get out of my fearful thoughts and these questions/answers are helping. Thank you!
I just got a job with the help of your videos. In fact, it’s helped me get my last 2 jobs - I seriously love you! Keep up the great and impactful work Sir!
Thank you Don. I followed your tips and practiced them before my interview and I GOT THE JOB! Not only did I get the job, they offered me more than the job was advertised for. I have a massive tendency to waffle but your advice kept me on point. Thank you so much.
Hopefully this helps someone- I conduct interviews as part of my job (operations supervisor.) We do targeted selection style interviews; therefore, it is imperative that applicants answer in STAR format. If you can do that then you're miles ahead of most of the competition. If you don't know what that is, then look it up because I know of very few companies who do not utilize this style interview. Come prepared with very specific examples from your professional career where you demonstrated strengths you feel will be pertinent to job you are applying for. Research the company you're interviewing at. It boggles my mind when I sit down with someone and ask, "So what do you know about this company," and they say something akin to....""mmm, not a whole lot."I instantly feel my time is about to be wasted, and most of the time I'm not wrong. Lastly, work in key words- I can't transcribe every thing you say during the interview, so I write key phrases you say that stand out to me. For instance, say, I am passionate about leading and developing people- it provides me great satisfaction to share in that journey with others. Passionate is a strong word. Use positive language! Good luck everyone!
I am now absolutely horrified that I began my answer to "Tell us a bit about yourself" with "Well, I will start from the beginning. I was born in Minnesota...." and went through the decades. Damn. I have been screwing that question up for way too long.
Great video, as always! I love that you pointed out the importance or going back to the job description when preparing for the interview. It's a great way to find clues about the topics that might be covered in the interview.
This is seriously like a cheat sheet to an Job Interview. I have a Business Sales/Marketing job interview tomorrow and I want to be prepared. There has already been 20 other candidates that have applied but I want to stand out. Thank You very much.
I watched all your videos the last week and got the job. Crazy I have interviewed with this company for the last three years with barely any response. I got a second interview once. I followed your tips and this interview was worlds different. Got the offer 2 hours later. OMG. Your videos are amazing. My one big mistake in the past was not asking SMART question at the end and not using the STAR method for behavioral questions. They keep saying they loved my questions t the end and it created a whole new discussion which helps me get more excited about the position. It was a win-win. Thanks again.
I watched this video the night before and the day of a big interview. I got the job! One of the biggest hit of my interview??? Your #10 I asked "where do you see the person who fills this job in two months, Four month"? This really impressed my interviewer!
Job interviews are stupid. IMO, they're not trying to find a reason to hire you but looking for a reason NOT to hire you. All this BS-ing and none of the crap they ask really matters when you start working.
Typically the interview team is mostly HR and has no idea of what the actual job will entail. Seems like a big power trip to me in the interviews! I am doing day trading (cryptocurrency) and making $4k a month so I can be pickier and not have to grovel with these people...
I just want to say thank you for helping to prepare people for interviews because without jobs we obviously couldn't provide a living for ourselves plus they don't teach these kinds of things in school so I have in the past walked into an interview completely unprepared and ended up failing to get a job. So having someone like you to educate me on the proper way of interviewing free of charge is helpful and amazing and (not to sound weird) heart warming. Thank you sir 😊
I really enjoy your presentations because they are like having an excellent professor in my college classroom. You are excellent in your delivery in every way.
I am really impressed by your style of communication specially the simple way to articulate your point and the emphasis on the key aspect. The information flow is logical and well structured, which improves the chances of knowledge retention. Well done George.
I don't usually comment publicly to videos but here I wanna say big thank you!! Although I saw less than half of this video and even arrived late to the 1 hour interview by 20 minutes. I got the job in stunning colours. They tendered the offer even before I got home. Many thanks from the city of London.
danielle middy you're allowed to use experiences throughout your life, that happened in college or on teams etc. As long as you can relate them back to the work place. These questions are often used for entry level positions to see if you have the skills required :)
Sorry but saying that is way to vague. You need to be more specific.Tell them a time you had to learn a difficult topic or task in a short amount of time.Show them your work ethic like how you overcome difficulties. You can't just say you have a strong work ethic that will not convince anyone.
they said I was too enthusiastic, I thought that was a good thing, idk, I recently found another better opportunity that was a lot easier to obtain which makes no sense, its crazy how people are so different but thank you so much for asking.
