Ehrmagerd I made this for dinner tonight. I don't have digestion problems so I just included the whites of the scallions and the leeks for the extra flavour and didn't want to waste them. My 3 year old DEVOURED his portion. Will definitely be adding this to my regular roation! Thank you guys so much!
Thank you so much for this low FODMAP recipe. My 22 year old daughter has Crohn's disease. I'm trying to convince her to eat more plant based but because she is often in a Crohn's flare up, her gut cannot handle many vegetables. So glad to find a vegan recipe she can hopefully eat without causing her pain!! Thanks so much for great recipes, you are blessings!!
Love your videos and how much you care about your subscribers. You try to teach us so many ways to cook good wholesome foods and help those of us with certain issues. Thank you for that.
This looks amazing! I think I may have figured out the recipe that I need to meal prep for dinners for this week!! Thank you for posting this! All of your recipes are inspiring and help people be able to eat healthier. I always send my clients to your channel to learn more about healthy plant-based cooking!
After seeing this video yesterday, I went out today and bought all the ingredients and it’s delicious! I just used whole wheat pasta, regular white flour, and Panko bread crumbs and wow what a great dish! Thanks a lot guys. Also, my house smells fab now hahaha
Could you please make a list of ingredients, looks delicious but I’m spanish and need traduction for some things you used, thank you so much in advance !
This has been a constant in our lockdown meal plan! All you need to feel good. We have used tofu instead of oyster mushrooms, if we couldn't get it or didn't want to leave the house.
Absolutely love a good pasta bake! Thanks guys! Never ever heard of the term ‘fodmap’ but gut issues happen more regularly with me lately when eating away from home....I ate one slice of raisin toast at the qantas Lounge when travelling the other morning and had stomach problems all day....probably should just stick with veges/salads when out.
Great video as always. I believe that Crohns sufferers are advised to avoid nutritional yeast so they may need to leave out that particular ingredient.
Your videos and recipes look great. Finding your recipes always a challenge if even possible. All searches I’ve tried on your website do not produce this recipe.
Gonna try this! A video on how to get kids on board when going vegan would be great, or how, in general to convince kids that leeks, mushrooms and lentils aren’t evil. I have three girls, two of which would survive going vegan, the third would probably starve. 😆 We can go vegetarian easy, but vegan is a whole nother story. Advice appreciated? We are currently on a “normal but healthy” diet, we eat meat eggs dairy etc. How do I transition everyone? 😬
@@d.rabbitwhite Oatly have a detailed FAQ on their website which explains why their products are not gluten-free, but this is the main gist: "Products that are labeled “gluten-free” may not contain more than 20 ppm gluten, and the gluten content in Oatly’s products is not this low." www.oatly.com/int/faq
It's quite easy to make your own Oat Milk it takes less the five mins and is also much cheaper then buying it and less wast. I make it all the time for cooking and I add a little sweetener if I want to drink it. ua-cam.com/video/d9b3JS4eIRI/v-deo.html
This is delicious and becoming part of my regular rotation of meals. I follow a no added far WFPB lifestyle so instead of oil I mix the flour with water to make the “roux”, water sauté the veggies, and omit the oil drizzled on the top. Thanks for recipes the whole family enjoys!
Finally someone uploads a vegan, creamy pasta recipe WITHOUT cashews (or tofu)! I'm allergic to both. And also, please make more low FODMAP recipes because I find it so difficult to find easy, vegan low FODMAP recipes. When I first started eating whole food plant based (by slowly incorporating legumes, fiber grains and veggies) I felt great. My gut health felt like it was the best it had ever been (I've been suffering with IBS for many years)... Until this year when I started experience painful bloating, and just really upset stomach. I don't need to go into details. It's mentally draining to not have a good gut health especially when I study at uni because I'm worried about my stomach at school. Because of this, I've started to eat fish and eggs again because it seems like my stomach can't handle too much fiber etc. I'd love to be able to eat 100% whole food plant based again so I'd be really happy to see more low FODMAP recipes!
have you tried gluten free vegan? I've read a blog once of someone with the same issue and she started eating more protein and fats and less carbs (also gluten free) and that worked for her
@@88Mikje123 I have tried it in different periods of my life and I do think it helps, but also when I start eating gluten again I don't really have much issues either... At least not right away. Sometimes I feel like I tolerate gluten well, and sometimes not. But I honestly think I'm gonna try going gluten free once again and maybe only eat gluten if there's not a gluten free option available :)
Yes it is, because it is made out of certified gluten-free oats in North America. Oatly, sold in Germany, is only considered „low gluten“ because it does contain, due to the manufacturing process using different oats than in the NA, between 100-20 parts per million of gluten. Only products with 20ppm and less are considered gluten-free and “should” be consumed by people suffering from celiac disease
Just laughed until I cried. I don't know how I missed that you were on the Dublin Episode of Somebody Feed Phil. OMG, so funny!! So sweet. Glad you got the visibility.
It's low FODMAP, which is a diet followed by people with food sensitivities or intolerances, because certain foods cause issues in their digestive tract, intestines, leading to uncomfortable or painful conditions like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, bloating, gas, diarrhea.
I worked for a GI physician and he would often recommend this diet to patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or other gastrointestinal irritation. The diet only limits carbs that are "fermentable oligo-, di-, monosaccharides and polyols." (FODMAP). FODMAPs draw water into your digestive tract, which could make you bloated. If you eat too much of them, they can hang around in your gut and ferment. For most people, FODMAPs aren't a problem until you eat too many of them, but some people are more sensitive to them. For those people, a low FODMAP diet can help with symptoms of bloating, gas, and GI pain. You can google "FODMAP" to see what foods have a high amount of them if you are interested.

