Hi, I have a question: Could You please create a low FODMAP playlist on your channel? A friend of mine has Morbus Crohn and I am vegan so I can choose easily a menu, when he´s with us to eat. Thanks
Recipe: Half a thumb-sized piece of ginger (chopped or grated) 300 gram Tempeh block 1 Tbsp. oil into the pan Green of approximately 6 green onions Half a red chili (up to taste) 1 zucchini (300 grams) 250 grams red pepper 1/2 boc choi Pinch of salt 200 g tin of coconut milk 400 ml water 4 T. Tamari 2 T. maple syrup 2 T. Curry powder Juice of 2 limes Coriander/Cilantro leaves Handful of bean sprouts
I am so happy, I have come across your channel. I love your recipes, your knowledge and energy. I am going to enrol in your online courses, great for the family to learn from you too. Keep up with the great work and creative more delicious, nutritional and healthy meals. Thank you :)
Looks fab, crunchy, tasty and quicky. I have Ibs and eat some FODMAP but find somethings like tofu and peppers aggravating. I have stage 4 Endometriosis and adenomyosis, fibroids and Fibromyalgia, all causes tiredness and abdominal/bowel issues, very much appreciated if you could create a course for the millions of women who suffer with this dehabilitating condition, I think one in ten, although my stage which is severe is rarer. There's so little treatment except horrible Injections of hormones, hysterectomy and ablation, I'm trying Acupuncture, massage and herbal remedies etc but maybe a diet plan might help and as I eat a lot of vegetarian and vegan food, you guys may just be the ones to do something for the condition. BTW I know you are Irish but you so remind me of the people back in Yorkshire and Liverpool, (big Irish community and I have Irish blood myself) back home, funny, warm and a bit surreal, and a nice easygoing style, it's like bringing home into my kitchen when I watch you guys. I live in Kent and find the South and Southern people so different to my home, it's like Alien World! Bathing in Tamari isn't enough, you have to fill the worlds oceans and rivers with the stuff and rename the world Tamariverse! Must say though I love it, I use it in veggie casseroles, soups, gravy, etc.
Tempeh -- "more grizly, more gnarly" taste? Hmmm... I assume it is an acquired taste -- a little scary to me. I'll have to take the leap sometime; haven't really gotten into Tofu yet, but you make it look pretty good in some of your recipes. Leaning toward vegan and your instructions & recipes are inspiring, and you two are pretty cute and fun to watch !
Tempeh is great if the texture of tofu isn't for you. It can be a little bitter, so if you try it I'd recommend steaming it in a pan in a tiny bit of veg stock for a minute or two. For some reason this cuts down on the bitterness and then you can flavor it with whatever you like!
Yes I'd say tempeh is quite a unique taste, delicious imo, but may take some getting used to. I wasn't a huge fan until I cooked it really well in a frying pan, high heat for a while until it looks sort of burnt, very dark. Bit of soy sauce too.
The best thing to eat with digestive problems is FRUIT and fresh juices. I love you guys but all in all you've got it wrong, the only thing to really take the burden off the gut to heal is the easiest digestible food, fruit, and no digestion at all, juice. I'm not saying this to cut you down but I have truly experiences the hell of IBS and Crohns, debilitatingly for years, and this is what cured me. Herbs and colonics help nearly as much!

Hi,

Thanks
I'm going to make this later
Low FODMAP whole foods. Perfect.
Thanks enjoy!
Hey! What's FODMAP?
Do you know the serving size for this dish?
How about using garlic infused olive oil?
You guys are real gems.
Recipe:
Half a thumb-sized piece of ginger (chopped or grated)
300 gram Tempeh block
1 Tbsp. oil into the pan
Green of approximately 6 green onions
Half a red chili (up to taste)
1 zucchini (300 grams)
250 grams red pepper
1/2 boc choi
Pinch of salt
200 g tin of coconut milk
400 ml water
4 T. Tamari
2 T. maple syrup
2 T. Curry powder
Juice of 2 limes
Coriander/Cilantro leaves
Handful of bean sprouts
Remember to those who are following low fodmap that you should make your own curry powder. Because almost all spice mix contains onion/ garlic.
Ah this looks incredible - love that you're providing a low fodmap recipe as well!

As soon as I see your video in my news feed, I start salivating... 🤤😂 For real! 💗
The food looks good too though.
Love it! Thanks for sharing :-)
OMG, Steve correcting David on all of the stats 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone know the serving size for this dish? Also do not use the white part of the green onion or bokchoy they are high fod map
What other seasonings could you add for a Vietnamese dish?
Thanks, guys! Could you make a low fodmap and AIP compliant recipe of some sort? I find it challenging.
Will work on one we have something like this on our Happy gut course 👍🏼😄

Lmao I also have a twin (named David haha) twinless people can't understand the pesky and petty twin passive aggressive dynamics 😂😂
Haha!! Love it! Twin power - do u guys still get along?
@@thehappypear haha well I live in Texas he lives in London I would say the distance helps hahahaha
Doesn’t trmpeh have wheat in? And soya?
isn't curry powder high fodmap? can't find one that doesn't contain onion or garlic
Keens curry powder is low FODMAP. 😊
Link to the classes is not working?
Just fixed it there thanks so much!
What bgg is low fodmap?
I'd have liked to have seen the finished result 😔
👍👍👍
How tempeh is low fodmap?
It’s a low fermentable carbohydrate in your microbiome - check out Monash university for specifics
Link still not working.
It should be working now
You forgot to put in the link to procure a twin. lol

Just these foods? Where is the protein and carbs?

A lot of people on the low-FODMAP diet have fructose intolerance/malabsorbtion - fruit is absolutely not going to heal those people.
Coconut, i‘m allergic to it! And it has too many transfat in it.
It’s more saturated rather than trans fats - sorry to hear 👍🏼😄
Yes, you’re right! And i was wrong, sorry guys. (But i still wont eat coconut😄)
That's a LOT of sodium..
Are these guys brothers, lovers, or both?