Hah I told an interviewer once that I was enthusiastic and he immediately started telling me how redundant the job was and how my resume looked like I had a variety of experiences in comparison. He said I wasn't a "good fit" and I didn't get the job.
I did not get the job. I was hoping to come back here and write that I landed my dream job but this employer was very particular and didn’t want the typical interview questions. Her first question to me was “if you had all the money in the world and all the time what would your day look like” I nailed the answer. The problem was that I didn’t send a thank you note after the first interview. I was invited a second time and the hiring manager said “In the future whether you get this job or not, don’t forget to send the thank you email” I overlooked that small detail and and still on the journey of finding a job. Wishing you all the best out there in the same journey.
Thank you, Don. I watched and studied a half dozen of your videos before my interviews for a blue collar job near my hometown. I accepted an offer yesterday. God bless
This has been an amazing interview tutorial (EXTREMELY useful). Thank you for sharing this valuable knowledge - I truly appreciate it (I just joined your channel).
LOL... I was admiring it, but also questioned if it was real or a green screen LOL... not hating, just curious. It's pretty awesome to say the least :-)
Haha the company I interviewed with didn't ask me hardly any of the normal questions! But this video still prepared me, and "Tell us about yourself" sure is a big one! Be yourself and if yourself sucks, get better and get some good boundaries and mentors in your life! Good luck all of you interviewees! You're gonna do great!
I just wanted to say Thank You! Every job I've had in my career has fallen into my lap. I've never really felt pressure to interview, because I really already had the job and the interview was just a formality. But TODAY I have a REAL interview for a job I really want. So I started with this video a few days ago, and started practicing my responses. Moving long term memory to short term memory - that's a brilliant hack! I made Notecards with 50 possible questions and practiced my answers out loud. I'm still nervous, but I feel MUCH more prepared after watching this video. Thank you so much! I'll let you know if I get the job.
Never say you were fired. If they call your ex-employer and they reveal they fired you they are liable. They are not supposed to say you were fired, just confirm you used to work there,
The depth, detail and clarity of the break down of each question is beyond expectations. You've done a fantastic job! I can't thank you enough!! You're a great help, I appreciate the work gone in. Thank you.

1) Form a nonprofit corp, 2) do volunteer work for elderly or veterans, 3) solicit donations from big companies for your non-profit. Even if your nonprofit doesn't work, you can talk about your experience starting and running a nonprofit. Someday you may realize how GOLD this advice really is.

Thank you for all of your tips, Don. I just landed a great job and it is due in part to studying your videos and taking your tips to heart. You do great work on your channel!
Congrats. You are amazing. Best of luck to you
Interviewer: "Tell me about yourself".
Me: I manage the productivity and transaction for a multi-billion dollar company.

One word that describes you us a critical thinker

Thanks a lot
This is one of the most informative videos I have ever watched, about ANYTHING. Relevant, well-paced, and well-delivered, and comprehensive without being too involved, to me this video is perfect. So many good ideas, perspectives, and food for thought. I wish I had seen it years ago.Thank you so, so much for taking the time to create AND share this wonderful video.
many thanks
Big thanks and respect to Don Georgevic!
many thanks my friend
Hi Don,
I've worked at my current job (banking call center) for over 10 and I'm ready for a change.
Thank you!
Interview today at 10:30 am this really helped , thank-you !
Bree A did you get is beautiful
👍
Did you get the job
I just got a job with the help of your videos. In fact, it’s helped me get my last 2 jobs - I seriously love you! Keep up the great and impactful work Sir!
That is awesome!
Thank you Don. I followed your tips and practiced them before my interview and I GOT THE JOB! Not only did I get the job, they offered me more than the job was advertised for. I have a massive tendency to waffle but your advice kept me on point. Thank you so much.
Don, I want to say a huge THANK YOU! Your videos really helped me get prepared and nail an interview! I got the job! 👏😊
many thanks
Why should we hire you?: *Cause you are hiring*
🤣🤣
I feel as if ... if I say this today ? things won’t go well for me.