Such good natured people! Love them :)
Just bought your new Veg Box cookbook and am thrilled to cook ALL of it!
Made this and it was mind blowing delicious!
I’d absolutely buy a low FODMAP cookbook from you

This looks so simple and yet amazing. Definitely going to make this!
oh my god this recipe has cured all my problems at once
Love this :) I'm not so much into mushrooms, though, do you have an idea what I could replace them with?
Yummeee. Thanks guys.
I adore Oat milk =
One to definitely try. Brilliant.
Thanks a million Judith! Hope you enjoy it 😀😀
Easy to make your own. 1 cup organic oats, 4 cups water. Blitz in blender, strain withnut milk bag.
Oh yum!! This looks amazing!! Gonna have to try it!

That's on my list! I looks like it freezes well also.
Looks delightful 🦄
mmmmmmm....yummy ! :) Thankyou
Love it, thank you boys
Can't wait to try this, low fodmap vegan all the way.....
Yay! Another video! Im living
Can this be made ahead of time, popped in the fridge, and baked when needed? Also Oatly UK milk is not certified gluten free, only the US version is!
If it is the same recipe, certification may be superfluous. If one does the research - i mean...it could be fine.

Thanks Dudes!! Thinking of trying this with tofu instead of mushrooms. Is tofu low fodmap? 🌱
good question! I'll have to look this one up.
Tofu is made of soybeans, therefore is, most of the time, high fodmap :(
Thanks for the suggestion to use tofu
Actually, oatly is only glutenfree in the US. In Germany it isn't glutenfree by definition
bored lord ??? Huh???
It’s gluten free in Canada.

I’m thinking of making this with potatoes that I’ve already boiled. What do you think?
How long would you say will this keep in the fridge for?
Did you cook the pasta first before it went into the oven?
Is this freezer friendly

Can I pay for the course in USD?
Sounds good, but I'll have to find out how to make the sauce without the use of all that oil. It looks yummy though!
Eurocat Games just use a couple of tablespoons of nut butter

"LOW fodma(?? What the word is).
What does that mean. Excuse my ignorance!

@@EMunaBee - thanks & Kimberley .
And take care now. X
@@theBenson5 great explanation!
What can I use instead of mushrooms? thanks :)
I'd use zucchini.
I think my first choice would be artichoke hearts. Zucchini or bell peppers would also work well.
Those look like dessert spoons, not table spoons?
Is this healthy?
That is the tiniest most miserable looking spatula I have ever seen LOL. What happened to your lovely wooden ones that guy made for you?
.
What is fodmap?
