While growing up, I never knew my dad to get sick. Things that he used to do have become more evident to me as I discover through teachings via the benefits of what he did. He never got sick. He consumed cloves, and other natural fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and herbs that I am now including in my diet and health regimen. GOD provides!!! Thank you for sharing.

@ouida485. Your father was very wise with his natural remedies. My wife's father eats 1 whole lime in slices every morning for breakfast with his plantain. He is 92 years old and looks like 60 and has the heart of a teenager hus Cardiologist says. Go figure plants and fruits especially citrus are better than meds. Take care, use his remedies.

My auntie often carried cloves in her purse, which she kept in a small pill box and chewed as a breath freshener. My 4 year old relative suffered from asthma and was also autistic. When he saw my auntie eating cloves, he imitated her, and every day he would beg for one clove until one day his asthma completely gone.

Best to keep whole cloves in mouth and simply soak between cheek and gums. Give a slight chew on one clove now and then. I use two. Keep in all day. Even at night. I've been using cloves since 2007.
If you get a tooth ache put about 1/8 tsp of ground cloves in an empty teabag. Then, roll and place between cheek and gums where toothache is. Tooth pain should be relieved in about 10 to 20 minutes. Replace daily as needed.

Using olive oil with a few drops of clove oil is what I use for my children and grandchildren. When they were teething, it worked wonders. I was really into aromatherapy at the time, and had bought some clove oil and remembered the smell from when I was young in the toothache medicine my grandma used, so I decided to try it on my first born, not only did it help with her teething. All three of my children had perfect straight teeth and I did too, but I never realized it must’ve been my grandmother in the clothes, I am 69 now I don’t have all my teeth still but the ones I do are very good no toothaches but what happened to me happened in a car accident and then medication really messed my teeth up, I’m thinking about getting clothes again I have really been thinking about my health lately and using natural remedies that God gave us, I do not like GMO‘s. That’s what I consider pharmaceutical drugs. Well, I know that’s what they are. There’s synthetic prescription drugs changed a little bit from the natural form some people don’t understand it takes a little bit longer for some supplements to work, then a prescription drug but if you stick to it, it rapes great benefits God bless anyone who passes by here protect him, keep them in good health, and Jesus, I pray. Whole, dried cloves (as compared to ground cloves as a powder) are hard and sharp and woody. I've started soaking several overnight, in a tiny shotglass of water, before I go to bed. By morning, they are soggy / spongey and a lot easier on the teeth; tongue; and inside of the mouth. I chew the soaked cloves and swallow them down, with the soak water they soaked in overnight. The taste is still quite the morning wake-up kick (!) but washing it all down with other water helps.

Ever since I discovered that the main ingredient in Tooth Ache (product sold over the market) was clove oil, I started to chew on cloves whenever one of my teeth starts hurting. After doing so, it could be weeks, months or even over a year before I even have to do so again. The stuff's just pure magic. Recently, I did buy a bottle of clove oil (chewing cloves and then pulling the refuse through your teeth for 5 minutes is a bit nasty; lol), but honestly, just chewing on cloves, imo, is a better way. Highly recommend chewing (then pulling through your teeth) on cloves for 5 minutes then rinsing out your mouth with water if you ever get a tooth ache. Did you notice how often the word INFLAMMATION came up? Yeah. That tells me much of what we consume causes inflammation resulting in a plethora of illnesses. As a colorectal cancer survivor, this is the first time I recall ever hearing about whole cloves' natural properties being a solution to inflammation. Thank you!! I just wish he would've also suggested how much to consume daily. As I read through the comments, I was able to get a sense for how much and then of course, listen to my body, as I'm sure it'll tell me when too much is too much. I started oil pulling for 20 min. in the morning [I started w/5 min, and worked up]. It took a while, but my gums are now pink and healthy. Never got the cleaning, and now I don't need it. Also, don't use toothpaste w/flouride, it attacks the thyroid. Neem or xylitol are better options. Good luck!

Don't 'mislead' yourself to think it's just cloves.
The practice of chewing on a specific herb in small amounts through out the day is a small part of Ayurveda, practiced for generations.
In selecting a herb specific to an imbalance...chewing, masticating well then swallowing such herbs can help much in tandem with other approaches to the same imbalances.
If for example, you find you are getting an upset stomach from too much coffee. The obvious is to stop drinking so much, but you can also as many times as comfortable chew thoroughly a few cardamom pods(and their seeds inside) at a time, and swallow the juices and spitting out the fibre from the shell.
Be careful of the herb you select(including my suggestion). Everyone has their own constitution and there is no one herb fits all and can contribute towards imbalances themselves. Some people might be too sensitive to cloves and may in fact not be helpful at all.

Also shake some Vietnamese cinnamon in the cups before brewing. There will be residue on the bottom. I just swirl the last bit of coffee and swallow in one gulp. How do you store them? Just on the counter in a sealed container?

Thank you for the info about the lady on chewing tobacco. I am trying to quit. I will start chewing cloves. I hope this will repair the damage. Blessings.

While I do love cloves, I have to be very careful because they are high in oxalates. And if you have trouble assimilating oxalates it can cause arthritis like symptoms pain throughout your body. If you have problems with your liver it can cause liver damage...
So you have to be very cautious even though cloves are healthy

This was very informative and helpful, I learned a lot and have already started adding cloves to my daily health regimen. However, I do have two comments about the video: first, the video doesn't tell how many cloves to eat daily for optimum benefit, nor whether they should be chewed, made into a tea, added to food, etc. Also, I would have preferred listening to a real human voice, rather than a robotic artificial voice. The robotic "narrator" made quite a few pronunciation errors that I found a bit irritating, for example, the mispronunciation of: "compounds, inflammatory, informative, arteries, respiratory" and a few others. Other than that, it was a very helpful video and I appreciate the information.

I entirely agree - the narrator is hopeless!!!

@@evelinaalaily385 I agree. Probably because the narrator is a machine! A real live person would pronounce the words correctly.

Exactly valuable natural medicine information delivered by a robot. A foreigner speaking with an accent is human and beautiful but a robot is mechanical! Not pleasant to listen to.

I’m protesting any and all channels that I come across that uses non-human voice as the narrator. You get two thumbs down, incomplete view of video and do not recommend this channel from me. Use voice God gave you!
      * I will make this an exception and not completely condemn this channel due to the importance of good health shared here.

I agree, I am no longer wasting my valuable time listening to an AI narrator.