MOOD but obviously we can't say that haha
🤣🤣🤣
Boss: *under his breath* damn he's good.
Watching this the night before my interview. It's my first interview as I've never had a job before and I'm so nervous :''''''^)
Hello Every one! Please, DO all DON is saying!! It works!! I got many written proposals by companies. This Is gold who Is looking for a job.
I'm transitioning from the military into a full time job. I really appreciate the time you took to prepare these informational videos.
Eva's Ivy Lol! 😂😂 You’re not alone friend!
I think I might have mentioned my cat once.
I feel like my past self was a fool! Never realized the right way to answer that question til now
LOL he literally wont give a shit where you're from 😂😂
I once told an interviewer about my grandfather dying when I was 9. I get emotional and overshare when I panic.
My head is always blank, blank stares, nothing, just crickets sounds 😐😳
Azul Tequila omg I thought I was the only one I suck at interviews 😅
Yup . Palms r sweaty, my heart pounds while they just stare at me .
Azul Tequila story of my life
You should work at the post office. That’s perfect for that type
Ohhhh I hate that...
This sh#! is awesome. Don you out did yourself. You had me hanging on to every word and now I feel very confident going into my interview.
I'm uplgyilgyiguigugfuigug
Are you related to him? :-)
Mitch Hedberg joke:
Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Mitch: Celebrating the five year anniversary of this question.
Lol😂
YOU"RE HIRED!
I watched this video the night before and the day of a big interview. I got the job! One of the biggest hit of my interview??? Your #10 I asked "where do you see the person who fills this job in two months, Four month"? This really impressed my interviewer!
Thanks!
I have an interview for Culinary internship tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Joe Black How'd it go?
Have the 4th and final interview for a software developer position in 2 hours. I'm stupid nervous, to say the least.
Brandon it's already yours!
You were right, ended up getting an offer.
Brandon 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Cool, Brandon, that's what I'm training to be as well! Much success to you!
Brandon going for my Network Support Specialist interview tomorrow
Job interviews are stupid. IMO, they're not trying to find a reason to hire you but looking for a reason NOT to hire you. All this BS-ing and none of the crap they ask really matters when you start working.
Valentyne S. exactly. like i went to a mobile retail store and the reps were so grumpy and hated their jobs.
Nice
Typically the interview team is mostly HR and has no idea of what the actual job will entail. Seems like a big power trip to me in the interviews! I am doing day trading (cryptocurrency) and making $4k a month so I can be pickier and not have to grovel with these people...
Valentyne S. True to a certain extent.
Hahah
I just want to say thank you for helping to prepare people for interviews because without jobs we obviously couldn't provide a living for ourselves plus they don't teach these kinds of things in school so I have in the past walked into an interview completely unprepared and ended up failing to get a job. So having someone like you to educate me on the proper way of interviewing free of charge is helpful and amazing and (not to sound weird) heart warming. Thank you sir 😊
I really enjoy your presentations because they are like having an excellent professor in my college classroom. You are excellent in your delivery in every way.
I'm only 16 but this dude is hired
I was asked "what type on person can you absolutely not work with?" I said crackheads and alcoholics. I didn't get the job.
smolville it's true shit though. 👍🤣
Buahahahahahahaha hahahahahaha
😂😂😂
Lolol interviewer prob was one or the other
haaaaaaaaaa !!!
I am really impressed by your style of communication specially the simple way to articulate your point and the emphasis on the key aspect. The information flow is logical and well structured, which improves the chances of knowledge retention. Well done George.
I come back to this video every time I need to do another interview and it has helped me every single time. Thank you for putting this out.
I don't usually comment publicly to videos but here I wanna say big thank you!!
Although I saw less than half of this video and even arrived late to the 1 hour interview by 20 minutes.
I got the job in stunning colours.
They tendered the offer even before I got home.
Many thanks from the city of London.
Got the job. A torrential shower of big fat "Thank You"s my friend x
What if its for an entry position job and you don't have much experience?
Do you have any volunteer experience?
danielle middy you're allowed to use experiences throughout your life, that happened in college or on teams etc. As long as you can relate them back to the work place. These questions are often used for entry level positions to see if you have the skills required :)
Practice 'sucking' on cucumbers?
