I chew two or three cloves a day and I chew them thoroughly as opposed to just swallowing them. I'm a t2 diabetic and these keep my blood glucose levels under control better than any medication. But be careful they can lower it that much and sometimes that fast you can end up having a hypo. I also eat raw garlic and ginger for blood pressure control. I have a ginger and clove tea twice a day which I forgot to mention but raw ginger which I take for blood pressure apparently takes blood glucose down too.
@@Winifredcole2234 I never measure anything I'm afraid. I just take half a dozen thin slices about an inch long off a piece of ginger twice a day have it in food or drink. I eat a raw clove of garlic but a lot of people can't eat it like that I understand so you put it in something toward the end of cooking. Slice very thinly or grate may help. I'll gues the ginger grated would be a heaped teaspoon full. Chew a couple of cloves through the day as well because they all help toward your health and well being. I also take supplements... Zinc Vitamin D3 Magnesium (3 types in one pill) B complex Codliver oil Vitamin C and eat nuts and berries everyday. I eat around ten eggs a week and a lot of fresh veg soups or curries. I eat very few things out of packets and boxes I never eat crisps or in American ... chips. You should try oil pulling for your gums. with coconut oil or sesame oil. google it. I was told I needed a $750.00 periodontal cleaning. I started oil pulling for 20 min. in the morning [I started w/5 min, and worked up]. It took a while, but my gums are now pink and healthy. Never got the cleaning, and now I don't need it. Also, don't use toothpaste w/flouride, it attacks the thyroid. Neem or xylitol are better options. Good luck!
I very lightly squeeze two cloves between my teeth on each side of my mouth for up to an hour or until they are completely void of flavour then swallow the remaining fragments. Who really knows if it’s beneficial for me but I like the aroma and flavour.
Don't 'mislead' yourself to think it's just cloves. The practice of chewing on a specific herb in small amounts through out the day is a small part of Ayurveda, practiced for generations. In selecting a herb specific to an imbalance...chewing, masticating well then swallowing such herbs can help much in tandem with other approaches to the same imbalances. If for example, you find you are getting an upset stomach from too much coffee. The obvious is to stop drinking so much, but you can also as many times as comfortable chew thoroughly a few cardamom pods(and their seeds inside) at a time, and swallow the juices and spitting out the fibre from the shell. Be careful of the herb you select(including my suggestion). Everyone has their own constitution and there is no one herb fits all and can contribute towards imbalances themselves. Some people might be too sensitive to cloves and may in fact not be helpful at all.
Thank you for your comment. Not everything works for everyone the same. Every single human body is the same, yet different and an herb that helps one person, can be a hinderance to another. I'm of the belief that you try something, test it yourself and then, most importantly, LISTEN to your own body.

I put a clove in my empty coffee cup, pour the brewed coffee in and let it soften somewhat as I sip my coffee. Cloves are like chewing on an old stick so this is one way to soften them a little. I do the same for my husband's hot tea. Also shake some Vietnamese cinnamon in the cups before brewing. There will be residue on the bottom. I just swirl the last bit of coffee and swallow in one gulp. It will be gritty but it's alot better than taking a script for the rest of my life. Hi. From my health studies as a lifelong learner of many subjects, I can say CLOVES is the BEST antioxidants than any other things. But be careful when chewing only because it can taint the color of your teeth. You can use whole or ground cloves. And it's probably best to add water with it and don't forget to use a straw. Lovelyme Lo from Memphis
So what's your recipie for eating or drinking cloves ? I'm trying to learn all I can at my age and health conditions. Thank anyone in advance for your replies.
I absolutely love to chew 3-4 in morning along with about 4 thin slices of fresh ginger with a little salt………I love it………I’m always worried i eat to much but can’t help it😂

just put 2 t. cloves and lots of thin slices of ginger root in about 1 c. of balsamic vinegar, and letting them infuse for a couple of weeks....such a good combo.
Cloves seems to be good. I tried it yesterday in a tea because sugar levels were high. Next thing I knew it was down to 93 a going down faster if hadn’t eaten anything. I must admit I took my medication, but the medication by it self never move it down that fast. I will research this further. I hope it will get rid of my asthma.
Chewing cloves may help freshen breath, soothe a sore throat, and improve digestion. It may also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which could provide additional health benefits. However, it's important to note that chewing cloves in excess or for long periods of time may cause mouth irritation or damage to tooth enamel.
Thank you for the info about the lady on chewing tobacco. I am trying to quit. I will start chewing cloves. I hope this will repair the damage. Blessings.
While I do love cloves, I have to be very careful because they are high in oxalates. And if you have trouble assimilating oxalates it can cause arthritis like symptoms pain throughout your body. If you have problems with your liver it can cause liver damage... So you have to be very cautious even though cloves are healthy
This was very informative and helpful, I learned a lot and have already started adding cloves to my daily health regimen. However, I do have two comments about the video: first, the video doesn't tell how many cloves to eat daily for optimum benefit, nor whether they should be chewed, made into a tea, added to food, etc. Also, I would have preferred listening to a real human voice, rather than a robotic artificial voice. The robotic "narrator" made quite a few pronunciation errors that I found a bit irritating, for example, the mispronunciation of: "compounds, inflammatory, informative, arteries, respiratory" and a few others. Other than that, it was a very helpful video and I appreciate the information.
Exactly valuable natural medicine information delivered by a robot. A foreigner speaking with an accent is human and beautiful but a robot is mechanical! Not pleasant to listen to.
I’m protesting any and all channels that I come across that uses non-human voice as the narrator. You get two thumbs down, incomplete view of video and do not recommend this channel from me. Use voice God gave you! * I will make this an exception and not completely condemn this channel due to the importance of good health shared here.

Please what quantity of garlic, ginger and cloves a day. I am on blood pressure medications
I eat very few things out of packets and boxes I never eat crisps or in American ... chips.
I read labels and if theres a list of chemicals it goes back on the shelf because I want food not foodlike items. If I can't pronounce it or don't know what it is it goes back on the shelf.
I've even got rid of my swollen ankles!
Blood pressure around 130 over 35 from 160 over 45.
Glucose levels below 7 every morning again in American I have no idea what that means.

IF you read my comments you will understand what I am trying to say!!

Hi. From my health studies as a lifelong learner of many subjects, I can say CLOVES is the BEST antioxidants than any other things. But be careful when chewing only because it can taint the color of your teeth. You can use whole or ground cloves. And it's probably best to add water with it and don't forget to use a straw.

I entirely agree - the narrator is hopeless!!!
@@evelinaalaily385 I agree. Probably because the narrator is a machine! A real live person would pronounce the words correctly.
Exactly valuable natural medicine information delivered by a robot. A foreigner speaking with an accent is human and beautiful but a robot is mechanical! Not pleasant to listen to.