Sorry but saying that is way to vague. You need to be more specific.Tell them a time you had to learn a difficult topic or task in a short amount of time.Show them your work ethic like how you overcome difficulties. You can't just say you have a strong work ethic that will not convince anyone.
I have 4 years experience and I have a job interview I am so scared😓😩
Wish i seen this 2hrs ago :{ wish me luck plz
Double Am how did it go my dear??😊
they said I was too enthusiastic, I thought that was a good thing, idk, I recently found another better opportunity that was a lot easier to obtain which makes no sense, its crazy how people are so different but thank you so much for asking.
Never heard of jucy
Hah I told an interviewer once that I was enthusiastic and he immediately started telling me how redundant the job was and how my resume looked like I had a variety of experiences in comparison. He said I wasn't a "good fit" and I didn't get the job.
Double Am 10 months later...
I was invited a second time and the hiring manager said “In the future whether you get this job or not, don’t forget to send the thank you email”
I overlooked that small detail and and still on the journey of finding a job. Wishing you all the best out there in the same journey.
Thank you, Don. I watched and studied a half dozen of your videos before my interviews for a blue collar job near my hometown. I accepted an offer yesterday. God bless
sir you seem very sincere and helpful but employers can be super asholes
That's why you should come prepared to interview them just as much as they are interviewing you!
This has been an amazing interview tutorial (EXTREMELY useful). Thank you for sharing this valuable knowledge - I truly appreciate it (I just joined your channel).
glad you like it.
haters will say, the background is fake.
LOL... I was admiring it, but also questioned if it was real or a green screen LOL... not hating, just curious. It's pretty awesome to say the least :-)
Hahahaha
It ain’t hating if it’s true lol
I mean honestly, how hard is it to get a real office background? Or if you get a fake one make it more realistic.
😂😂😂
A big thank you don I watched your videos all day before my interview and I tell you it went well
Confidence is EXTREMELY important in anything you wanna do in life and particularly in interviews.
It sure is
Never say you were fired. If they call your ex-employer and they reveal they fired you they are liable. They are not supposed to say you were fired, just confirm you used to work there,
well they can also asked how u was as an employee
The depth, detail and clarity of the break down of each question is beyond expectations. You've done a fantastic job! I can't thank you enough!! You're a great help, I appreciate the work gone in. Thank you.
I seriously elaborate all tour efforts to inspire young hungry lions like us who are seeking a job. I studied your videos for 2 months and I got a job. ♥
Omg I have a interview fo a group home in 6 hours and I’m not going to sleep I need to practice btw I’m 18 this my first actual 9 to 5 Job fresh out of high-school pray for me

Very helpful tool for a first time professional job seeker. I'm preparing for an interview and after watching this video, my confidence got boosted from a 5% to a 100% now. Thanks for the tips
Thanks George, I can watch you and stay focused, but not so with some of the others. I'm 57 years old and have a Customer Service interview in a couple days, so have time to watch more of your vids :))
"What are your biggest weaknesses?"

What if you are switching careers a bit and this is the last job I will have and retire from? How do you work that into where will you be in 5 years?
About to finish with university... This video answers lots of questions on how to answer interviewers' questions I might soon be facing. Truly helpful. Thanks Don
I had applied these advices and i've been succesful in my job interviews
I found the background behind of you is fake, right? But your course is great and you are a very kind teacher.
Haha
I have 6 minutes before my interview. Hope I land the job!
DieOrSuffer howd it go?
Haley Nicolette I got the job :D
DieOrSuffer congrats!!!!
what if you're a teenager with no job experience just starting out
Use experiences from school....team captain for a team to show leadership. Summer internships....volunteer opportunities you were a part of etc.
Use your bunny selling experiences
Give the examples of your studies such as a project that you have worked on. Teamwork, prioritising, give life experience examples. If you were working with kids you may give examples how did you manage them.
That’s definitely me imma get a job interview soon 🙀
Hey Don,
I have been following you quite recently on that video you have posted about 12 questions to ask your employer, I have nailed my second round interview for my dream job thanks to your video and for that reason sir you deserve a lot of gratitude. Thank you.
